Horrible service. Waited an hour and 15 minutes and then still had to wait another 45 minutes. When we finally got our order in a chef approached our table and then some one at our table, who wasnt in our party, requested a different chef. So we wait another 20 minutes for chef #2. When chef 2 get to our the guy who requested a different chef ask the chef to put hot sauce on the grill, this was the final straw. We tell management about this mistake and there was no attempt to fix the situation. My girlfriend and I walked out of there 2 hours and 45 minutes later still hungry and with our money in their (Osabi) pockets. We are regular customers. Will not be back for some time and I recomend you do the same until service and management is resolved.

Best local place for Teppan :) Been coming here with my family for many years. Awesome lunch specials too on both the Teppan and sushi side. If you like specialty rolls, try the Victoria roll, amazing. The owners are always a part of the atmosphere, which is nice. My favourite server is Matt....but Im a little biased as hes my brother. He does take great care of the clients though, and Ive seen first-hand. Been coming here long before he ever worked here though. Had tried a couple other spots before, but the food quality was not nearly as good as O-sabi. Cheers!

Me and my wife try foods from all over. We typically go to a teppanyaki place back home and wanted to try one here. The customer service was great but the good was over price. The flavor of the food was below average as in near tasteless. The sauces is what hit me the hardest. All sauces were watered down including the terrayaki sauce. If you want to try good teppanyaki for half the cost, go to Edo Ya in Fresno CA if youre in The area.

All these years, looking for love....to think it was right down the street all along! We just moved back to Ventura after 20 years in the bay area. With a yen for some good teppan yaki, I tried a first time to go order from O -Sabi last night. With the first bite of filet mignon and shrimp, I was HOOKED. Is it possible to become an addict overnight?? Each bite was heaven....I see many, many more trips to O-Sabi in my future - !!

First time and last time. I told the waitress I didnt want sauces on my food (food allergies). She told me the cook would ask us if we wanted sauce and they never did. I paid almost $45. for my meal and I couldnt eat it. Who would have thought they add butter to everything! My goodness. They also lost our debit card. What a shitshow!

Gosh, this place is amazing. Im a foodie and Ive eaten in many restaurants around the valley. Ten is most definitely in my top 3. Its affordable and the food NEVER disappoints. I can eat their shrimp and grit cake and pot roast everyday. Plus service is amazing, and drinks are good.

Took our 8 year old son there for his birthday this evening. Weve been before and always loved it, but tonight they were over the top in service and food and cooking. I highly recommend this place for all special occasions! Will always go there for every birthday in this family!

Affordable sushi place to go. The first time I went here I got a baked salmon and rainbow roll. Both are pretty decent for me. The second time I got their orange blossom and thats what stood up for me. The fish was fresh and its just soooo good. Presentation wise too.

Osabi serves the BEST vegetarian Teppan grilled food in Ventura County! They offer a variety of tasty vegetables with baked tofu, grilled to your perfection! The fried rice is prepared at your table and is delicious! Perfect restaurant to celebrate a special occasion!

Amazing! Came for my birthday, didnt have a reservation. Was seated with a party of eleven in minutes despite the fact the hostess said they were booked for the night. I ordered the Las Vegas roll. So good! Saki was good too!! Overall great Birthday!!

My favorite Teppan restaurant! If youre hoping to come for dinner on the weekends, I recommend a reservation - especially if you have a large group. They have a great bar and sushi as well, if thats what you would prefer. Highly recommended!

O-Sabi Sushi and Teppan is by far the best restaurant of its kind in Ventura!!! Great food, atmosphere and is family owned!! Maru, Keiko and staff will make your visit fun and enjoyable. Excellent prices and a hidden gem in Ventura!!

Its closed a lot of the times, and they have odd hours. Also, it gets really busy for dinner and there is a long wait. The sushi is good, but not the greatest and their sashimi pieces are small compared to other sushi spots.

Fun place, great food, good service. This is a fairly stripped down kind of place, which works for what it is. Had a large party (8) and they were able to accommodate us just fine. We will definitely be coming back.

Its ok for a Teppan place. Chef was entertaining but food was meh. Gets crowded on weekends, so recommend going there early. If you get seated before 5:30, you can order off the "sunset" menu, which is cheaper.
