If I could give this place zero stars I would! My husband and I took our girlfriend out to dinner on Sunday night. The food, as per usual, was great! However, the service was awful. The waitress working our table made several errors with our order and was rude, among other things. I had ordered a drink (DONT ORDER THE MARGARITAS HERE) and it was quite bad. After a few sips I explained to her that I really didnt care for the drink and asked that it be removed from the bill. At the end of the meal, she brought us the wrong bill (the one with the drink still on it) and she brought the two receipts for me to complete and sign (with the drink removed). Obviously the totals didnt match, so we were all confused. We asked for clarification and she brought the corrected receipt back. The total, after all was said and done was $78.86 (including tax). Being that we were all displeased with the quality of service I only authorized a $7.00 tip, bringing the total to $85.86. Imagine my surprise when I check my bank statement today and I see $95.86 charged by the restaurant!! Immediately, I called and asked to speak with the manager (Sung). I explained the situation and advised him that I am 100% certain I only authorized a $7.00 tip because I was so displeased with our waitress. He said he would investigate and get back to me. He calls me back 15 minutes later and states that the receipt clearly shows a $17.00 tip and he emails me a picture. I FLIPPED OUT! This woman took it upon herself to add a "1" in front of my "7.00" to give herself a $17.00 tip and she changed my "8" to a "9", in the total cost. My husband ran restaurants for 17 years, so I know what this means. As a customer, I fully expected the manager to be just as upset as I am, if not more so. His employee committed fraud. Sung, did not even so much as apologize!!! I have been eating at this restaurant for years, and you can believe I will NEVER eat here again. If the manager supports behavior like this, theres no telling what else is going on in that place, or how many customers before me have been ripped off and just never caught it. If you do eat here, make sure you always double check your bank statements to confirm that the final charge is correct!!

My wife and I have been going every Friday for 5 years now. Over the years we have seen some major things change. ALL of our favorite employees have left. I have a theory that they all rotate between the few Kabukis out there because some of them return for a short time and leave again. But the ones that count have left for good. This makes for a cold atmosphere for regulars. All of our friendships were lost. The prices have gone up. But the worst is the attitude of the new employees and the wait time. It often feels that they don;t care and don;t pay attention. I used to justify the bad stuff by saying it is affordable sushi. But the prices have gone up. It costs more than other comparable restaurants out there. With two kids I am willing to wait, but now we wait 45 min to an hour. And thats just to get in. The food sometimes takes the same amount of time. If you need a high chair there are only a handful of tables they will allow them at. That increases your wait time for the people that need to get in the most. No child can wait patiently that long. Obviously we loved it and made many life choices over a Kabuki meal, but its time to move on. Too bad.

So I usually love this place! Food is Great! Tonight is special for me & my hunny. Jennifer our server greets us & when we ask for the reverse happy hour menu, she says to us Sorry we arent serving that yet. Mind you it starts at 8Pm, we are here asking at 7:45pm TO SEE THE MENU! So my hunny & I look it up on our cell phones! Nice Service! Heres my tip for Jennifer: let ur paying customers see the menu early!!!!! DONT THINK I WILL BE COMING BACK TO THIS PLACE ANYTIME SOON....SERVICE SUCKS

Pure macrobiotic Japanese food. Absolutely awesome! Various fish choices and then you add four different alternatives - rice, beans, kale, etc. My favorite is the the Kabuki Japanese Restaurant after a Natto starter! Very nice and professional service. The Chef (and the Owner!) has kept this place going for more than 20 years. Keep going!

Just so you know I did not go during happy hour as they do not have one on Sunday. I thought from other people/posts that the prices would be better so I was a little let down. 11.75 for a Tuna sashimi, and 4.50 per roll that is what I had. Everything else was good, some day I hope to try it during happy hour!

Came here for dinner on a Friday night around 6pm. I had a stroller and they were very accommodating which surprised me as they were quite busy. The food was pretty good, prices were as expected, our server was very nice but was a tad slow. Could have just been due to the dinner rush. Good experience overall

Their happy hour prices are pretty good, but the service I didnt like. The waitress seemed to take forever to get my initial order and again when I tried to order another round of drinks. Order a couple of shrimp tempura roll during happy hour and youll be good to go.

Good food. Service was on the slow side but doesnt bother me. Got the Kabuki Japanese Restaurant special. It has a sweet sauce and was good. Dark knight had citrus light sauce that was also good. DoubleTuna, Spicy Tuna on crispy rice, Japanese tacos were "delish".

Limited options during the lunch hour near my work often lead me to Kabuki for very "safe" tasting Japanese food such as teriyaki, tempura, miso soup, etc. I dont order sushi from this restaurant, however, as it seems a bit too mass produced for my liking.

This is a great place. Does not feel like a chain restaurant at all. The service is fast and presented by friendly service. The price is very reasonable as well. This is a good place for a first date or groups of friends who share a love of sushi.

Ive eaten here a few times since I work across the street. If you dine in its a good experience, the service is good and so is the sushi. It seems like their phone service has improved. The girl who works there at lunch is really nice.

Ordered a lunch to go and was very pleased with the quality of the food. It wasnt terribly expensive either. Seems to be authentic Japanese cuisine. Id recommend this to anyone that likes seafood or sushi

Waiter was alright, food not worth the price, 20 dollars for a plate that took 40 minutes to prepare. The portions were way too small for the price. Dont do it. Not worth it.
