I guess this place used to be good but not anymore! I cant believe that I spent $15 for for a traditional philicheesesteak, sweet potato fries, and a drink and only received about $3 worth of food!!! Quality is ok but the portion sizes are a joke! Im a chef and understand portion control but this is rediculous! There was about 1/4 basket of sweet potato fries (.50cents) worth, sandwich was all bread just half filled with meat ($2) at most, and a soda which was the best value their!!! Its sad when restaurant owners dont have a clue about quality control! Sad, sad, sad!

I have lived or traveled throughout. the US but you always are looking for the comfort food that you grew up with. For me growing up in the Philadelphia area, the comfort foods for me were soft pretzels and CHEESESTEAKS. I have tried cheesesteaks every where that I went in search for the kinda of cheesesteak that I grew up with. No Luck. But then I found it right here in Elk Grove! If you want a REAL Philly cheesesteak this is the place to go Excellet!. They even understand wit whiz.

The owner has gotten quite tight! Before if you had a coupon, hed let you re-use it. Now he collects it and doesnt give anymore out. The meat portion has gotten smaller and the you come out very thirsty after eating here. Portion of the fries also got considerably smaller.

My wife and I absolutely love this place. Friendly service, the food isnt instantly available because its made to order. Come in from Monday-Thursday and get the second sandwich half off deal.

The Cheese Steak is absolutely fantastic but comes without a drink and side. If you want a full lunch meal then youre looking at over $10.00.

Regular staple at the house. Easy dinner and great for feeding everyone for football! Mushroom is my favorite with sweet peppers.

Its good, but realize the meat uncooked is abt 3 oz, once beef is cooked it shrinks down. Prices havent shrunk though.
