My first time at outback was a success. Id been hesitant to go for years, as it seemed like any other diner chain (Applebees, Sharis, etc.), and Id have to say that I was satiated, but not impressed nor thrilled; very indecisive about how I felt. (+1) for the Appearance. It was decently clean and smelled nice and fresh. Honestly, Id like to take a point for the lack of server interaction, but there was some redeeming qualities that negated the point I was thinking about revoking, so (+/- 0). I know its not this specific locations fault, but Im still not with the tablet devices you can order and pay with. With those working busser/waiter/server positions, their attention is much more spread out because individual tables require less attention, however Ill negate the point I revoked because the waiter was absolutely gorgeous. Im just upset I didnt get the opportunity to ask for his # :/ (+1) for the food. My steak with sauteed mushrooms was very average, but the Blooming onion deserves the point alone. (+1) for the audio level in the restaurant. It was nice and quiet, there was no unruly/loud customers, and everybody did their best to uphold the relaxing ambiance. Great work from the customers and staff alike for regulating that. Id like to end it off with a (+1) because they didnt charge me extra for coffee refills and to prepare extra marinade for my steak after they already brought it out. Wise move on the management, you guys have earned my respect :) Would absolutely return if my Grandparents were to come into town, as it provides an intimate experience with those you come in with without too much waiter interaction or distracting factors (Such as blinding lighting and loud, boisterous people), but Its not somewhere Id return to with a group of friends on a night out.

Outback still thinks its cool to "stick-it" to their customers. There were 3 in our party. Mama had French Onion Soup with a blue cheese salad. I had Prime Rib, 13 Oz with Blue cheese salad and baked potato and Dad had Porter-house with Blue cheese salad and baked potato. We all had drinks. I had a Long Island ice tea, mama had a Tanqueray gin and tonic and dad had a Tanqueray gin and tonic. Take a look at the pictures below. The empry glass was the first long island that they comped because I had to send it back. They forgot to put booze in the first one. There is an example of a full one in the other picture. That is a US Quarter in my fingers. The gin and tonics were 9 dollars and that long island was 8 dollars. You can also see what size the water glass is. Not sure what kind of game they are playing, but I would be embarrassed. Drink size matters. I didnt ask for samples of the drinks! This is Elk Grove, not Las Vegas! Itll be a little while before we go back to the Outback Steakhouse! $104 dollars for the entire experience is pretty steep! Thank God our waitress understood our pain. My Dad left his business card with the hostess and requested a call from the manager. Well see how that goes....

We have been here several times in the past year. Overall, the service is good but the food lacks the flavor that I have experienced at other Outback locations. I ordered the Teriyaki Filet Medallions over a bed of rice pilaf and vegetables ($18.00). For the price of the dish and the cut of the meat I would expect absolutely no grizzle or fat but I was disappointed to find some. As far as the other items on the plate, the vegetables were bland but the rice was actually OK. My wife had the Bloomin’ burger topped with onion petals. She said that the onions tasted ‘old’ and we could hear the people behind us complaining about their onions. Also, it was supposed to come with a spicy bloom sauce but she had to ask for some mustard because the burger was dry. Her fries were soggy and not crispy. Not sure why the kitchen can’t get this right . . . other Outback locations can do loops over this one. It all starts in the kitchen.

Ive never waited for so long and got seated in a little corner with me and my wife and my sleeping Sun I then waited another half an hour for crappy service the waitress never check back in with us never received any drinks the food was so poor I paid 60 dollars for a meal that should have cost me 2 dollar I hate it I never would recommend it quality was horrible people horrible everything was horrible. I hope they see this so they can better improve themselves because I will never go there ever again Id hate to see everyone else in my community go to this Corp place called Outback steak should have been called out back alley and dont get me wrong I love outback just will never eat at this 1 I believe it is the managers and the team and the cooks that are just plain crappy

Hey Mates! My Ribeye was perfectly Medium Rare and was delicious. That is what the stars are for. My dining partners medium steak was redder than mine so was quite disappointingly undercooked. The side of mixed veggies was soggy and did not have any fresh crunch to them... reminded me of frozen veggies, which I think they were. The worst part of the meal was when the person I was there with found a dead fly floating in her iced tea!!! UGH. I should take away another star for that and the fact that they still billed her the $3.25 for that nasty drink. I asked them to take that charge off after I saw it on the bill... I probably should have asked for the whole meal to be comped as it kinda spoiled the meal! Oh well, lucky we were starving.

This has to be the worst Outback restaurant Ive ever been to. Extremely SLOW service. The place was dead, and it still took them over 10 minutes to offer to seat us, even though bartender and multiple servers had looked at us. But I had gift cards I wanted to use, so we stayed. Our server actually got annoyed with me when I said I already knew what I wanted and said "thats nice but Ill get your order when I come back with your drinks". Steak and baked potato were still good, but I was so irritated and annoyed by our server, I didnt really enjoy dinner. Had to flag down other servers and one time go to the bar ourselves in order to get refills of iced tea and beer.

There was a Terrible odor when I walked in, I almost left. We were seated to close to the bar, I didnt like listening to the bar tender talking to a couple about swinging, the seats were uncomfortable, the size of the meal was almost funny, lobster was so tiny as well as small steak, we also ordered a to go order at the same time I ordered our dinner. As we finished eating, we ask for our to go order, the waitress said sorry the kitchen is closed, and I forgot to put in your order. Bottom line, I would not go back.

Poor service, lousy food. Took 15 min. to seat us and there were no costumers. I ordered chicken and it supposed to come with steamed veggies. I ordered a side salad. The salad came out and a piece of dry chicken no steam vegies. Waitress assumed, didnt ask if I wanted steamed veggies and salad. My husband ordered a burger which was raw inside. We will never go back again. Worst ever. I would give zero stars.
