After seeing the commercial for the 1-2-3 steak combo, I decided to take my wife and mother-in-law out to eat at Outback in Roseville. It was not quite 1pm, so the restaurant had been open only an hour. The bread was stale, but the salads were fantastic. The baked potatoes were slightly warm, and tasted like three or four days old. I had a half rack of ribs with my 6 oz steak, the ribs were fabulous. All three 6 oz steaks did not look anything like the television advertisement. They appeared to have been cooked on a grill, not an open flame. Instead of being 4 inches by 4 inches by 1 inch, like on tv, the were 2 inches by 2 inches by 4 inches, kind of like the end of a 2x4 piece of wood, and almost as chewy. I can appreciate a good thick cut of meat, but the thicker the cut, the steak had better have an increase in quality. These steaks were as easy to cut as bottom round. A camera showing the three of us sawing like crazy on these chunks of cow would be entertaining, if it was someone else. I can forgive a lot of errors in a meal, but the steak must be edible.

As usual the food was good; HOWEVER it was the worst service we have has in 20+ years of going to Outback. We were seated on the patio right away; but it was almost 15 minutes before any waiter stopped by. We presented a coupon from email; it had no limitations printed on it. The waiter took it to the front; 5 minutes later another waiter came back and said it was a chain offer and her branch did not honor it. We were offered less food for $12 more; no Blooming onion. So we ordered anyway; the meat/potatoes were brought before the salad. The meat was grisly. When we finally got around to paying some 10 minutes after we were done; the server brought food to 3 other tables before we had to stop her and ask for out totals and our credit cards. Overall we spent 30 minutes waiting for service above and beyond the time between ordering and first food arriving; and we paid $12 more than the Valentines day coupon had promised.

We had a party of three, got there at 6pm and were told itd be about 20minutes. And hour and twenty later and were still not served. We ask whats going and come to find they hadnt even put our name on the list even though we were given a buzzer to tell us when there would be a table available. Next we order the food came before the drinks, I got a strawberry mohitto and we all also got waters. They never refilled the waters and my drink was over poured and stronger than anything Ive ever tasted. The food when it did come another 45mins later was discusting. Soggy fries, undercooked hamburger. Everything that could have gone wrong did. If it wasnt for the fact that we paid with gift cards I wouldnt have paid at all and would have asked for a refund. Just awful.

Ordered the filet and asked it they could blacken it Cajun style and the waiter said no problem. Food did take almost 35 minutes to come which I guess is expected as they are busy at night around 7:00pm. Steak finally came and it was not blackened and had a huge pile of butter about the size of an ice cream scoop and I asked the waiter what happened. He said that they dont do the Blackened thing so the cook added the butter option. Not what I was looking for! I came to get the bill and they had also charged me for the butter on the steak. I asked the waiter why they charged me for something I didnt want or order and I said that I barely finished the steak because of the butter........He then asked me if I wanted to take it off of the bill. Lol.....

Decent enough food for a corporate restaurant assuming one isnt too picky. Dont expect the meat to be graded above Select if even that high but its edible if utilizing a sharp steak knife. Note: dont bother attempting to get a steak cooked as you requested. If you care how your meat is cooked, save yourself the grief and order the pasta or the fish. Service is timely enough if you go early or late given their staff is not composed of individuals who have ever waited tables in their lives. Theyre nice enough though. Id go back again if it was the only place still open and I was hungry.

I was very disappointed! I ordered the steak and lobster, when I received my dinner the lobster turned out to be 3 small tails! I was expecting one lobster tail not 3 baby tails with two bites per tail! I did not expect the filet to be very big and was not disappointed there. I expect to receive what the menu states and there was no mention of baby tails under the steak and lobster! It was our Anniversary dinner and I was so disappointed it ruined my whole dinner. The day was July 5th 2016 at 8pm

Horrible experience. When we got here we were told it was a 20 minute wait. 25 minutes later, when people who came in after us were being seated, my husband went to find out how long it would be for us ro get seated and they had completely skipped over us on the waiting list. Then our server took our order and we didnt see him again until our check was brought over and it was the wrong check. We had to ask 3 times for drink refills and waited 5 minutes for a to go box. Horrible service.

Outback was GREAT FOOD the best we had the onion bloom rib eye and prime rib it was GREAT!!!! The service also. The owner came over to the table. My husband has high cholesterol and asks some question, to the service and he got the owner. It is better than Tahoe Joe’s you can here the other person you talking to. This is are favor place to eat wish they had one in auburn. everything is EXCELLENT!!!!!! my husband did not stick to his diet. but it was out of this world July 29,

A horrible experience for my birthday. The waiter didnt get my order right. When I sent the plate back, it was returned with all the same food only pushed around the plate differently. And it was all over-cooked now too. There was no apology offered either. I refused to eat it. When my group finished eating, the waiter took more than 20 minutes to return with the check and he tried to charge me for my dish. So then I had to argue over the bill. Ridiculous. No tip for sure.

I have always looked forward to the good service and excellent quality food at Outback, however, I will not be back to Outback at any location ever again. Every thing was great until the waiter told me he could not take my credit card and I needed to check out on a machine at the table. I will no longer support a business that makes the customer the cashier. It is insulting and negates any and all the good experience of the dining experience.

We always come to this location and love it! We went there on Mothers Mothers day again, and we were surprised! We got sited in 10 min. Food came in in like 10 min as well! And its on the Holiday! My steak was undercooked, and they took it and cooked a bit longer, then chef came out to make sure it was perfect, and then Manager! Excellent customer service! I highly appreciate yummy food and all employees! Thank you again !
