Ive eaten at other Five Guys before, so I was very excited to see one open in Hendersonville. Maybe my expectations were a bit high, but I left slightly disappointed. If youre not familiar with Five Guys, the portions are rather large. 2 can easily get a small burger each and share 1 order of fries, and leave miserably full. No problem there. They also have the Coke freestyle machines, so its always fun to watch people try to figure those out :) The burgers were good as always, but the fries were a huge letdown. For a place with "fries" in the name, you expect good fries, you know? We decided to try the Cajun fries for the first time. They were very soggy, and the seasoning was not applied uniformly at all. One fry would have Cajun powder caked on, the next would be plain. Maybe Ive been spoiled by other places, but if youre in Hendersonville and want a good burger joint, do yourself a favor and seek out Jumbo & Delicious. Youll get more food for less, and that place hasnt let me down yet.

Ate here for the first time yesterday because I had heard it was delicious, so I wanted to try it out for myself.... it was $32 (wtf?) for two burgers, two fries and two drinks. No combos, apparently? We got our drinks, which tasted disgusting and like they had no carbonation whatsoever. We got our food pretty quick and it came in a giant paper bag, which is pretty wasteful and annoying, since we were eating there. Our cheese was not melted and the fries were extremely soggy and disgusting. We ended up throwing away most of our fries because they were mushy and felt undercooked. Instead of Five Guys it should be called Five Crispy Fries because all you get is 5 good fries out of the whole batch. Would not recommend. Wish Apollo Burger was still around!

Food is good as usual. The workers seemed confused and not enough there to work the crowd. Longest wait ever in any Five Guys Restaurant and it wasnt lunch or dinner time. The most disturbing is the cashier spilled a milkshake took his gloves off cleaned it up on the floor with hand paper towels, then picked up the cup without washing his hands then put the lid on the shake. After that still didnt wash his hands..rang up 5 more people made 2 more shakes still did not wash his hands. Ive sat here for another 10 mins...no washing hands. Wow....

Love the burgers! But this location needs some training or something. Went in between lunch and dinner, there were only 15 or so people in the place, 4 people working the grill. Took 28 minutes to get 2 burgers and a fry. Thats even with pulling the fries up before they were done (soggy fries) to get the order out faster.

I was looking forward to trying this based on all of the rave from others. I have visited three times. In my opinion, just an average burger with average teenage customer service. I prefer my fries a little crispy outside and tender inside, not so much soggy and limp. Wouldnt be my first choice for a burger & fries.

They are a little pricey but not by much more than the regular fast food places. Food is good. Does take them a little while to get your food ready. $2.29 for a small drink is what really makes the total bill a little pricey.

Burgers are ok, fries are really good, shakes are amazing. Food is expensive for a fast food place. Food takes a little longer to get to your table, but it is all cooked fresh. Employees are really nice a helpful.

Be warned! A regular burger is two patties and a lot to eat. The selection of toppings and sauces give you a chance to mix and match something new every time. Oh, and the fries cant be beat.
