Nom. I went to the Mission Community Farmers Market. First table I passed a guy was holding out a sample of some kind of baked good. Below him was a spread of heavenly looking edibles. Im not a foodie, and I was only planning on getting produce so this was unexpected. I looked at the guy and told him thanks, but Im trying not to eat gluten. He said thats good because his stuff was all gluten free and pointed to the giant sign behind him. I tried the sample and it was delicious. He asked if I wanted to try something else, so I had something chocolate and I was sold. I bought two muffing things, one was lemon and chocolate and the other was chocolate and something. They werent cheap, but man oh man they are good. And beautiful. If you want some gourmet gluten free baked goods this bakery is amazing.

This is by far one of the best places for baked goods both traditional and unusual. Their breads are spectacular especially the brie/cranberry when they have it. Coming in a very close second are the pesto bread and the artichoke bread. The latter of the two I purchased when it was still warm. Their pumpkin tea bread is like none other I have either baked myself or purchased. I purchased one for our afternoon tea at my office and every single individual who sampled it raved about it. We have purchased several different pastries, cookies, cupcakes and such and every one has been wonderful. The molasses/ginger cookies are incredible too. If you are near Old Towne Novato a stop at FlourChylde at Grant & Sherman is a MUST!!!

Oh boy am I a fan! This place makes gluten free a non-issue. Delicious pastries, bread and bagels. They have an amazing bagel and almond milk cream cheese...ask to have your bagel toasted. I have one issue with this place: they have PRIME store front and weekend traffic, yet they ARENT OPEN on Sundays? WTF?! Really!? Open on Sundays already! Update: Ok, seriously? Whats the point of a bakery thats not open until 9am? I feel like this store must be a front for the Mafia. People buy pastries early in the morning and on weekends. Why is this place not open all weekend and early mornings? Who grabs pastries at noon for the next morning? Nobody! You get them last minute so they are fresh.

Gluten-free bakery. Slightly pricey, but we had lunch for two for $20. Their iced tea was fantastic. I had one with "African" in the name, and it was flowery, maybe a Rooibos blend. $2 refills are a little prohibitive, though. The bread was good for gluten-free. The white-bread analog we had had a dense texture like a cornmeal cake, and the flavor was unobtrusive. Both my wife and I got our sinuses singed on the horseradish mustard used on our sandwiches, so if you dont like spicy mustard, maybe ask them to go light on that. We did not try anything sweet, but the presentation was very strong, and I was sorely tempted by a molasses cookie.

the chocolate hazelnut croissant is nothing but dough smeared with a smidge of nutella and drizzled with chocolate so dont bother unless youre into that kind of thing. Also, my spiced mocha dissolved into itself, leaving an overpriced mass of sugar as i stood outside on the phone with my bank trying to resolve a payment issue. The vanilla bean torte bite, however, was worth the bitchy service provided by the counter girl who couldnt figure out that the credit card machine worked better when she wasnt on the phone. lousy first time experience but yummy enough that i will be back to check out a cake or two.

This bakery has a great selection, all gluten free, and everything has tasted exceptional. Theres only been two things I didnt like from here: the Kalamata olive round(which had a bit too much salt for my taste) the Linzer torte(which tastes more like an olive oil cake than a browned butter torte). Ive had their goods fresh from several farmers market locations around the bay, as well as fresh from their cute boutique like storefront in Novato. They sell baking mixes there that are exceptional and priced quite affordably. The staff is very friendly and appreciative.

So nice to have a refuge for the pastrie-deprived GF coffeeholic. Great coffee, good sandwiches, rich pastries, and they made the first birthday cake I had in 15 years!

Gluten free bread that actually bounces! Not a brick that will chip your teeth -- but chewy, soft, bready bread. And gluten free sandwiches for $4.50? I am in heaven.
