We came here with high expectations and were profoundly disappointed. We came dressed up for what was supposed to be a special brunch reservation for my husband and I while the majority of people around us were extremely casual. Our waiter twice completely ignored our attempts to politely get his attention tho clearly making eye contact. When asked about an ingredient in the drink my husband ordered, another server pled ignorance then after we explained our interest, she finally agreed to go ask the kitchen - she NEVER returned and we were never given an answer. The food was as spectacular as has been touted but the service left an ugly taste in our mouths. Perhaps dinner service is better but for what they charge at brunch, we should not have had such a poor experience.

Pretty cute place. I grew up in Elk Grove and never realized there was a place like this hidden away in old EG. Its quaint and nicely decorated. Its part casual, part upscale. It can be a long wait, so if you dont mind the wait in a cramped spot, its great food. Moderate pricing, simple and small menu. very good overall. I usually have more of a savory craving at brunch, but I got the French toast and was not disappointed. Chunks of apple and all. Mimosa and cocktails were interesting and delicious. Id try it again.

What a great restaurant. The service was very welcoming & pleasant. Food presentation was immaculate. Each dish, from the salad to the entree to the dessert, made us want to dissect every bite to figure out why it tasted so good. Why was a certain fruit used in the shrimp cocktail? Because it just worked. Why was there so little condiments to add to the plates, it was fine the way it was prepared. Price? Extremely reasonable. We will be coming back very soon.

You need reservations to eat at this restaurant. My fiance took me here after proposing in the daytime at the vineyard with the friends. So at night, he thought this will be a nice romantic restaurant for us to celebrate because he read online that was the best vote restaurant in Elk Grove. I dont know if thats the truth. Its a tiny restaurant inside and food was NOT up to my expectation.

A little on the expensive side, you *do* get what you pay for. In Elk Grove...heck I will go so far as to say, in the whole of Sacramento, you wont find a better, more honest approach to upper class French cuisine, all sourced as locally as the chef can. The greens are fresh, vibrant and full of flavor. The meats, succulent and juicy, and the desserts...well, just save some room!

Had brunch there a while ago. We couldnt believe this place was in EG "the land of chain restaurants". We sat on the patio outside which was pretty relaxing, our food arrived and the presentation was top notch as was the food itself. Highly recommend!! You would think this place would be in downtown or midtown. EG is lucky!

By far my favorite place in the Sacramento area for date night with my wife. As mentioned, cost is more than the average meal, but what you get is so beyond average. Food is excellent, service is outstanding! Ive never been disappointed.

Great service. Be sure to make a reservation before you go. Im on a strict gluten-free diet. The server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made sure the dish I wanted had no gluten in it.
