We visited this small cafe next to the Ramada Inn. Friends from Atascadero said it was bragged about. Breakfast was really good except for the party of 6 with the screaming 1 year old Tasmanian She-Devil who could have competed with a jet engine for the loudest noise. But I digress... I had the Fat Tuesday Omelette with a 1/2 order Pain Purdue (French Toast). The stewed beef & bacon in the omelette was amazing. The service was good except the issue mentioned earlier. Ill definitely go back.

Really good! Reminded me a lot of the Southern food I was used to eating growing up. First time I went I got the Alligator Ettouffee, but I ended up eating most of my boyfriends catfish po boy. Next time I went I got the fried catfish lunch specialty. Im obsessed with their catfish!! Also their desserts are amazing

It was good food. The service was great for us. Felt like a coffee shop more than a Creole place. By the way, they had grits with the eggs, but the grits had no butter and were just so so. But the sausage was nice and in general it was southern. Ambiance/ atmosphere was awesome... great location.

Bon Temps is a great Creole cafe with delicious food. Bring your appetite - the servings are HUGE. their new location by the train station is fantastic. If youre looking for a healthy place, this is not it. They do, however, have good vegetarian and even some vegan options.

Wow! Great food. Great atmosphere. Outdoor dining. The only negative was service was sporadic but we didnt realize they close 2:00 to 4:00 and we showed up at 1:30. We are diffinitely going back but not so close to their closing.

Delicious! I had fried green tomatoes, fried okra, corn bread and boiled peanuts. My husband had the Mardi Gras omelet. Chelsea was friendly and attentive. Atmosphere was complete with zydeco music.

Love this place! The Seafood Gumbo and the Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya are the best! Great portions too! We made reservations and were accommodated beautifully. Well ne sure to be back soon.
