The new complex known as the Point in El Segundo is absolutely beautiful with its exquisite landscape. The depth of view of the new restuarnt is wonderful, The two hostesses could be a tad more friendly. Their computer could be raised higher so they are not straning their back and neck. I would also recommend that they wear more comfortable shoes since they are constantly on their feet and walking on concrete. The hostesses stated in would be a 45 minute wait, not the end of the world on a Saturday night with no reservations. However one needs to be careful on stating the wait time because their are other choices within walking distance and more coming on line in the very near future. My girlfrind and I went for a 20 minute walk to see the new open air complex. We came back to check in if our wait time was shortened. The hostesses stated that we could sit anywhere around the bar area. I finally got to meet Logan, the manger on duty, he said give me a few minutes and to see what he could do. Two minutes later we were sat at a wonderful table for two with the most comfortable chairs. Our server Kristal was outstanding. Kristal new her product, new the background of the company and some of the future plans for the company. Kristal has a wonderful personlaity and demonstrated an interest in growing with the company. I personally like when excellant employees show interest in growing with a company. The food that Kristal recommended was fabulous. We started withe the homemade meatballs as an appetizer and I had the homemade Pasta Bolognese and my girlfriend had the Gnocchi with short ribs, simply divine. I personally like my pasta al dente. For dessert we had the salted caramel custard, just wonderful. I complimented Logan on the entire dining service and food! This will be a definte return for us. Well done everyone!!!

Such a good place! Nice atmosphere, super friendly service, fantastic food. We beat the dinner rush and made the reservation at 5:30, when we got there only a couple tables were taken but as we were leaving the place was packed and people were waiting to be seated. We shared a pitcher of sangria, it was very good, and the truffle garlic bread everyone was raving about in other reviews - also good. For the main we got the strazzouti (or whatever its called) creamy pasta which was delicious, the Parmesan chicken which was fantastic, except the side of cream pasta that came with it was not that amazing, I read someone substituted it for pesto and I wish I had done the same, and finally a pizza half margarita half prosciutto - the server said they dont usually half it but he was very accommodating, and my friend said the prosciutto half was excellent. Speaking of the server, super nice, making jokes all the time, very helpful and really made the experience wonderful. Of course we couldnt skip dessert and got the hazelnut torta GET THIS and take it to share between at least three people, it is very sweet but oh so heavenly the best dessert I had in a long time, Nutella, salted caramel, just everything I love. We also tried the tiramisu which was also good but man doesnt compare to the torta. Also the shopping center is very nice, small and cozy with a couple nice shops so we walked around a little to burn off some calories (and money). Great place, hope I get to go there again someday.

Arrived around 4 for an early dinner. The restaurant was empty. We were seated quickly at a corner booth. Took awhile for the waiter to take our order. Was put off when he sat down in the chair across from us. We ordered our drinks, (took 20 minutes to get them). Water took even longer... The water had a strange taste. Couldnt drink it, waiter sat down again to tell us a story about why the water tasted bad. His story dIdnt make sense. We ordered a Milano mule, a Cabernet, the Short Rib Radiatori, Chicken Parm, Chocolate tort and Bomboline, and two Italian coffees. The food was good. Thats why I gave the place 4 stars. Finally, asked for the check, (not kidding) the waiter sat down and tried to hard sell us a security system from another company he works for. Other employees I guess are use to this behavior because everyone walking passed payed no attention. Im a therapist, I have a lot of patience. Didnt want to complain because the guy obviously had poor social skills and no common sense. Cannot teach that. Felt bad for him.

Im truly blown away by the exceptional service received at this North Italia location. Bree, the manager, is outstanding and her servers follow her lead with wonderful service. Other restaurants should take note on what makes a restaurant successful. People dont mind paying for great food and drinks when quality customer is tightly wrapped with a bow on top. I often had wondered where great customer service had gone...but I have found it and this restaurant deserves more than 5 stars. The food is authentic and every bite is delicious. Thank you Bree and North Italia for bringing back not only tasty food but wonderful customer service.

I have been to North Italia three times. First time was intriguing. Second and third times were below average. The Caesar salad is fine but overpriced for the portion. The Farmers salad is a mushy tasteless mess and the salami was just plain weird tasting. We left most of it behind. The tomato soup was salty. Spaghetti was underwhelming and weak. Used to be my go to place. Hop Doddy and Cafe Superba across the way will be on my agendas for my next visits. Consider this place too popular for all of the wrong reasons. Service was good but the food left a bad taste literally.

The happy hour from 3 to 6 every day except for Sunday is great. The service is consistently good and the people who work there are friendly and attentive. I love the chefs board and the tiramisu with the Valhrona chocolate pearls on top. The place fills up fast, so make a reservation in advance if you watch to sit at a table and not at the bar. There are lots of seats at the bar, both indoors and outdoors, and its open with good airflow.

For a chain restaurant, this place is DELICIOUS. It’s more authentic Italian food than you’d typically find in a mall area. They are usually pretty packed but take reservations online so that’s convenient. Service is usually excellent and they even have a “bar area” if you want to watch the Sunday game. It’s become a new favorite place to take out of towners for a nice dinner.

Complimentary bread and butter always are a good starter here. I had the americano for brunch and really liked how they were extremely flexible on substitutions. The platter with cheese, olives, bread, nuts, etc (forgot what Its called) is a splendid starter though the the prices are absolutely through the roof.

North Italia has to have a some of the best Italian food out there right now.Came with some friends because we had heard such great things and were so excited. Ordered a bunch of plates and split them.. Let me just say wow... Every bite was packed with flavor!
