First time going. They bring garlic bread and bruschetta right after you sit down which was great. We both had a salad with our meals which came first. The salad wasnt anything special maybe I should have tried the soup. My husband ordered the lemon and caper tilapia. Which was very mushy. I ordered the chicken parm. The chicken was extremely over cooked I count even cut it with a knife. When I finally did I couldnt even bite through it. But the spaghetti with meat sauce was just like my grandmas (full blooded Chicago Italiano). They were very nice about the chicken and removed it off of the bill. I would try it again just tell them to cook the tilapia longer and the chicken not so long.

I have had many delicious experiences here, I grew up right around the corner and I will always remember my mom ordering there mouth watering authentic pizza pie... it was always my favorite and still is. Now that Im older and have neices in there tweens I occasionally love to take them to there aunties stomping grounds so they can experience the full Salvatores experience. Yo cant go wrong with this place, from the food, to the accordion player, to the quaint settings. . Its awesome and will most definitely be a place youll keep going back to.

Good Italian food in a city more known for its Asian food, We came here for lunch with co-workers and got the meat lasagna and the salad with Italian dressing. The lasagna was filling and a good value in my opinion. The salad was good as was the garlic bread which came in handy to mop up the sauce that was left on the plate. Service was exceptional and it was an overall good dining experience, certainly a place to visit if you are in the area.

Skeptical when I saw the exterior decor. PLEASANTLY surprised upon entering! Even more pleased with the food & service. Also, cocktails available. Several families with kids though not noisy. Some of the best Italian food in the San Gabriel Valley! The food is excellent, the service is fast and friendly, and the prices are very reasonable. Its a great place to bring the family or a date, you cant go wrong.

I ordered the shrimp scampi, it had no salt, no seasoning of any kind the shrimp was just as bland. I personally will never set foot there again.
