OMG!! We saw this place on "Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown " just a week before we came to Houston from Canada and I just had to try it out. Wow!! I will be dreaming of this food for weeks. We tried the potato, the beef and chicken. ( we dont eat pork) and green beans. Everything was so soft, fell apart, east to chew, cook with the right amount of spice. And the dipping sauce they give you is to die for. The owners son came to talk with us and told us they cook their meat on wood fire only, not gas and you can feel and hear the love he puts into his food. So much soul in this place. I love it! Next time we are in Houston, this will be my first spot.

I usually dont write reviews, but WOW. This place was great from the time I walked in to the time I rolled out. They had a really friendly staff and recognized I was a first time customer and without hesitation gave me a little sampling of some of their meats. It was a tough choice, as everything was good. I settled for the ribs and brisket. The ribs were suburb and the brisket was out of this world. It was moist and when coupled with their bbq sauce, I was in heaven. I also ordered the baked beans and potato salad, which were both awesome. Highly recommend this place. Make sure you go on a completely empty stomach.

I went there after work stood in line they really need to practice on better customer service they had 1 cashier who also was answering the phone and taking orders so when the phone rings the people in line are further impacted to wait. . Then what topped my experience off was I ordered 3 chopped beef sandwiches and opened one when I got home to eat and it was gummy meaning it wasnt full cooked. Also tried the ribs the were tuff as well. So disappointed in the food that was my 3rd and final time visiting that establishment.

I wish there were more locations because the barbecue here is spectacular. Ive had barbecue from here several times. Normally Im not a barbecue person but I love their food and will drive to this location on De Priest when I have a taste for it. The prices are very reasonable and you get a lot for your money. From what I understand this is the original location. Of the 2 locations I prefer this one easily. Just as others have stated. The De Priest Location is the best. The others are a disappointment.

Very good place to eat but the bbq is locate very unusual location. The wait is so long. You need to get the number first. Wait to be call for 20 minutes. Order the food and wait online again to pay at the cashier. The wait is at least 30 minutes. Wait again to pickup order another 10 minutes or so. We live in California and this was an experience for us. The food is good and I really the ribs and tips. Dont have corn and bake bean is not like CA. I also like the breads. Its good.

I went there December 13 and the food was very disappointing. I tried to call but didnt get an answer. From now on I will sample before making an final decision because apparently there must be different cooks and their styles of cooking are totally different. Money and gas wasted. This was my first disappointing experience. The food is normally quite good. Yes I would definitely recommend sampling or if the smoke smell isnt pungent then dont purchase.

Great food service is terrible and so slow and youre swarmed with flies. The place just looks dirty, and if you eat there youre swarmed by flies. Everyone there got take out and I see why. This place needs to address the flies. The person who took my order obviously didnt wanna be there and my order was ready for some time before she got to handing them out. I really wanted to give this place 3 stars but this BBQ is really good. Greasy

The spicy sausage was incredible! The BBQ brisket was superb! Cant say its as good as Franklin BBQ but its dang close!! Super friendly staff helped to get the 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️rating! We were in town from San Antonio to go to the airport and wanted food but decided not to choose the typical fast food chain fare and decided to branch out. That was the best choice today! Great job you guys! Yall are Texas BBQ!

I have been coming to Burns BBQ since I was a kid. Nothing has changed except the space is a little bigger and the sauce is a little tastier than I remember. They even have catering options now! Recently, my boyfriend and I tried the two meat loaded baked potato. We couldnt even finish it! (Well, later we did because were gluttons but mannnn we couldnt let that go to waste). An acres home must try!

My goodness. This BBQ was delicious, incredibly fullfing, not only the food but the guest services was Awesome. I even got a chance to witness incrediable guest service as I seen a cook walk out to assist an elderly lady with her meal to her car. This make me proud Acreage Homes is lifting up the community, with good services, and good food. Make sure to meet me on the Patio for some BBQ.

They have my favorite Potato salad and chopped beef sandwich. I would have rated it a 4 but the attitude of my cashier ruined the experience. She was very rude and mean. I asked her for a suggestion and she stated that she didnt give them. Meanwhile, the other cashier was super friendly to the other guests. People in the front make a difference, management should take note of that.

Always worth the wait. I tired the homemade link for the first time and it was pretty good. Also bought an off menu item called "The Ends" which I had before but the price increased significantly and they tired to camouflage it with a 2for1 price. Although we got more but I paid 1.5 time what I paid last time i bought this off menu item...That didnt set well with me

This is the best place you may have never heard of. Tonight was my first time trying and I absolutely will be back!!! The 3 meat super baked potato was so amazingly good. I highly doubt youll be able to finish it but youll love every single bite of it. The meat slides right off the bones. Do yourself a favor and indulge in the best BBQ in Houston. Hands down.

Out of this world! We are in from Oregon and I wanted to try some good old fashion Tex BBQ, was not disappointed. Staff had their hands full with a long line of folks during the lunch rush but did a great job getting everyone taken care of. The ribs and beans were world class. Id drive 300 miles to wait in that line again. Very happy we found the place.

Best Bar B Que Ever! I am a true southern girl I loooove good food, so If you live in houston or a surrounding area you have to try this place...the Bar B Que is delicious I love the brisket and links, extra sauce uuuummmmhhhmmm Good! If your not from Houston and you want to get a real feel for down home smoked bar b que this is the place to go.
