The best $10 salads served with a side of hair money can buy. What is not excellent is the side of hair Ive found in my last two salads over the span of a week. The first time, a curly clump so big it still makes me gag when i think about it. Tonight I finally got over the horror of it and got another salad for dinner only to find a big long black hair in it about half way through. At $10+ a salad Id think the profit margins are fat enough to buy hair nets - I guess not... Never again Sweet Green.

Sweetgreen is my favorite lunch place in Silver Spring. They are a bit pricey for a salad (expect to pay about $9 per), but their salads are amazing, and in my opinion, worth it. As a vegetarian, I appreciate their veggie salads, especially the Chic-p, which I get most often. They also have reusable salad holders that you can buy and reuse each time you go. Also, their utensils are compostable, which is pretty cool. In general, the people there are very friendly and nice.

Arugula, Kale, Spinach, shrimp, dried grapefruits, a piece of avocado, some sprouts and a mixing of two or three kinds of dressing is my favorite. I especially love the sweetgreens bread. There are various choices of healthy drink and yogurt... Sweetgreen space is elegantly decorated. There are meaningful quotes on the wall... Summer seems to be tender a little bit if I am in sweetgreen salad.

Stopped by here for lunch with a few people. After the staff confirmed they could make a dish, they then backed out of it halfway through stating the ordered combination was not doable anymore. Portions were solid and the food quality is alright. Sweetgreen would appeal to me more if they brought back pita bread to make wraps with and offered a better selection of dressings.

Great selection of fresh food and creative drinks, made to order salads. Cheap for the large portion and unique ingredients but moderate overall. A little hard to find a seat in the restaurant during lunch sometimes, but great to-go option. Very friendly staff. Eco-friendly containers.

Loved going here. Theres a wide variety of salads, soups, and drinks to choose from. That lentil-based soup was my favorite during the winter time. I miss this place a lot. Highly recommend.

Great salad and customer service as well. Salad is always fresh alongside with warm slice of bread. But if you dining in make sure you have foam ear plugs , the music is extremely loud!!!
