Ordered from here last night because it was late and we hadnt eaten yet. Ordered one of their specials, an XL 3 topping pizza with ten wings. I also ordered their 5 piece dark meat chicken. First, I wasnt 100% sold when I walked in. The pastel colors and general ambiance of the place dont say cafe and pizzeria in my opinion, but thats neither here nor there. As soon as we walked in, one of the people that I was with remarked about a strange smell. I smelled it as well, but I could not place what it was or where it was coming from it seemed like it was always there.also, while we were in there were getting ready to order, a homeless person approached me and asked for money. And the people working there didnt seem to find this odd at all. The situation itself made me uncomfortable, and it made me question the establishment itself On to the food: The XL pizza definitely lived up to its name. It was huge I normally eat 3-5 slices from most pizza establishments in one sitting. Today Im having a hard time finishing two. The cheese wasnt gooey or stringy like expected it to be which is strange because Im pretty sure it had to be made to order. Overall the pizza had a nice flavor to it though. The "buffalo wings" were... Interesting. The sauce was super thick and had a strong aroma to it. Hardly buffalo at all. In fact, both the people I was with remarked that it was... Ketchup. Im inclined to agree. The color and thickness of the sauce were consistent with ketchup. Idk what the sauce was, but it was NOT buffalo. With that being said, they did taste good and they were rather large. The dark meat platter was not bad. The pieces were huge. Someone I was with commented that the drumsticks looked like something you would get at the Renaissance Fair. They were fried and the flavor was most definitely there, but so was all of the grease. It didnt seem like they strained it well or at all. It bled through the wax paper that was in the container and looked like it wanted to go through the container itself The food was good enough for me to want to give it 4 stars. The experience makes me want to give it 2 stars. So Ill go with 3 stars for this visit.

Aquainting myself with this pizzeria, upon entering, one may feel the need to justify its "hole in the wall" facade as quaint or potentially unworthy of a prolonged visit. But the ruse hides some of the more bountifully sized pies, and expertly greased foods as compared to other pizza locales along Baltimore Ave. The value to taste profile is what should cause residential patrons to frequent this utter delight as often as their tummys cravings dictate.

West Philly is legendary for having terrible pizza. Locals try every place in vain hoping that this time it wont be awful. Penn Cafe is the only exception. Their pizza is always baked to perfection, with fresh toppings that taste great. In addition Ive had just about every breakfast item and theyre always top notch too. The burgers can sometimes be a little tough, but the chicken fingers are a huge bargain and always crunch and great.

Best "regular" pizza in the neighborhood. There are better fancy pizza places but this place is not that. This is just good, affordable pizza. Plus wings & salads & milkshakes & curly fries - pizza place stuff. The family who runs it is really nice and care about their customers. Just good food at a good price. P.S. I suggest you ask for your pie well done as they are a little "loose" for my tastes otherwise.

I did not have a menu I use to order from here a lot And I really wanted something from off the special menu and my representative was so great in helping me even though I would have confused and irritated anyone else she got my order right and I am waiting for it to come she also remembered me from before which made me smile

Ordered a cheese pizza - well it was just that, cheesy bread. No sauce. If you like cheesy bread then this your go to place. Also ordered a cheese steak, it was soggy from the cook not draining the oil. If you really want good pizza try Atlas only a few blocks up Baltimore avenue.

When I initially called the customer service was excellent. She took my order and gave me my total. She also said 30 to 45mins for delivery. I waited an hour I called back only for to tell me it will be done in 15mins and then leaving. Sorry unacceptable.

Horrible Service. ... The owner makes promises does not keep them and gets rude with customers.. The store is dirty and will be getting reported.. Have fun getting closed down for failing inspection

This place makes some of the best pizza Ive had since I moved to Philadelphia. Great pizza, great cheesesteaks, great service, friendly employees. My only problem is that I moved so far away!

Literally cardboard with barely any sauce and toppings were sparse. Not to mention the 2 bums sitting in the corner arguing loudly completed the experience. Never again!!!!

I tried the pizza here twice, and was very unimpressed both times. They popcorn chicken was fine. They will sell you pizza dough (a large) for $3.

Amazing stromboli and damn good pizza, rest of the menu is just okay, and no pork at all, so minus a star
