The service is incredibly slow. Friends of employees will come in while you are trying to order and distract the clerk behind the counter, sometimes for upwards of 10 minutes...showing pictures of dogs, or kids, or whatever, and gossiping. Meanwhile the toaster has jammed and the coffee maker is empty. And you may even be so lucky as to be asked, "Yo arent in a hurry, are you?" 20 minutes to get two bagels and two coffees. That was my last experience in the Naval Bagel in Arnold, MD. 20 minutes. Friends of the sole clerk kept walking in and distracting her. The bagels were cold and the coffee was luke-warm. There was another bagel shop in the same strip mall a year ago. It is gone because of poor customer service. I wonder how long it will take this Naval Bagel location to fall to the same problems. They hired the same people...it wont be long. Unless youre desperate for store-quality bagels served with a who-cares-about-you attitude, dont waste your time.

Naval Bagels is a great local shop that has the formula down. I dont like the chain places, and Naval Bagels is exactly the reason.. The bagels are delicious, they have lots of options, with homemade spreads, and other tasty treats. Naval Bagels doesnt complicate this equation. There is limited seating indoors and out, and it seems most people just stop by to pick something up. I walk here often (100s of times) and wait 5 minutes for my meal on average... all of these negative comments below sound like a few bad instances. The service I have experienced is friendly and to crowd expectations. Parking is abundant in the strip mall parking lot. Verdict: This is a top-notch spot to get Bagels in Annapolis. The outdoor seating is awesome in the spring and summer, but hard to get.

The best! The staff, always friendly. You can tell alot about a place by the way staff interaction is here, I walk in and in some cases my order has already been processed and started, they take their time to get to know their customers. They are warm and friendly and caring for their customers. The sandwiches, always great! Wide variety of sandwich options. Good organic sourced coffee from a local roaster, and they arent some giant chain like Einstein Bagels. They are local owned and operated. The owner is in there working with his staff, he gets it. He understands what makes America Great!

Have been going there for 15 years. Some years 150+ times, other years just a handful. Bagels are good. Coffee barely tolerable. Service spotty, depends on who is preparing your order. Recently they cant seem to get things right. Bye bye Naval Bagels I am going to a place where they actually listen to your request and take the time to prepare your order correctly.

An Annapolis staple!! Regular breakfast spot of mine for four years while attending USNA, and I make sure to get Naval Bagels every time I come back to the city. Bagel sandwiches are fantastic, as well as any bagel toasted with vegetable or olive cream cheeses. And there are plenty of different types of bagels!

The staff is extremely friendly, quick and efficient. The bagels are great and they have a wide variety. I like the playing card system they use too wait for you food. The food was packaged well and good. I didnt try an adventurous flavor on the visit but maybe next time!
