Ambiance /aesthetics of the restaurant are average at best; it lacks elegance and distinction. That is not a problem of course if food and service are outstanding, but that is not the case here. The service was adequate but our waiter was not knowledgeable about the menu (or food and beverages in general) and hence unable to make useful recommendations. If he was still in training, one would expect him to be accompanied by a more seasoned colleague - that would be the norm for a restaurant serving fare in this price range. One of our party ordered the sea bass (after reading rave reviews about it on Yelp - strange) and although it was served on top of a tasty broth, the fish itself was completely flavorless. The chef would be wise to pour that broth over the fish while cooking. The lobster bisque was highly mediocre (for a great lobster bisque, try A Different Pointe of View at Pointe Hilton), and the blue cheese in both the olives in my martini (brought to the table the first time with a lemon twist by the way, even though the cocktail menu specifically listed it as a blue-cheese stuffed olive martini) and as well on the wedge salad, was simply too pungent. Cheese that intense destroys enjoyment of other flavors. What can be done with blue cheese that is overpowering? Mix it with a milder cheese. But our overall impression was that no one is tasting the food before sending it out at Wildfish. And clearly no one is taking the time to fully develop the wait staff. * A note again regarding our waiter and the cocktails at this restaurant... Our server had clearly received little to no training and lacked even a basic familiarity with fine dining concepts. He actually offered to leave the martini with the lemon twist at our table and simply return with olives. And I had ordered it "slightly dirty!" LOL! Worse: the martini he did bring back, while bearing the correct garnish, was among the worst blue cheese olive martinis I have ever tasted. I will say that the lobster tail was good for Phoenix (difficult to find truly sweet, tender lobster here) but that alone is not enough to compensate for the myriad issues we experienced. For the price, I cant recommend this restaurant.

This is by far my favorite restaurant that Ive tried in the Phoenix area. I was looking for seafood and found this place in the Fashion Mall area and decided to give it a go. I sat around the bar area, and the waitress (Rachel I believe) was absolutely outstanding. She served me as soon as I sat down, and went over the menu thoroughly for the first-timer. I decided to try the Crab Cake appetizer as well as the Lobster Tacos w/ a side of the broccolini. Ill talk about the vegetable first. The broccolini was seasoned perfectly; just the right amount of salt and spice. The crab cake is what they are known for. Its not Maryland style, but its great all the same. All crab meat with barely enough breadcrumbs or filling to hold it together. Yet, the star of the show was the Lobster Tacos. 3oz of lobster meat, almost overflowing in the taco, seasoned perfectly and just melt in your mouth. I would highly recommend anyone to eat here. Staff was nice and I really enjoyed myself here.

Not quite fine dinning. However you wouldnt know it with the staffs appearance and knowledge of Food and drink. We had the privilege of dinning with Rachel. She is a lovely young lady who is always smiling. All while going above and beyond the call of duty. We achieved the Wow factor and beyond during our dinning experience. Shes a keeper. Damon the General Partner also stopped by to ensure that we had a great experience. The entire staff work as a team to ensure the quality of service is TOP NOTCH! EXTENSIVE WINE LIST. CRAB CAKES FOR AN APP ARE A MUST. SWORDFISH IS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD. ALTHOUGH THE BONE IN PRIME RIBEYE ADD SCAMPI IS PHENOMENAL. (NOT ON MENU HAVE TO ASK FOR IT) BANANAS FOSTERS FOR DESSERT. (CAREFUL THEY LIGHT IT ON FIRE) CANT SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT. JUST GO!!!!!

I like this place, and their seafood seems very fresh. Let me start by saying get the lobster bisque here, I literally still dream of it and it is one of the menu items that would rope me back in here. It is perfectly flavorful and savory, yet at the same time still maintains that lobster taste but creamy at the same time. Now as for the main course you cant go wrong with the Chilean Seabass, I mean it tastes like butter once you start eating it but it is made Hong Kong style and I am more of the fan of crispy outside and nice and buttery inside. The service was great, the calamari was just so so and another downside of this place is that it can get pretty pricey. But overall still some great seafood, and out in the middle of the desert too.

Excellent service, great atmosphere and delectable dishes. We were a bit early for dinner and given an option to sit near or around the bar area until dinner area was available. The manager then asked if we would like to go ahead and sit in the dinner area to accomidate. Our server Dillon was on point and checked on us periodically. The happy hour whiskey sour, crab cake and calamari appetizers were delicious and priced fair. Afterwards, we were treated with a complimentary hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream for celebrating our anniversary at WildFish. Thank you for making our dinner anniversary worth enjoying. I would recommend this establishment for great food, fair prices and excellent service.

Was in the mood for some seafood 6 oclock on a friday night. Saw this leave the mall after a movie. Only reason why I gave it 4 stars os because they only take reservations so we only got to sit at the bar. Luckily the 3 guys behind the bar we great! The lobster bisque with cognac is probably the best ive had in Arizona. If you havent had oysters before I recommend going here. Theu have oysters with fresh horseradish, cocktail sauce, lemon and amazing white wine vinegar with shallot juice. Definitely try this place out but call and make reservations before hand.

This is my favorite restaurant in Scottsdale. The fish is always so fresh and cooked to perfection. Oysters - perfection! Try the horseradish-carefully Sushi appetizer - interesting assortment - tasty and very eloquent on chilled glass plate Halibut - best of anywhere south of Canada Scallops - huge and overflowing with flavor Also worth mentioning is the bread! Even something so simple can be extrordinary. A perfect dining experince with only one exception. The waitress reached across two people to snag a unused fork after the oysters. It was comical!

I wouldnt know how the food was because we showed up with a party of about 12 people. We got there during happy hour and wanted to sit outside. For some reason, they wouldnt honor happy hour prices outside. We explained why we had to sit outside and asked if they could make an exception. They said no, so we went across the street to Kona Grill. The server was so upset at the manager because she just lost a party of 12. There were only 3 or 4 people in the entire place. But we had a great dinner and a great time at Kona Grill!!

In town for vacation, wanted a good seafood place. Food was delicious yet it seemed a little overpriced for what you get in terms of service and quality. Wait staff basically scoffed when we asked about the happy hour menu, and after we moved to the bar area to take advantage of some of the items on happy hour as well as their filet Oscar style entree, the second server was also a bit snobby. If Im going to spend good money on a nice meal at a fine establishment, the service better damn well match the price tag.
