I cannot even begin to explain how incredible our evening was at Ocean Prime.From the moment we walked in, the service from the hostess, service, and the owner, was nothing but friendly and inviting. Our server, Sean, was the best (seriously, request to sit in his section). The ambiance alone was enough to enjoy a night away from the kid. Everything was beautiful and enjoyable. The food (and drinks), well... all of it was AMAZING! We started off with a couple cocktails. First of all, their wine selection is exquisite. But, we opted for cocktails. My cosmopolitan with Titos vodka was so smooth and perfect (dangerous!). For the appetizer, we ordered the Point Judith Calamari, which was topped with peppers, sprouts, cashews, etc. The taste was wonderful, a sweet chili sauce. The calamari was perfectly cooked. For our entrees, I ordered the blackened swordfish and OH MY GOSH. I ate EVERYTHING off my plate, and if the restaurant wasnt so nice I may have even licked it. To prove my point, I can honestly say tomatoes are my absolute least favorite food, but I ate every single one that was included in the dish. They were delicious and the swordfish is indescribable. My husband ordered the NY Strip with roasted garlic and rosemary, which was the perfect accessory to the perfectly cooked steak. It was so tender (yes, I tried it!). Our side was the jalepeno au gratin and, again, there are NO words to describe the delightful flavor. Great jalepeno flavor, but no spice (for those who cant handle heat like my husband). Now to describe my dessert without drooling at my computer. Dare I say it was better than sex? Maybe not quite, but it was damn close! We ordered the 10 layer carrot cake. Need I say more? I highly highly highly recommend Ocean Prime to those wanting a wonderful night out with incredible food and service. Worth every dollar paid and mile driven!

Friday night date night -- My wife said "anything but a steakhouse" - So I thought seafood! We had never been here before - nor had even heard of it. I picked it on the basis of the yelp reviews - mostly positive. We showed up to an empty restaurant, on a Friday night at 6:30pm, this had me a little worried. Never eat in an empty restaurant, right? But we had our pick of any table - we picked a booth with a view of the fireplace/patio. WOW - a live band! How cool is that! The song selection was awesome. The artists put their touch on almost every song they sang, making for great entertainment. Our only disappointment (and the loss of a star) was the Seafood Platter/Tower - at almost $100 (Market Pricing) - I would have expected allot more. We have had these at most other places and this one just seemed "skimpy" on the amount of seafood. In the end - the restaurant was busy. People showed up. Band was lively. Overall we enjoyed our first experience at the restaurant. I liked that it wasnt super packed and the service was great.

This was our first time dining at Ocean Prime Phoenix and will be our last. We expected great seafood and left very disappointedvsc. The two of us had the Calamari appetizer, house salads, Yellowfin tuna and Chilean Sea Bass. The entire meal was $150.00 with no drinks. Ive had Tuna and Chilean Sea Bass on a number of occasions and the food here was poor at best. This food was simply OK and not at all the quality expected for the money spent. I was disappointed with the quality of the every dish in the meal. Pass on Ocean Prime if youre really into seafood and know what to expect from a top notch seafood restaurant! Disappointed in Phoenix.

Amazing food (if you want to taste it, GO!). Part of the thrill of Ocean Prime is the mystery. If you enjoy fresh, fabulous, seafood Noumea cuisine served by wonderfully knowledgeable and experimental chefs in an unpretentious, lovely ambiance, then you should definitely grab a ticket. If you dont like surprises, dont go... And youll miss out on a fantastic evening! BYOB! One of my favorite meals in AZ ever.

Reservation for 2 at 6:00 PM, showed up at 5:50. Waited until 8:35 to be seated. Had 2 very good drinks, and they were comped. Ordered salad, King Crab legs, and Lobster tails at 8:40. Salad showed up 40 mins later, followed by the main course 15 mins later. The salad was very good, but the King Crab was horrible, and the Lobster Tail was over cooked. Very disapointed in the food quality, and will not go back.

The drinks and apps are too good to be true. Berries & Bubbles all pink and, well, bubbly really makes you feel like a lady. The Prime Hour (their version of happy hour) menu is prefect for trying any and all of the apps. I fell in love with the Ahi Tuna Sliders. With the temps dropping in the Valley Ill be back for plenty of happy hours on the patio.

We had a FANTASTIC time eating here during Arizona restaurant week. Our service was great and the food was good. The GM, Tony, is an awesome guy! He went out of his way to help me find an old receipt my company required(months down the line after we had dined there). Excellent service from top to bottom!

First time at Ocean Prime and the one thing that turned me off was the lobster tail I ordered it was not fresh. The steak I ordered with the tail was excellent. The service was great. Will give it a second go next time in Phoenix because the place seems to be better than the one bad tail.

What a fabulous experience from beginning to end. Impeccable service, insanely incredible food and beautiful ambiance. We celebrated our anniversary with Ocean Prime. They treated us like Rockstars! A great place for a special occasion or happy hour. Cant wait to go back!

We make this our stop for valentines dinner. The service is great every time and the food is delicious. If going on a weekend, we recommend asking for Chad. If you are up for an adventure, pick your entrees to split and let Chad pair the wines.
