Took mom for dinner since she was in the mood for Peruvian. Start off nobody greeted us when we came in so we picked a table ourselves. The joint closes at 9pm we got there just after 7 and it looked like we were the only guests, it took the waitress almost 10 min before she acknowledged us and brought menus over. We selected lomo saltado and chupe de mariscos. It took them almosr 30 min to serve. The seafood in the chupe was super dry, definitely overcooked and salty as hell. We asked if they could get us a different dish since obviously my mom couldnt enjoy the dish she had been craving. We picked the roasted chicken breast. 15 min later my mom finally gets to eat. At this point its almost 8:30, it seems they are getting ready to close so we felt rushed. I asked for the check thinking Im gonna pay for 2 meals, to my surprise we get charged for all 3 dishes even though we sent one back. Tried explaining this to the waitress but she said "well you order 3 dishes so you should pay for all 3". Needless to say we wont be coming back. Horrible service. Terrible food. We felt robbed and the fact remains that from now on every time someone in my circle suggests Peruvian food i remember this bad experience and talk about it. So much for word of mouth advertising not just for this place but for every Peruvian joint in town.

i would give them a zero....i got there at 745 they locked the doors right after we came in when specifically they close at 9 pm. Im a chef and i know that all doors must be open to the public until 5 minutes after closing time. multiple families wanted to come in but they wouldnt let them in. my wife ordered an appetizer and her entree i was still looking at the menu, when they brought her food i wanted to order but she told me the kitchen was closed....it was 820 pm 40 minutes before closing. they denied me service because their cooks are lazy ass people who cant work a 9 hour shift to save their lives. i am peruvian and i am pissed at how they treated me, one of their people. i didnt even get to taste the food and sure as hell never will. if you decide to go, go 4-5 hours before closing so that they will have to cook you food.

El ROCOTO Every single time i have been there, of course craving their delicious dishes.... I truly have a hard time deciding which one to pick. They are the best!!! ❤️ Their service is outstanding, they make sure you will leave with the thought of coming back! This service has been the same ever since we started going there! I will recommend this awesome restaurant! They have a great Chef! Delicious food! If you are Homesick for our Precious Perú, stop there and you will feel so at home! I do wish them the best and thank them for their outstanding food and service. Anita Maraví 05/07/2016

Very good food. Always been a good experience except for this last time. We dined in and took left overs. It was only later when we went to re heat our take out that we I noticed a large piece of plastic in one of the containers. It looked like a type of plastic seal from a sauce bottle but it was melted a bit from the restaurant cooking. We called not to complain but to let them know it was in the food and to be careful. The guy on the phone only said ok. Ok. Ok. No sorry. No nothing. Good food, just check it before you eat it because they obviously dont care.

We love the taste of the family chicken with potatoes, salad and the Inka Cola meal.... but they made changes, They raised the price to $31!! And it doesnt include the soda no more! (It used to) (I am told they change the owners) still the chicken was very delicious, flavory and perfect!!. But now we finish paying $60 dollars ( before we paid less than 35 dollars for everything). The place its ok. But the food its good! Love Peruvian gastronomy.

Pedi una Papa a la Huancaina. No tenia aji peruano. Sin aji nativo, no te sale ningun plato peruano. La atencion es muy buena, son muy amables. Los cocineros son del Centro.

Used to have a great stuffed peppers, Rocoto Relleno. They changed the recipe. Less cheese now. They have a casserole-type potatoes and egg as a main size is now with cut up hotdogs instead of sausage. It was burnt and rock hard on the edge. Cold in the middle though. It was a little disappointing.

“A lovely downtown spot” This restaurant was not on our radar but we ended up there one afternoon after we couldnt find the place we were looking for...and had a terrific lunch, excellent wine, fine service in a very attractive setting. Next time we will go to Bambara on purpose!
