So my family and i had planned a very larger party, with about 200 guests and we decided to get our food catered from Pak-Afghan, because we had eaten their food at various parties and we thought that it was delicious. Naturally, my mother was worried about everything. But the restaurant handled everything beautifully. there was a perfect amount of food, and every body loved it. They took care of everything and made sure that the party ran smoothly. Why, the caterers even stayed afterwards to help clean up! If you need any party catered, i would definitely recommend Pak-Afghan, for great Pakistani food.

The three stars are due to the fact that we ordered the mix special, the hostess/waitress came back three times to tell us what we ordered was not available. If you do not have something available, why hand the customer the menu with those items listed. The food that we were able to order and get was good. The service provided by the hostess/waitress was prompt and decent. I may be willing to go back given that I am able to get what I order.

The food is very good. The service not so much. I walked in and the server young guy told me to sit anywhere. After I sat about 20 mins before I was given a menu, not because it was packed(2 other tables of 2). Once the lady saw me she gave me the menu and I ordered right away. The food came out in about 15 mins and was very delicious. I would go back if im in town but I recommend ordering ahead just in case.

I cant recall how many times Ive been here. When Im craving Pakistani food, this is the place I frequent. It was surprising to see Chinese fried rice at the buffet this Sunday and it was quite delicious. The nihari, paya, mushroom chicken, chicken karahi all tasted great with their own unique flavor. We also had halwa with fresh poori and fresh naan. Everything tasted great, as always.

I dont eat meat and I got the Afghani eggplant dish: the banjan. So delicious!! I got it with the naan which was wonderful and also tried it with rice because my boyfriend had some extra. Also great! The staff was sweet and conversational and the food was prepared quickly. Thanks for the greet experience! Im looking forward to going back and also having a look around the store next door.

As refugees from The Flavor of India closing we were very happy. Having booked via open table after several other friends recommended this restaurant, we were not disappointed. Of all of the superficial, its one could make the best part was the meets were chunky and robust the flavoring tasty. The host and staff extremely welcoming we will come back again

We came from Sedona where we spent a wonderful week and wanted to have a nice lunch / dinner. We found Hilal grill on google and so glad we did. Its really family accommodating. The owner talked with us and seemed like really nice guy. The food was outstanding, and we did not wait to long for the food to arrive. All in all, a great restaurant.

This is not a place where youd take your date to impress. However if you want great tasting food this no frills place has a lot to offer. Best day to try it out is perhaps a Sunday when they have a buffet all day. With so many things to offer you can try lots. I recommend it. If you havent been here, you wont be disappointed.

I am frequent traveller to phoenix and i will make sure one meal i should have at this restaurant. Excellent home made food. And no compramise on taste. I am living in dallas for the past 10 years but very very rare i found this kind of taste. I highly recommend to give a try atleast once.

The customer service was amazing. They went above and beyond to make sure everything was to accordance. The food was also amazing. The fish tikka masla and vegetarian curry were delicious. Their naan was really really good too! All together great experience and the prices are reasonable.

Loved their paratha naan! Every time I come to phoenix I eat here for once at least. Highly recommended food especially for people visiting Phoenix like me and dont know about the place much. Guys this is the place you should start with and then keep trying other places.

Cool Pakistani restaurant. The server was short and didnt seem to friendly. But the food was pretty good. Had this crazy red curry chicken stuff you could dink pita bread in. That stuff was bomb. Had this rice of some sort, wasnt for me. Fun to try new ethnic foods tho.

I couldnt order exactly what I wanted on my plate, all I wanted was 2 different samosas on one plate because it was my first time there and wanted to have both to see which I liked, beef or chicken, but the sever denied me. Great food but I hoped they had options.

A hidden favorite. This family owned restaurant that makes delicious meals for a very reasonable price. They are just north of McDowell on 40th street. We order and pick up on the way home from work. Definitely worth trying out if youre in this area.

All are either fake or paid reviews. Worst restaurant for lunch buffet and not even worth for the money. Only deserts were good and their complementary green tea. Except that this place is real bad and quality of meat taste of food is really bad

Food is delicious I went there two days in a row. If only the waiter would check on the people at least once during the meal itd be a 5. I went there last night and today. The guy is nice, but come on check on your customers.

Modest exterior, but amazing once inside. Staff is nice. Though the food steals the show. Lots of options for vegetarians. Naam is yummy. Lots of positives. Go there if you want yummy filling food at a good price.

Food is amazing here. The samosas were some of the best Ive had, the butter chicken and naan were outstanding. Ignore the lack of ambiance/decor...the food here is too good to miss.

Best paki food in the country! Came from the bay (the home of the best pakistani food) but i got to say this place beats anything in the Bay by a Mile! Would recommend for sure!

Way good. The place looks a little sketchy from outside, but the inside is nice and filled with delicious smells. The naan was unforgettable and the Tikki Masala was awesome!

Excellent Sunday buffet with tons of choices. Tasty food, but kind of hard to find as it is tucked away behind a small grocery store. Were so happy we found it.

A great casual restaurant, right next door to Zam Zam World Market. They have Pakistani and some Afghan dishes. I recommend giving the desserts a try (so good!).
