I am from CA and had gone to this place for groceries. The items were really really overpriced compared to CA. I saw some items which were like twice the cost. And add to that, the rudeness, my god. Since the packed frozen rotis did not have an expiry date on them, I asked the guy at the counter if they are fresh. He looked at me with an irritated look and says I did not make them. So, only if you want to buy overprices items and get yourself insulted, go here. Not to forget, the receipt that he gave was not itemized, everything was just "Grocery". Even if it was a rice or soap or cheeze, it was listed as Grocery. Surely a way to make sure that the customer cannot do a check at home as to what item was at what price. Never going again and will let all my friends also know about this.

Jelibi was good and allo tikki chaat was yummy!! Thats about it. My friend got Samosas and she loved them!! Snail speed service and the cashier didnt care that we were still ordering..sees a regular customer walk in and immediately gives his attention to him..not only that but also takes his order and processes his transaction....not so thrilled about that!!! If you want to get tasty food and can ignore the service ,this is a decent place for desi dishes. Or even better just call and order!!

MY FAVORITE INDIAN FOOD PLACE in phoenix!!!! I was so happy to find this place. Great little hole in the wall kind of place. A Grocery store so if you are into cooking your own indian food, great place to get all supplies. The spices are a great price, you can purchase paneer frozen in large or small quantities. And the restaurant is FABULOUS! great food, great prices and great service. I always love an owner/operator kind of establishment, and this is right on the money. Love it!

Rude, irritated owner of the restaurant. Treats a paying customer as if he is some homeless man begging for food. Tasteless food. If you go close to the closing time, the staff will come out in the dining area with their personal belongings, start backing up their bags and bring their bikes (yes bicycle) inside the dining area to get ready to leave for home. And this was atleast 15 min before the official closing time of the restaurant.

This is the most horrible, unhygienic place to ever eat anything. Staff doesnt care and manager/owner whosoever is at the counter was super rude and ignorant. I would have given it 0 or perhaps negative rating if google allows.. this was my first and last mistake to try this horrible restaurant and if you care slightest about your health and hard earned money then just dont even think of giving it a try..

Best authentic indian food in Phoenix. Dont bother with the other reviews on here Ill tell you the real deal. This isnt a pretentious high class restaurant, its in the back of a grocery store, but with that said if you want the best palaak paneer or mango lassi come here. You always feel like family here and will leave feeling satisfied but wanting more.

So surprised and disappointed! Went there for lunch today to discover that their buffet has been discontinued. Combo plates (with various options, such as veg, non-veg, etc), along with their regular menu items, and delicious chaat menu are available. Theres some true hidden gems on both of those menus and the portions are large, so its not a total bust.

Great lunch buffet. Improvements have been made over the past 6 months. It was good before, now its even better. The staff always (especially the hostess named "Beautiful") welcomes me with a smile. The grocery sells vacuum sealed mixes - just add a cooked meat and BAM, great for camping.

It used to be great but now they have changed the restaurant side alot. Own you can be on and out with ok Indian food in 5 minutes. The shop side still has good options for when youre looking for Indian spices, canned foods, or any other pots, pans, pictures, etc. You might be looking for.

I like the grocery section of this place. I can easily say that the restaurant has gone down a bit in terms of quality of food. I have been going to this place from the time they started the restaurant. The owners are good, but the wait staff does seem to be rude sometimes.

Wow! I have been driving by on my way to work for a long time. Today I tried it! Excellent food (I had the buffet) and excellent service. Very clean. Friendly. Just awesome...everything I tried was superb. Highly recommend it. I will go back without hesitation!

The sugar cane juice sold in this place is completely worthless. Over priced at $4.99 per glass, it tasted like brown sugar mixed in water. Do not expect anything close to what you might get in India. This place makes excellent jilebi & still the best in the town.

Overpriced. Coconut which is available in Walmart($0.87) they are charging $1.99. Same with other stuff. Holi Gulal which costs $1.49 in other stores - i had to pay $2.99. Worst they charge you transaction charges when using credit card. Avoid this place.

Low-key, unassuming Indian food buffet. Enjoy your butter chicken over basmati rice, while enjoying classic Bollywood music videos. Restaurant is also attached to Indian grocery store, which conveniently also has a collection of killer Bollywood DVDs.

Great Samosa ever! They have great India selection from Rice to spice. They also have a small section of grocery shopping. But you must try their Samosa! The best I ever had so far. Always looking for Samosa but this is the best one I had in my life!

Their Jalebis are good. Other stuff is alright. Deli isnt that great. I felt it was pricier than some other Indian stores. Plus its so irritating when they keep asking you to use cash instead of Credit Card.

Great food, cheap to go buffet weighed out by the lb. Decor could go for an update, but really, what authentic ethnic cuisine restaurant has 5 star decor? I go here for my Indian food fix in central Phoenix.

I found almost everything I was looking for here. However, the place seems to have marked up every item by a dollar or two. But thats understandable considering it does not have much competition in the area.

I am totally disappointed about their service. Staffs are very rude and food are not healthy. They use lot of spices, that are not needed. Otherwise they are not willing to help people!!!!!

This was some of the most watered down, tasteless indian food I have ever had. Ate at lunch buffet for 7.99. Overall disappointed. Would not revisit.

Great place to stock up on Indian cuisine, prepared or grocery. I have my favorites, and we keep going back. Parking is sufficient but not well-lit.
