I really liked this store. But today i was rudely approached by an employee telling me to "pick up after myself." Because there was an item on the floor before i was their. Clearly this is a discriminating workplace. This lady rudely excused me off "making a mess" in the store like im some disrespectful middle school kid when im actually a respectful highschool graduate. Im extremely offended by this workplace and do not feel comfortable shopping at this store anymore. Im sorry one employee ruined my shopping experience because i actually really like this store. But i will not support a place with my money that discriminates me because of my younger appearance. This employee could have easily taken this situation much more respectively and i would have even picked up the item for her if she would have just said "excuse me sir do you mind picking that up if you dropped it please?". But she failed to do so and decided to treat me like scum. Customer service? Not in this store.

I do not know what happened to this store. My wife and I have shopped there since it opened. We used to be able to find EVERYTHING we needed. One stop shopping and great prices. Now the store is going down hill. There are many items that are no longer carried. What is worse is what they do still carry many times is out of stock especially if it is on sale!! The quality of meats and produce is sliding. The new deli manager has all the deli people on edge and upset. So now I am back to having to go to several stores instead of mejier to shop. What happened?????

I like the selection and location of the store. The prices are moderate, in line with the area. I shop here often. I find the staff often slow and grumbling. On multiple occasions they have complained about their jobs and even other customers in the store. All while slowly processing my order. And if there is a technical problem with a register or something else, you can expect to wait, and wait some more. This has happened to me a couple of times in the past year. Still they have most everything I want to buy, great selection.

I have to admit, I was never a big Meijer fan until the store in Mokena opened! Very clean, well organized, excellent selection with a very helpful and friendly customer service focus. The Produce section is especially impressive with nearly everything being farm fresh. The prices are competitive and if you become a regular shopper, you cant go wrong with the MPerks app that allows you to virtually clip and save coupons as well as specials.

Great staff (minus the a-hole store manager) and one of the better organized Meijers in the area. Well sadly fast forward a few months my rating was adjusted down. Working in agriculture tends to get one dirty and unfortunately Meijer security seems to think dirt defines character. In any event using out of shape security thugs is bad policy for any retailer. Go hire some professionals before you get sued or someone gets hurt.

Customer service is poor at the customer service desk go figure. Also waited at the deli only person there 3 employees behind the cpunter and they acted like no one was there. Had to ask a manger who was walking by for help. The ladies behind the counter did not like it and were very rude. If i could give them negative stars I would. Guess it is back to Jewel.

Since Meijers Mokena, IL location has opened they have made many changes. Of the changes made, some are the quality of products offered, as well as the amount of employees at the Deli counter. I use to do the majority of my purchases at the location but have decided to use different store chains that carry better quality Deli, Meat and Bakery items.

Two of 10 for 10 sale items I wanted (Meijer pasta and Boston Baked beans )were completely wiped out on the shelfs. I waited for staff to restock the pasta but left waiting for the beans. If you are going to have these type of sales be prepared to restock as well as put them on end caps. Getting very frustrated with your store.

Meier seems to be a glorified wal-mart. I do think the staff at Meier is friendlier and more helpful than Wal Mart but its a huge warehouse type building with everything from bedding to milk. Loyalty cards, sales, the works - truly a one stop shop.

Love their sales and clearance items !! One stop shop for groceries, textiles, household goods, even clothes !! I bought good, guality jeans here on clearance for only $7 - unbeatable !! Cashier could be a little nicer though.

Everyone is to slow. Only 2 girls working in the deli on a Saturday . Only 2 people ahead of me and I still had to wait 20 minutes. Even the cashier was slow. If youre pressed for time dont go to Meijer in Mokena.

It is a goid place to stop for a all-inone grocery experience and the mPerks deals comes in handy. So far, even without updating my mPerks coupon clipping online, I have saved over $360 this year.

A better discounted for groceries and general merchandise than walmart. To me it is worth the drive, some of the employees could use an attitude adjustment though while working with the public.

Clean with a friendly staff...when you can find them. Thats the only reason I have 4 stars instead of 5. Having to walk around for 10 minutes to find an employee to assist is a bit daunting.
