I was a frequent visitor to this restaurant. For the last few visits we have been noticing that the quality of food and customer service is gone down the drain. I visited this restaurant yesterday along with my family. We ordered appetizers, drinks and regular meal. The appetizers that were served was so cold that it appeared to have been taken out of the freezer. The samosa and the tikki which was part of it was half baked. Then came the regular meal. The meal was served but we had to wait for 10 mts before we could keep chasing the waiter to provide us with plates to eat the food. We realized that all the naan were half baked and the naan base was sticking to the hands. We called the waiter and showed him the naan, he agreed that the naan has not been baked properly. He agreed to replace them with new ones. We were kept waiting for more than 15 mts and then came the naan. They were the same naan, just that they applied some butter on top of it. When we showed that to the waiter that they are still not fully baked and the base is still sticking to the hand, he started arguing with me. I also mentioned that we have still not been served with our drink order, which was supposed to be served first. The waiter just kept arguing and showed reluctance to change the naan. We decided to walk out without eating. TO MY UTTER SURPRISE THE LADY OWNER MS. SAILAJA SETTY WAS PRESENT THERE AND WATCHING EVERYTHING AND SHE DID NOT FEEL IMPORTANT TO INTERVENE IN THE MATTER. What a Management! If this is the attitude of the Owner of the business and the waiters then I would suggest stay away from it. There are lot of other options available I will never repeat again and also make sure my friends and family members are aware of this attitude.

We visited for weekend buffets mostly as we dont live close by. The food is always super excellent and yummy. There is a wide variety of veg and non-veg options at the buffet. Most times there is both mutton and chicken biryani. Last week there was also fish fry, delish! The food tastes like stepping into a friends kitchen. Not overly greasy or such low quality. Please, keep up the good work and high standards. The buffet is kept clean and with fresh foods. This restaurant management is doing an excellent job. The wait staff are very helpful and quick in cleaning up dirty dishes also. We appreciate you! This is our favorite Indian restaurant in Massachusetts.

I dont like it. I mean, I guess its ok, but Ive had indian food thats much better. If eating at Mayuri had been my first experience ever with indian food, I would never have tried indian food again. I mean, the food there is terrible, and the managers daughter gets in the way of customers. Also, shes unfriendly and she sneered at my daughter as we walked in.Also, pretty overpriced. I mean I ordered a dish, and there was barely anything in it, but they charged almost 10 dollars for the dish. I would never recommend this restaurant as their customer service is poor, the food is overpriced, and the food is terrible.

I chose to head here because the other two in the location - Dharani & Masala Cafe have lost it. But was absolutely disappointed with the quality of service as well as the quality of food. How could a restaurant specializing in south indian get Idli wrong? Pathetic describes it the least. Dosa was rubbery. The aaloo masala for 1 poori was a kadai full for portion and not edible. If this goes for the main dishes, need I say more about the sambar or chutney. Definitely Im at a point of no return to this place and would not recommend this place.

I ordered food for a birthday party and they delivered stale rasmalai (sweets). The owner Ramana is an extremely rude person and said that the taste is as it should be and that me and my guests dont know the taste of rasamalai..... He began boasting of being the best restaurant, raised his voice numerous times to prove his point and said he does not care for my feedback... Overall very bad experience and would refrain from going there again.

Food is the best south Indian you get in the entire greater Boston area. But, its crowded on Friday through Sunday. Buffet menu is constant. Mon through Thursday you see not so great food. Better avoid on weekdays. Update 04/2016. These ppl really need to step up to the competition. The looks are outdated, broken booths, food not so great nowadays. Weekdays are deserted and food is not fresh. Avoid dinners n weekdays.

I like this restaurant for its lunch buffets varieties for both vegetarian and non vegetarian stuff The foods taste will make you come for next round for sure Though the place and ambience is bit cranky, the food compensates for it I would recommend this place if you are craving for authentic South Indian lunch buffet with eclectic taste buds

This is honestly my favorite Indian restaurant in the area. No one can beat Mayuri especially their chicken biryani which is the best dish from the restaurant. Will definitely recommend for lunch buffet and take out. Can get busy at lunch especially on weekends. Good array of dishes especially in buffet. Definitely will come back next time.

The food here is the most consistent of all the Indian restaurants around. The lunch buffet is great, food is really fresh and tasty considering that it is served in a buffet. Service is casual, but very attentive and not intrusive in any way. I highly recommend everyone to try their goat biryani or chicken biryani, they are really good!!

My co-workers and I frequent this restaurant for lunch. Their chicken and veggie dishes are delicious. Occasionally they also serve a goat dish which is my favorite. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, give this restaurant a try. They just opened their second restaurant with the same name in Acton, MA in Nagog park.

Great reasonably priced lunch buffet. Vegetarian and meat eaters will both find plenty of choices. Staff are friendly and will get you fresh servings of what you have at buffet need freshening. Located in strip mall in Westborough this is the better choice of the other buffet place in Westborough on Rt 9

Make sure you check your order before you leave the restaurant if possible. They mess up the order lot of times, especially if you are ordering spl naans, boneless biryanis. They are always used to give plain naan, regular bone in biryani. Food is tasty..thts why 3 stars.

Food is good. We come here often for lunch during weekdays. Their lunch buffet selection is definitely one of the richer ones compared to other Indian restaurants in the area. They have good selection for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.

Its a good place for Indian food. But same menu from last couple of years. It has become boring, now don’t like to go much there. If they can modify , their menu and flavor then we might start going again. We still go but very occasionally.

Lamb roast was disappointing because it was neither dry (I expected it to be like tandoori) nor wet. Saag paneer was tasty when it finally came out after I had to ask for it, along with my garlic naan. Service is pretty miserable!
