Great Indian food is my favorite thing to eat at home or on the road. I have been to Indian restaurants from San Francisco to Florida and this one is definitely at the top of my list. A while back I needed 2 gallons of their Palak soup for a soup pot luck and called them at the last minute to see if they could put it together. This soup takes a lot of prep and they totally took care of me. The chefs here are top notch and the owners make you feel like family. Try everything (especially the Palak soup) you cant go wrong.

Clean, professional, attentive and friendly. They didnt believe I wanted my lamb rojan josh as spicy as I did, but they happily took it back to the kitchen to spice it up a bit more. I had three staff check back to make sure they got it right and the owner even came out to visit. They were able to burn me up without messing with the delicate flavor of the dish. And now here I am at home, system BURNING UP ON FIRE OUCH! Just how I love it... :)

Favorite restaurant in all of bountiful. My entire family loves this restaurant. We have not tried a dish we didnt like. Large selection (large vegan and vegetarian options as well). Authentic Indian Cuisines. The seating area is simple but comfortable. The staff has always been great. The owner has become a family friend. Just wonderful all around. You will not be disappointed by the food. Take out is always great and orders are always accurate.

I hate the reviews that start out with "Ok for Utah, but..." So lame. I have eaten Indian food on both coasts, in big cities (NYC, DC, Palo Alto, etc.) and hole-in-the-walls in-between (lived in Omaha). I love Royal India. I havent ever been to India, so I cant say how authentic it is, but Royal India is my favorite. Service is awesome. So glad to see this restaurant surviving (hopefully thriving) on main street in Bountiful.

While the interior and building are nothing to shout about, we eat here frequently because the food is outstanding and the service is attentive and excellent. Even the owner is out and about, helping customers and clearing tables when needed. The price point is fair in my opinion because I really like the food. Favorite dishes include Lamb Rojan Josh and Chicken Coconut Kurma. Always have to have the naan and a mango lassi!

EXCELLENT food! I spent a couple of weeks in India, and this is about the closest thing I have experienced to real Indian food here in the US. There is a particular dish I am fond of (jalfrezi) that is not on their menu, but the cook knows how to make it and will prepare it for me! My only complaint is that they are only open for dinner. If they opened for a lunch buffet, I would probably be there every day!

Food was ok. Dining room was clean and attractive. However, $15 a plate is outrageous, plus naan and a drink pushes me over $20. Most places are significantly less expensive. The staff was a little pushy to get me fed and out of there. Also, I ordered spicy, not kinda warm. I think the rice was plain white rice, not basmati or jasmine. I wont visit again.

A hidden gem in Old Bountiful. I am almost regretting writing a post about this place because I dont want the secret to get out! Royal India is EVERYTHING for Davis County folk!! The food is so delish! Butter chicken is a must try! Aloo mutter is my favorite dish....but you cant go wrong with anything that is on the menu! The servers are amazing!

Love the Chicken Tikka Masala. My wife and I eat here quite regularly, and love the Chicken Tikka Masala. If were out on a date, we typically find ourselves here. The service is friendly and good; the atmosphere is so-so. Prices are fair: probably on the pricey side if your kids dont like it, but well worth it for the yumminess.

This is hands down my favorite restaurant. Me and my boyfriend go all the time. The service is great and the food is so delicious. Plus they give special deals and coupons when we go. We always try and get something different when we go and they never disappoint with how fantastic it is. I recommend this place to everyone!

Bland, bland, bland and bland. Nice service, but that doesnt make up for the blandess of the food. If you are used to eating PB&Js for every meal, this place would be amazing. But if you have ever been out of the country (or state) and had real Indian food, Bountiful Royal India would not meet your expectations.

This place is so good! Their chicken tikka masala is delicious, their naan is HUGE and delicious as well. Everything Ive tried (tasting off of friends orders) is really good as well. The actual restaurant itself is not the most high end of pretty, but I care way more about the food than the decor :)

Great Indian food. I highly recommend the Lamb Vindaloo, Shrimp Coconut Kurma, Chicken Tiki Masala and Peshwari Naan. Service is inconsistent but they always make an effort. Atmosphere is pretty much nonexistent, so just go there for some good food and you won’t be disappointed.

Excellent food. The service is pretty good and atmosphere is nice as well. The currys are the best part of the place with the bread. It can get a little busy on weekends, but is worth a little waiting time. Hits the spot for some good Indian though, for sure!

Amazing food and amazing service. Recommended by my friends from India, I have not had anything there I didnt like. I like hot food but I usually go with medium, when they say hot they mean it. Great place to take the family, very authentic Indian food.

Great food, reasonable prices. Its too loud for comfortable conversation in the dining room. Its like the clientele thinks that theyre eating at a fast food place. My wife and I will get it next time. We east here once or twice a month.

The food was good. It wasnt like any other indian food I have ever had, but the taste was close enough that I am sure I was still in an indian food resturant. The price was a little higher than I expected, but the service was good.

Great Indian food, which surprised us a little here in Utah! Being from California originally, and having had Utah "Mexican" food, I didnt expect much. This place has lots of delicious options. Never too crowded and good service.

Excellent food, and the mango lassi was delicious. The service was great, they even gave us a free order of naan when we left. I was so impressed with the service I tipped them 25%, I will continue to eat here as long as I live.
