Had lamb biriyani. Did I spell that right? Extra spicy. It was spicy. More rice than lamb but flavorful. Honestly, why is lamb such an expensive meat? Those things eat everything and cant possibly be worth more than beef and chicken... My youngest had chicken korma. More chicken than korma. Mild. Nice but the chicken was dry and there were no golden raisins. There were a few cashews so it was exotic. We had a veggie dumpling thing battered in chickpea flour and deep fried with that tamarind and mint chutney stuff they do. Solid and my middles favorite. The water was pure and clear with cubed ice. The bathrooms were clean with hot water. Theyve been there two years and will be at least another two if I have anything to do with it. Nice little dining room with booths and tables. Excellent service and all the waiters are named "Manish." I give it four out of five stars and will make this a regular go-you when I want Indian food. You should, too!

Our Friends from Provo came up to "go to dinner tonight" and we somehow got onto the topic of "spicy".... We decided to take them to Everest C.K. and were very happy we did... Mary had the Chicken Curry, Stacy had the Lamb Curry, I had Chicken Tikka Masala and Ron had Lamb (something I need to look a the menu to remember) with a two appetizers and a cheese and garlic naan. The service is great for a family owned restaurant, the atmosphere is typical Strip Mall restaurant... but the Food is AMAZING. Five stars for the quality of the food... Great dinner! Update: 6/9/2017 Last night we went back for Take-out. Called there and ordered Meat Samosa, 2 Chicken Tika Masala and two Garlic Naan. Picked it up 20 minutes later and ate at home. STILL 5 STARS!

Every item at the lunch buffet was tasty and exceeded my expectations for a restaurant with low prices, located in a strip mall. I’d be fine with a higher price for the buffet, allowing them to offer more vegetarian items, and higher quality. Not that there seemed anything wrong with their food quality, but I rarely eat out and if I do I want good, fresh food, and with Indian food, I love the variety of flavors. I’m willing to pay more for more. The service had few smiles; otherwise it was fine. The water was refilled, plates taken away. I’d rather have surly service and tasty food, than bad food and all smiles. If I’m back in the SLC area I would go there again gladly.

Great! My father is an old guard, deaf, set in his ways fellow who will take me anywhere for my birthday. (The only spice is salt kind of person) So, I usually take the opportunity to try to expand his palate for my birthday dinner. Needless to say, he was very wary. He snarfed it. If my thought it was good, and I though tit was authentic, you know its A+! 6 people were stuffed like goats with lassis, appetizers, and currys and lots to take home for the next day for less than 20$/per person. Its great that my husband and I can go back on a date and probably both eat for 20$. Sooooo yummy!

We have been here about 15 times since they opened and we LOVE them!! Best Indian food in SLC, hands down. Were the kind of people that prefer an Indian restaurant to keeps their fancy linens and ambiance if it means more authentic tasting Indian/Nepalese dishes. We just moved here and were disappointed by other Indian restaurants food and portions. We were elated when we finally found an awesome chana masala!!! Their lunch buffet is yummy at a great price! The staff is SUPER kind and helpful! They are great with my 3 year old and never charge us for his buffet plate. Again, LOVE them!!!

Buffet: Excellent. Dinner: Excellent. Bread: Excellent. The buffet is small, but every dish is well prepared, and they all seem to be replenished frequently... rather that sitting out for hours because there are a hundred mediocre items to keep up with like many buffets. For dinner on another visit, I had ginger, garlic, and coconut milk spicy cubed pork over rice. It tasted wonderful, the waiter was attentive, the place was spotless, and the food (which Id asked to be 8/10 spiciness wise,) was some of the most flavorful Ive ever had, while being sufficiently hot.

Everest is amazing. I cant recommend the buffet too highly, its Indian food until youre stuffed for an insanely low price. Ordering entrees off the menu is really the way to go though. There are some amazing dishes on the menu that arent on the buffet and in the many times Ive been there, Ive yet to get anything that wasnt amazing. Whatever you get, be certain to get an order of the sweet naan bread. It has honey and dates (I think theyre dates) and I dont know what else, but its amazing and cheap; a single order feeds my wife and I with no problems.

I picked this place out based on the proximity and walking distance from my house. Quite empty on a Friday night around 6pm. Seriously the best Korma Ive ever had in my life! The Kheer was also delicious. The service was excellent -- almost overly courteous. Immaculately clean, good atmosphere, and the music really added to the ambiance. Korma entree+Beer+Kheer was less than $20!!! And I was full. Ive already recommended this place to many friends and will continue to frequent.

Vegetable lentils soup tasted like sour tomato puree, chicken biryani was a mix of Chinese schezwan rice and minced tandoori chicken. .and thereafter a supposedly mango ice cream which had a lot of freezer frost crunch in it..not mentioning the fungified coconut shavings. ... I threw up in their restroom. To top it, the manager said the food was absolutely fine. .Im out of here never to return

My goodness, guys I had zero expectations but i was craving something, good, and, different. My husband and I got Keema Naan, Chicken Curry, and Everest Lamb. All of it was sooooo good, but the Everest Lamb was phenomenal! Seriously killer-good stuff! I got the medium-its fairly spicy, I had to drink lots of water but "Wow" it was GOOD, You gotta try it!!!

They are very nice, but we had almost more disappointment than positive feedback to give. The portions are extremely small for the price. We realize that they were short staffed, but the service was horribly slow. It took 20 minutes of sitting before we even got water and our order taken. Food was great for what it was, but we probably wont return.

Been going to India house for years and was hesitant to try another place due to poor experience elsewhere. After trying everest I will definitely reconsider going to India house. It is still very good but everest is much better Id say!! Meat is a lot more tender, and their Naan is to die for!

One of the good Indian flavours, I loved the Shrimp pakoda and Chicken tandoori(similar to grilled chicken) with true Indian flavours. I did not like the Chicken chilli as it had so much of tomato puree(thats why 4 stars). Staff are amazing and service is perfect.

Good service, food, and atmosphere. The place is surprisingly clean and well kept. We ordered a couple dishes and of course some delicious garlic naan. They were very good. The server was prompt and the food was out timely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.
