This used to be my favorite Thai food place and I would order to-go food from this restaurant pretty often. On this occasion, I ordered the summer rolls, coconut soup, and the Panang curry chicken. I ordered the soup and the chicken both mild as my dinner guests do not like spicy food. I myself do not mind spicy foods. I checked the order in my car to make sure all the items were present and they were so I was relieved. I brought the food all the way home and we started digging in. The summer rolls and the soup were both delicious as usual but the Panang curry was so spicy we could not even eat it. I called the restaurant and she said they would make a new one. She was very adamant about me brining the original dish back, which I had no problem with since it was too spicy to even eat. I drove all the way back and handed over the original food. The lady in the kitchen was very unhappy and rude that she had to remake the dish but instead of throwing my original food away she took it back and set it on the kitchen line. Now being that I was a server and bartender for over 10 years, I know this is not the typical practice nor sanitary so I watched what became of the food. She kept looking over at me and finally took the food into the back somewhere. She brought it back moments later and they handed it to me to take home. I opened it right there in front of them and it looked so soupy. I did not see any new dish being made so I can only believe that she added water and god knows what else to the original Panang curry. At this point, I had had enough rudeness and poor customer service so I handed the bag back and asked for a refund. They could have just remade the dish the right way but instead they lost customers over an $11 dish. Very disappointing to say the least.

RIP GOOD TABLE SERVICE AND CUSTOMER APPRECIATION I had a hankering for squid salad from what used to be an old haunt, since re located and re packaged as busy hipster spot. The once attentive table service and calm atmosphere is GONE. I entered as a single diner, which Ive done numerous times over years, but today I was made to feel unwelcome and awkward. I ordered a drink that was presented to a couple at the table next to me, and as I looked to the server to make eye contact with me, so she could ask if the drink was for me instead, nothing... she never looked my way and back to the kitchen my drink went. My squid salad arrived, cooked just right and delicious too. I had wanted to order another item and also put in an order for dinner and desserts to take home with me, but no one came by my table to ask me if I liked my food, or if I wanted anything else. Eventually I tired of being ignored and went to the cashier to pay my bill. Though I voiced my disappointment with my service and missed opportunity to order my take home items, I got a blank stare and indifference. Wow. Now, this was just my experience as a single ignored diner. I did observe couples and tables or more than two diners were being asked how their food was, if there was anything else they would like, etc. I guess single diners arent welcome or appreciated? Sorry Krua Thai but I wont be coming back for myself or to bring my family like in years past. Goodbye 13 years of a once Good Thing.

Let me start by saying, I came here last minute because I needed food and it was getting late. Had never been here before. The food was good. Really good. HOWEVER... The a$$hat that runs this place is a jerk. If you have kids, and dont shove a phone or tablet in their face... prepare for him to be a jerk. My son accidentally spilled his water when reaching for the salt, and they were ticked about it. We cleaned as much as we could. It was an ACCIDENT! My daughter wanted to see the light inside the lamp and was standing up (shes 4!) looking in it . And then, as I was trying to pay, which took awhile, and get ahold of my TRUCK DRIVER HUSBAMD WHO IS CROSS COUNTRY.. my son was ticking his sister. And the owner decided to lecture me about not watching my kids. Because a 4 year old was laughin, and my son spilled water? Really? It was rude, and awful for him to react that way. No manners. He never once even talked to me prior to chewing me out, and then when I asked him to repeat what he said, because he basically whispered it, he said "you heard me". Geez. Not kid or family friendly.

I am Thai lady with 1 year old baby and my mother in law went there this afternoon. I try to speak and order in Thai to a waitress but she respond me in English. I order fried pork with basil or in Thai we call "Pad Kra Prao", its very simple Thai dish and I believed that all Thais knew it but what I got is fried pork with bamboo shoot with red curry. I am very disappoint. Even my baby accidently drop of M&M that I thought was seal on the floor. Someone in a kitchen talk in Thai said a baby make a mess also the same waitress says in English "I saw and heard that mess" So far she unhappy to clean as I could see from her face. I wont go back for sure.

Either bland or inedible. I have eaten at this restaurant 3 times now, and really dont have much of anything positive to say. I have tried curries, soups and noodle dishes here, and every time they have either been bland (ordered mild) or too spicy to eat. They give you a spiciness level of 1-4. Anything above 1 is inedible because it is too spicy. When I go out for thai, at most places I order the hottest available. At krua, I cant go over a 1 if I want to sleep that night. If you want to wreck your insides and be uncomfortable for several days, by all means, dont heed my warning.

The food was great, the service was a little sketchy. Water was brought to the table almost immediately, but we waited a while for a waitress to come to the table. Once that happened everything was great. We had the tom yum soup and it was just great. We ordered the yellow curry and the panang both were delicious, my favourite was the yellow curry. For dessert we had the sticky rice with coconut ice cream and it was great. I wish the service was a little bit more attentive but other than that it was delicious food, reasonable priced food and nice decor.

Very disappointing. Havent had really good Thai food since moving to North Phoenix. Ordered Pad Thai and the Sweet Thai Basil. The Pad Thai lacked in the right flavors, sweetness and tanginess, but had a strong aroma of Tumeric (which is wrong for pad Thai) and styrofoam (they did not line box with foil, so the hot food eats away at the styrofoam. The Sweet Thai Basil was a little too sweet, and again the aroma was off. They also didnt get any chili on the side like I requested. Will probably not go back
