I have been coming to this bakery for two years now, and its been outstanding. The quality of the bread is out of this world. One thing that I enjoy the most when I come here is the large variety of bread choices they have. From the Olive bread, Ciabatta, Raisin with walnuts, to the Chickle (Amazing black pepper bread with bits of Prosciutto). If you are more on the simple side, and like to stick to your plain flavors.. They have some satisfying breads to chose from, like the Pizza Bread which is a soft but crusty bread that is round with a hole in the middle, great for fun decorations, and tastes great. And of course their rated number one bread, according to the zagat survey ( I do my research!!) the ultimate best Pane Di Casa. Which is baked in their beautiful antique brick oven, which Ive seen on a few tours Ive gone on. Customers Do Come First!. Every single time I walk into this bakery all the employees are very helpful, and friendly. I have never had any disappointments. Till this day... The Terranova business is more delightful and creative than ever, now offering freshly baked bagels with cream cheese, with a nice cup of coffee. Five Stars!!!!!!!

Terranova is the best!!! I love bread so much its my comfort food... I come here all the time and never get disappointed. They have the best bread you can find in the area... its always fresh and just the way you like it.. There are so many different types of breads to choose from you can not go wrong. They also offer wholesale so if you are planning an event they have great deals and services to offer. I wouldnt look anywhere else they have great service and the best prices.

The absolute BEST bread in NYC. The pane compagna is so incredible...perfect slightly chewy texture, fantastic crust. Nothing can beat this bread. We have tried every bakery in NYC and this is a standout. You have not eaten bread this heavenly until you make the trip up here and get a sliced loaf baked that day. Other baked goods are excellent too.

Terranova is my favorite bakery in the Arthur Ave. area. They have delicious Pane di Casa baked fresh every day as well as some tasty pizza-like breads (the name escapes me right now). Across the street youll find The Pasta Factory which is actually owned by them as well. Get your bread and pasta all in one trip!

Local bakery that sells homemade bread? Count me in! In love with the service and the family feel of the place. MUST TRY THE OLIVE BREAD!!!!!! The owners are always around, so chat them up, theyre super friendly so is the staff. Will always come back to Terranova! !!!

Best bread on Arthur Avenue! Its a small little place, but its a must stop when you are in the Bronx. The pizza bread is the best (its not like the pizza you might be thinking of - not sauce or cheese).

Not only is the bread amazing, the cheese raviolis are excellent and the house made marinara sauce is the real thing, no sugar added!! If you are lucky you can see the old ovens, a real bit of history.

We tried a few loafs of bread. We really loved the Olive loaf, but all were good. Cash only so bring some. Great smells and the freezers on the side wall had good looking pasta.
