Note: Server Andrea, Owner Ron, two exception people! My wife chose this as the dinning spot for her Birthday. What a great decision and TOTALLY worth the drive. Literally 35 miles away from our home. WELL be back. The out side was beautiful, beautiful tables are set on what I would describe as a rustic patio. The inside is obviously an old home that has been tastefully converted into several (maybe seven) small dinning rooms. Andrea spent a great deal of time making our experience very special. She hunted down a jacket for my daughter who was a bit cold. Her descriptive explanation of the specials were mouth watering and a perfectly matched the end result. Every dish was prepared perfectly. I was not alone in ordring the special. Hot Sea Bass and peach with some cold pacific sea coast asparagus type vegetables and coconut cream. So unusual and so satisfiing. The flavors were unknown to me yet so wonderful on the palate. Ron kept tabs on us from the very beginning and was there to follow up on every corse. He came around as we were leaving only to ask if we would like a tour of the entire place. We agreed and were lead through the different rooms as he explained the background of the restaurant and the building. He spoke with a sense of pride and I would too. This is a restaurant with so much going for it. Bravo, thank you. We will see you again soon. Jason E. Lee

Our experience at Coup des Tartes for our 4 year anniversary was the best dining experience weve ever had, hands down. The food was absolutely amazing--we had escargot, the three onion tarte, the filet mignon, the duck and the caramel salted creme brulee. Each one of these dishes was so good they almost overwhelmed us! My partner is a student at Le Cordon Bleu and she was very inspired by every aspect of the restaurant. The service was so attentive and friendly--as a gay couple, we did not feel out of place at all. In fact, between the server and the owner, we must have had 10 pictures taken trying to get the perfect shot--they did not make us feel as if we were inconveniencing them at all. The atmosphere was romantic and homey with cozy rooms seating a few tables...we loved this design. Though it was too hot to eat outdoors, we remarked on how chic and lovely the outdoor dining area was and are giving serious thought to getting married there! In fact, the owner himself suggested his restaurant as a wedding venue for us. Though we seldom have the money to spend on extravagant dinners (although we felt the price for our dinner was very reasonable...maybe even underpriced for the outstanding quality), we will be putting what we can into our foodie fund to make it a point to visit Coup des Tartes at least a few times a year. Thank you and Bravo!

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant for our 4 year anniversary. We wanted true French cuisine for our dinner and Coup Des Tartes is the perfect example of this. We sat outside on their patio and this was such an enjoyable experience for the both of us. The staff was funny, friendly, and so courteous. The escargot had a wonderful twist on it, our entrees were perfect, and they spoiled us with authentic crème Brule and a perfect pairing of liqueur to go with it. We will gladly be visiting again and if you would like a lovely night out I suggest anyone else to do the same!

I went for my birthday the end of August. Their new location has a liquor license no more BYOB. They accommodated my granddaughter who had to return to ASU. Her dinner was served, as requested, with our starters. She had awesome scallops, as did her father. My daughter, husband, and I all had Coc au Vin. Delicious, delicious food, and excellently timed service. My daughter planned the night, and it was a surprise for me. Everything from cocktails, to appetizers, to Champagne, to dinner, wine, and finally dessert made it even a more special evening. Cest ce Bon, tres delicieux

I fell in love with this restaurant before I even tried the food after we first got sat. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed, and the decor was quite charming. Our server, Andrea, was very knowledgeable about the items on the menu and the wines. She also had the perfect balance of checking on our table frequently without hovering. We ordered an appetizer, along with entrees, both of which were divine! There was a wonderful melody and balance of flavors in each dish we tried. I would recommend this fine dining establishment to everyone I know.

This was a very strange restaurant. Looks cute from the outside but when you walk in the walls are bare. Its pretty much empty. I wouldnt classify this as an upscale place at all. We ordered a cheese board appetizer and it was very disappointing.ordered a salad next which was just OK. Then ordered scallops but asked for no cauliflower and the chef gave me another salad instead which was pretty annoying. Wont be back. Weird atmosphere.like an old folks home cafeteria.

This is my Cheers, they are right up the street from me and I am dedicated to trying everything n the menu. I started off with their Lamb Benedict over a Sunday brunch, managed to experience them over Restaurant Week, and have had the pleasure of their Happy Hour. I cant rave other this place enough. Food, service ambiance is top notch. They have tables out doors for those awesome Phoenix nights that are approaching soon.

Amazing. Simply amazing. The atmosphere is one of a kind and whether its brunch or dinner the food is out of this world. Each dining room is different with its own atmosphere and charm. During the day they have a beautiful patio and lawn for brunch. The best part is that the staff isnt in a hurry to rush you out to fill another table. Its truly a place to sit and socialize with your meal.

All of the dishes we had were delicious and served well. The ambiance was quite and romantic. The service was friendly, helpful, and our waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu. She had great recommendations. However, the menu was very traditional and lacked a unique quality. Overall, we were happy with our dining experience and would eat there again.

Intended to visit at their previous location but glad to say they are back in business. In a former house, the rooms have only a few tables which made conversation possible. Fantastic, helpful, efficient staff and absolutely one of the best brunches Ive ever had. Definitely 5 stars! Wish 10 stars were available!!

Came here for brunch and loved it! I got the bottomless mimosas (and got 5 I think) for $11. Extremely fresh and delicious. Started with the Nutella-filled croissant which was amazing and had the chorizo and pineapple quiche for the entree which was phenomenal!!!

We have been there several times recently. The service is always good and very friendly. The owner will engage you, like an old friend, even if you have never been there before. Great atmosphere, in the cozy old house. Most important - the food is delicious!
