I really do like this place. The bbq shrimp poboy is delicious. They stuff the shrimp inside the baguette. There was about 2.5 inches of bread at the end. For a $10 poboy, this could have been stuffed better than with 7 or 8 pieces of shrimp. If you are a new Orleans native, you know this is similar to Dickie Brennans only with less sauce. More sauce would make this even better. I enjoy Creole food but I dont see the deserts the south is known for. Petit fours, pralines....etc. The sazerak macaroons are devine and a nice twist. the menu selection is limited on Creole foods. There is shrimp etoufee but only available for dinner but red beans and rice, gumbo, would help round out more variety. But something is better than nothing. The croissants are delicious but definitely not like the ones in France. French pastry is just unable to be replicated here but are still delicious and tasty. The atmosphere is a little bland but then it is good to communicate to one another and not focus on whats around you. This is far the best place in the Phoenix area to have a little taste of Creole food. Also, the staff is clueless as to the food they serve. They have limited information and certainly do not know what Creole is but at least they can take an order.

This place is my go to for lunch. The staff is amazing. I always have my toddler in tow and everyone is so sweet with her. We have been here more times than I can count and have always received excellent service and the food is always amazing!! Their coffee is also a must have!! We try to limit our dairy intake and they offer almond milk, which is wonderful!! The almond cake is another must try, its a massive slice and is almost a full meal within itself. Honesty, I almost never even consider another place if Im going out for lunch. The prices are perfect for the quality and portion of food, add in the excellent customer service and theres no reason to go anywhere else. Im currently pregnant, but their wine selection is fairly extensive, expecially for a smaller place. If you need any help selecting a wine, just ask. Kevin(the owner) is almost always there after 2, and he is very knowledgeable.

I have had only the BEST experiences at this place, whether dining in or taking out, the food is INCREDIBLE and authentic, prices VERY fair, and the service has ALWAYS been attentive, educational, and professional. The bad reviews about the terrible service must be from impatient self-entitled wannabes who think the world owes them. I have been there over 10 times and although you may have to wait for the cooked to order food, the actual service is outstanding. These people know their stuff when it comes to sourcing ingredients, and especially sourcing their WINE and cheeses, fantastic selections. Maybe Ill go there right now for a little lunch.....

One of the must visit restaurants and specialty grocery stores in the Valley of the Sun. The quiche, bacon praline, and crossant sandwich is the best way to start a weekend morning. They have an appetizer style dinner menu that is excellent. They have awesome cheeses and macrons. You have to try the flourless chocolate cake! The customer service is excellent and the staff is knowledgeable about the diverse offerings there. This is a place where your taste buds can fairly freely roam French and creol cuisine (and the staff is great at helping you in your journey).

This hidden 7th St Ave gem boast authentic French food, cheeses and an impressive wine collection. Lunch seating is available and the place is growing In popularity. Check out their amazing dessert selection: macaroons, creek brûlée and amazing beignets. French press coffee is delicious. Breakfast recommendations include their home made croissant sandwiches---spinach and egg are favs---or mini quiches. If you love French food, this place will delight! Service staff is warm and welcoming to boot. Wait time is sometime a little longer the norm, but entirely worth it.

Driving home today, i saw their sign and we decided to stop for some coffee instead if going across the street to starbucks. We werent sure what they had but we were okeasantly surprised! Coffees, pastries, desserts, wine, beer and cheese! Breakfast served and lunch starts at 11. Wanted to try their garlic pumpkin soup but it was 1050 am and they werent ready for lunch. Chocolate croissant for just shy of $4 is a must do! Fresh, flaky, delicious. Will be back for some flourless chocolate cake and eclairs too!

Really wonderful collection of wines and Kevin is very knowledgeable and helpful with picking the perfect bottle for any occasion or budget. His selection includes a great variety of wines ranging from the traditional regions to more obscure lesser known areas. Personal favorites are wide selection of Kermit Lynchs imported wines, who tends to highlight small artisnal producers using natural techniques. Havent had a chance to try all their food yet, but the beignets are delicious!

Exceeded my expectations from price of food to actual food quality I ordered the croque madam split in half to share with an over hard egg my boyfriend and i were shocked at how well made this sandwich was from the creamy thick bechmal sauce to the perfectly cooked egg and even the portion size to make it short we were so happy and the garlic aioli for the pomme frites was to die for over all this place has become our date spot from now on so delicious.

Dying for good macaroons, dont go here! $7.50 for (4) stale tasting bland macaroons that all seem to lack flavor and very small. They had to be 3 days old at least and ended up in the trash! The picture they advertise is very deceitful. They do NOT have a large verity of pastry and I can get the wine cheaper at world market! Save you time and money. I walked outta there smelling like burned food. I refuse to believe this place is french owned!

Its a great place I visit every time I visit Phoenix and have always had a great time, the only downside of this place may be the parking or it being overcrowded. Food taste great and comes out quick, coffee drinks and tea are also fantastic here. As for the "rude" employees Ive never experienced that and neither have my grandparents that go every weekend so the poor reviews on here I assume them to be rare occurrences not the norm.

Always walk away with a smile on my face. The food is great, they could work a little on being more friendly and guide the new customers through the menu. The first time we stopped at this place there was a gentleman there that was able to look pass are working clothes and took the time to help us by explaining what was what. He was tall, had long hair a beard and a mustache, to him we say thank you.

LOVE this place! The wine selection is wonderful, the help is even better. From good American craft beers, to sours from all over the world. Cheese I have never seen or heard of. The baker and pastry chef make the most amazing little morsels... I dont eat sweets, but can not leave with out a tasty treat. Candied Bacon is to die for on the weekends

The only reason that this place didnt get 5 stars is because I have been to Le Panier at Pike Place (Seattle, Washington). But this place is the closest that I have found to an authentic French cafe in Arizona. Anytime that you go, you need to get the bacon praline. If you are there for lunch, try the Beignet sandwich (its big enough to share)!
