My husband and I went here because we were tired of IHop and Kneaders is closed on Sundays. We viewed the website for a menu and also saw Google had decent reviews so we thought it would be good. When we arrived, there was a family of three and a single lady in front of us, and the waiting line is outside, in the sun. There are two benches to sit down on, but as it turns out, there were more people who apparently had reservations. Nowhere on the site does it mention to make one, so if you dont know that, be prepared to have multiple people seated before you, while you stand in direct sun as they dont write your name on a list so you have to wait in line. We were actually seated before the single lady in front of us, which my husband and I both thought was not good service at all. We didnt know if there was a single seating being cleaned for her while we were being seated. Turns out the table that had been clean and open the whole time all three of us were in line was where she was seated. That is unacceptable. The space is too small for the amount of people this business tries to serve. My chair was bumped multiple times by waitresses and other guests the entire visit. We were given menus but no one came to get a drink order for around 8 minutes or so. The menu had some interesting meals, but no descriptions (like what is a beignet?). I went with a ham, egg and swiss crepe, and my husband got the Eggs Benedict. It wasnt a long wait for food, but when theres that many people crammed into a small space, any amount of waiting feels obnoxious. The food was just above good: not excellent but not average. While we were eating, the single lady at the table next to us had creamer/milk spilled all over her because the waitress dropped it from the table she was cleaning. There was maybe 6in of space between the two tables so why in the world the waitress thought it appropriate to clean a table from that side that close to someone is beyond me. Instead of helping the lady out immediately I clearly heard her say "Give me about three seconds and I will help you" while she cleaned up the floor, that was not a main walkway. The lady was already about to leave when we were waiting, and my husband and I concurred that we will be surprised if she returns now. You dont say that to someone who you have just spilled something all over in the middle of twenty or more people. After, the hostess seated two couples at the table to our left and we were leaned over the whole time. Uncomfortable and frankly not how I want to feel during my Sunday breakfast. In short, the food is better than IHop, but the atmosphere is a huge negative - no space to yourself, a waiting line in direct sun, and too many people crammed into a too small space (when there is space available on both sides of her business to purchase and expand appropriately). We will not be returning until the business space expands to fit its clear needs.

Lets start with the good points. The food was good and the service was prompt, though oddly we were asked multiple times if we were going to order after we had already ordered. The Hollandaise sauce (which is used on most of the menu) was lighter than what I typically associate with it. In my opinion, it was better for that. My eggs were a bit overcooked for Eggs Benedict, though my SOs was cooked perfectly. Our food was good and had a nice flavor. With that though, the flavors were not exactly what either of us were used to for the items we ordered. I would not suggest coming here if you are truly craving Eggs Benedict because the flavor is different than almost all Eggs Benedict Ive had before. Personally, I liked the difference. The not so great things: The restaurant is tiny and quite crowded. It could be comfortable with about two less tables. Usually not a big deal and it wouldnt prohibit me from going here again except the room was very crowded and the air conditioning was set at 76. 76 degrees with a full kitchen separated by a partial wall and about 10 people stuffed into a room the size of a smaller bedroom was ridiculously too warm. If we eat here again I would definitely take the food to go.

After reading amazing reports of this out of the way West Side Bistro, my curiousity was piqued. Upon arrival I was disappointed that the place was so very small and so plainly decorated. Late afternoon there was no one inside but the greeter/waiter insisted that my husband and I could only sit at one of the painfully small tables for two and told us there was a reservation for the other 4 other larger tables. (after a hour no one appeared, of course). We loved the meatloaf sandwhich with walnut green salad, but the waiter did not know that. He did not come to our table once while we ate and still we are the only diners. In fact, during our meal he went into the kitchen and prepared his own meal and then promptly sat at one of the larger tables and ate his lunch/dinner. I guess if I lived in the neighbor hood I might come back to try dinner, but after the poor atmosphere and very poor service I dont think it would be worth the drive. With such a very small place decorating it in a nice french country look would be inexpensive and easy and with the bathroom door sitting in the middle of the wall, it would be so much cuter to say "La Salle De Bain".

Excellent food!! Rich French cuisine, everything freshly made, prices very reasonable for the calibre of food. We had the Sunday brunch and couldnt have asked for more. One of reviews said there was not enough for kids, however, all the side dishes were delicious and more than a 12 year old could eat! One criticism I might give is that the "dining room" is way too small and tables so close one is almost touching elbows with those at the next table. We solved it by eating on the patio so if you are one who needs space, always ask for a reservation on the patio. By far some of the best food in Surprise, even better than Vogue and far less expensive! Bring ur own bottle of spirits (only $3 corkage fee) makes it even nicer :)

Such a cute little place! Located in the same strip mall as Dollar Tree on the North side of Bell Rd across the street from Safeway. I had bacon wrapped dates and Quiche Lorraine (comes with a simple yet delicious salad). The quiche is creamy, the eggs are done...its wonderful....not scrambled eggs in a pasty shell! if thats what youre used to, Im sorry for your loss...youve missed out! Time to have the real thing at Amuse Bouche! Service was good, my iced tea stayed full and she had a smile! I will be back for sure! Highly satisfied!

Went there today with my 13 year old daughter. My daughter didnt see anything she wanted On the adult menu so she tried to order the chicken tenders and fries on the "10 and under menu". Waitress wouldnt let her I asked if they had an adult version. She said no. I told her that I guess we will have to go somewhere else. So she brought me my check for our drinks. I will NEVER go here again. Which is a bummer because my husband and I really enjoyed eating there. What happened to customer service?
