You know that little, lesser-known, hole-in-the-wall, amazing restaurant that you wish you could think of on a beautiful Saturday or Sunday morning, to spend your entire morning at, enjoying the weather, sipping fantastic coffee with impeccably made pastries (croissants!), rich béchamel sauce on some incredible egg dish and a waiter that just brings you randomly delicious things that you didnt order (and he doesnt charge you for!) because he had them in the back and just thought you might like them? Well, you found it. This is the "little secret place" you take your out of town friends to. This is the place you lose track of time at with your good friends, laughing and eating the whole morning away until you leave stuffed, totally happy and ready to relax and enjoy the rest of your day. Love this place. Easy to recommend. We have wandered in on Saturday and Sunday anywhere between 9 and 11am and never had an issue finding a seat. Very casual experience. Start with a cappuccino, enjoy the fresh hot croissants for a while, maybe get a chocolate one (dear god, so good), maybe another cup of coffee, order some breakfast, talk, laugh and just enjoy. Then be shocked at the end of this beautiful meal when the bill comes, and it is no more than any other breakfast place and the owner probably didnt even charge you for some of the items just so youd have a better experience (happened every time weve gone). Vincents place has a really wonderful/relaxed energy that is all about enjoying your day and we do every time we go.

Went there on yesterday for lunch - Saturday in March. I had been to Vincent market bistro a number of times, but never Saturday lunch during high season. Makes a difference - big difference. There is a farmers market - some fruits and veggies, but also purses, art, baskets, paintings, etc. And then about five or so stations to buy Vincents food. All outside. The six of us got there about noon. There was one table big enough for all us available. The only negative was that the table was partly in full sun - on a hot March day. Anyway. Everyone in our group got either crepe or pizza. I got bacon arugula pizza. It was delicious. I didnt buy a beverage. I dont drink pop nor alcohol. And Im not paying $1 for a bottle of water. I was thirsty, but not that thirsty. Anyway, everyone really enjoyed their food. Mostly enjoyed the seating and atmosphere. I thought the prices were good fit what you get. (except for the aforementioned water - about which Im a little insane.) I look forward to returning some time to the farmers market/Vincents .... And also returning to just plain Vincents Bistro.

Ive been a regular customer of Vincents Bistro for at least 5 years. Dollar for dollar, it has to be the best food in town. But lately the service has been lacking due to understaffing. My party of 3 arrived on a weeknight at 5:40pm. Only four other tables were occupied, but the only server was still very busy, explaining the menu, taking orders, and serving drinks. We waited 15 minutes to get our order taken, just before the restaurant began filling up. Who knows what was going on in the kitchen. We didnt get our appetizer until 6:20 and our entree until 6:30. Two other servers eventually arrived, but hardly any food was coming out of the kitchen. At least we got served before any of the people who arrived after us. I asked to see Vincent but was told he was gone for the day. It will be awhile before I go back and when I do, if things havent improved, Im done.

What a great place for brunch! Its only open for this meal on Sundays, so make a point of coming. Everything from the complimentary croissants with homemade jam to the coffee to the perfectly prepared omelettes are simply and flawlessly prepared and presented. Prices are more than fair for the quality and the service is second to known. The surprise fresh-fruit tarte with ice cream served on the house at the end of the meal was just a finishing touch of class. Im a believer! Big groups can make the space inside a little noisy, so be prepared if most of the tables are filled.

I gave 5 stars for the good service and their very tasteful breakfast dishes! Their hot and strong coffee fits the ticket very well. I just cannot accept places that want you to drink their wash/wash coffee that looks like tinted water, it looks so cheap that they want to save money on coffee powder. Vincents delicious free sweets/croissant are to die for and the main breakfast menu are the best in Phoenix! Their location by the Salt River Canal, one can just walk and do the wonderful by the water canal walking exercise!! If you have not been there, do it a try!

Croissants that melt in your mouth. 3 course Prix Fixe menu is great deal: Tonights choices were: Lobster, Halibut, or Duck Comfit with a starter and dessert for $29. Portions are European style, plenty and you dont leave feeling stuffed. Cute, casual bistro with friendly servers.

Very nice French bistro style ambiance, they give you 3 croissants with Strawberry preserves instead of bread. The crab cakes were delicious. Edit: also they gave me complimentary dessert (pumpkin pie and brownie with ice cream) Service was great.

The Bistro is a wonderful neighborhood place, just as it would be in any town in France. Its a bit wild and disorganized, but the food is excellent and reasonably priced and you are in and out in as short a time or long as you would wish.

Bistro takes no reservations unless there are more than 5 people. The bistro doesnt have a restroom, need to go outside and into the restaurant to use the restroom. Restaurant takes reservations for parties of any size.

Went for restaurant week, food was mediocre and service was just ok. ONLY thing that redeemed this place was their duck tomales. Really enjoyed them. Dont feel like this is for a younger crowd either.

I love the place, daily specials from a world-class chef in a more casual setting. Fine dining thats a little easier on the wallet, not cheap by any means, but do-able and top top quality all around ...
