So I decided to try this place for the first time today. I order the honey pecan shrimp dinner. I had the appetizers, standard fair, BBQ pork, spring roll, and a couple fried shrimp, along with Won Ton soup. It was all delicious. Finally the honey pecan shrimp came, and I was in heaven. Very good, usually its made with walnuts, but pecans are just as good if not better. Service was good, there was only one glitch, but it was rectified very quickly, the waiter forgot my hot tea. But other than that service was excellent. I really liked how they treated me, and especially long time customers that I saw come in, they treated everyone like family. Remembering peoples names, and what they usually like to order. Food came out fairly fast, Id really like to get a bunch of people to go in with me, so we can order different things to try.

Went there round 9pm on a weekday. Looks like a cute and small house on the side of Speedway. Inside, the decorations and living space is old but its clean (our tablecloth was stained). There was so much food to pick from. We got a 2-person menu and it had at least 5 different foods on it. Meanwhile, they served us sliced pork with sesame seeds, wasabi. The food was super good, not the standard fried Chinese; it felt more home cooked and well seasoned. Service was good. Will come back.

My wife and I stopped in, we first noticed the place was empty and with all tables open we were seated far in the back next to the kitchen and drink serving area then we waited 12 min for someone to get a glass of water and order at least a drink. Eventually a woman came out and gave us menus 30 minutes later we got our food practicly thrown at us. The food was ok but we couldnt finish wondering what went into making it! We paid and left with no tip! Worst place ever!

They have the most amazing pork fried rice, sweet n sour shrimp (Neve overcooked so moist but crunchy outside), I have never cared for almond ding but theirs is AMAZING! The service is so wonderful they make you feel like you are one of their family members (the ones you want to see). I highly recommend this place. Great first date place, it is small, intimate, and a great place to talk to get to know one another.

We love it. We have been regulars at this restaurant for long time.They work really hard and use good quality chicken and vegetables. Their sauces are very tasty. They will make your food gluten free, if you have a need for that, by leaving out soy sauce, or you can bring in your own soy sauce. No guarantee of cross contamination gluten issues, but they try to work with you. The price is great as well.

This is my new favorite restaurant! The egg drop soup, general tsao chicken, bbq pork, spring rolls, and fried prawns were amazing! They are very high quality and taste very fresh! They only use white meat in their chicken dishes. The only thing that wasnt as good as some restaurants was the white rice. It reminded me of the instant white rice, which is good, but not as good as a sticky rice.

Lousy Chinese food-for all who knows what real authentic Chinese cuisine should taste like. Great Chinese food-for all who likes pre-made sugar colored sauces and syrups over deep fried low protein dishes with steamed or blanched veggies. Was there once but never again though I live in Mukilteo. Nice smiley folks, yes but they know better and they can do better but theyre not.

I just ate my last meal at the Golden House. If you love minute amounts of animal protein breaded and deep fried, no vegetables, poor service and being charged three times what the meal is worth, then this is the place for you. I think that the Sweet and Sour Sauce was probably purchased at the local Dollar Store. Bad meal, bad experience all around.

Open 7 days a week so no excuse for when you visit. Charlie and April never take a holiday.The food is always well prepared, the service is outstanding and the interior is authentic You wont go wrong is you enjoy Chinese food. They even make it a point to learn your name when you visit a second time.Always a smile for you..

Very accommodating. I dislike tofu, but love Hot & Sour soup. So they made a special bowl of Hot & Sour soup w/out it. We had Mongolia Beef (3 star), BBQ pork fried rice, Szechuan Pork (3 star), Cashew chicken, and the special soup. Everything was fantastic!

The honey pecan shrimp is amazing but everything else is not. We ordered the scallops, orange chicken & general chicken... they all had a weird after taste & smelled disgusting. We also only drank water. Our food was not worth what we paid.

Tried this restaurant out for the first time and I have to say we were very impressed. Tammy the owner was very sweet and we had excellent customer service from her. The food was fresh, hot and delicious! Well definitely be back!

Best Chinese food. Since moving from Mukilteo, I still make trips up from Olympia to get my Mongolian Beef. I still havent found a restaurant that can come close to compare to the quality of the food.
