This is the WORST L&L Ive ever been to. I wish I could leave 0 stars because their customer service is so bad. Ive tried this L&L on 3 different occasions and there was something with wrong each visit. 1st time I called at opening to make a take out order. I called over and over until finally someone answered and asked me to call back in 30 mins. Ive never heard of that before when a place is supposed to be open. 2nd time called and made a take out order. They said it would be ready in 15 minutes but ended up waiting for our food for over 30 mins. 3rd time made a take out order and the boy working was so rude. Greeting everyone else but my husband. Again told us it would be ready but it wasnt. Got chicken katsu but guess what? They DONT give you katsu sauce unless you ask. Thats the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard! It would be nice to NOTIFY the customers of this change. Or even better, you could just ask the customer if they would like some. This is NOT like your typical L&L you would find in Hawaii. I grew up 10 minutes away from an L&L and never had a bad experience. This place seriously lacks customer service and aloha spirit. Do yourself a favor and avoid this imposter.

I ordered the healthy bbq chicken and it was delicious and generously portion as expected from L&L! Service was very friendly, admostphere was clean and tidy, Hawaiian music in the background to remind you that youre at a Hawaiin BBQ restaurant not a fancy steakhouse. Heck even the restroom was clean. Perhaps those that got negative experiences should give it anothet try. Keep in mind that youre dinning at L&L laid-back bbq place, not fancy steakhouse or Canlis which you will be walking out hundred dollars poorer because of exceptional services you paid just paid for. This place deserves 5 stars for what it is in my book not 2.6.

Mac salad was very bland. The chicken was over cooked and overpowered by soy sauce, teriyaki, or whatever salty thing they baste it with. The floor was pretty dirty which was a shock since I got there right when they opened. The girl working was kind, and the prices were good, but if u cant eat the food, then whats the point? I like Bobbys Hawaiian much better.

This used to be a favorite when it first opened, but not anymore. I ate there back in September with the family and ended up with a terrible stomach virus. Shouldve known. The food was over cooked, fish had a stench taste to it bleh! and seats, table, and floors were disgustingly dirty. Never going back again...

Dirty sticky tables and floor. Bathroom with graffiti and no soap/towels. Macaroni salad had no seasoning just mayo and elbow macaroni. Meats over-marinated yet tough and salty. Fish tasted off. Staff inattentive. Couldnt pay me to go back there.

Its good food and the prices are good. Service is decent but it is a bit slow. During lunch it take 20 to 25 minutes to get your food so this is place if you are working close by you can possible squeeze in a lunch of not get it to go

almost always get the BBQ mix, always good. not once yet had a bad experience or burnt meat like the some reviews ive seen. i love the Mac, but my girlfriend doesnt care for it, so i guess its hit or miss.

Came during lunch. The one guy working was on the phone and once he saw me he walked into the back. After almost five minutes I left without ever even getting to order my food. Oh well. Wont be back!

Great food and decent price! Service is a bit slow as they dont make it til you order it. Portion size for their chicken katsu was massive to me. It justifies the $10.99 well worth it.

Not my favorite place to pick up a couple musubis when on the go, but on the plus side, they are clean, quick to prepare my order and always friendly! They also have Katsu musubis!
