Nice remodel except for the Ugly black wood chip landscaping. How did the city of San Mateo allow such ugly eye sore landscaping? Obviously the owner did it because it is cheap like him! LOL. These wood chips will be blowing all over El Camino come winter. They should outlawed for commercial businesses. Should have put few nice low maintenance shrubs instead.

Coming here at lunch hour might have been a mistake. There was only 1 person at the counter taking your order and payment. It is also a small Taco Bell compared to the others Ive been to. Although, one thing to note is that it is newly refurbished so the tables and chairs looks really nice. There is outdoor seating as well. Parking is available at the back.

Gavin... Guy with glasses was completely rude. He would not open the doors until 10 after 7 and argued that his system said it was 7. When I mentioned the time he said :get out of here you can call the corporate office and make a complaint. He lost two customers due to his rude conduct. Caused me to be late to work. I will never go there again

ASSISTANT MANAGER WAS REALLY RUDE, DID NOT GIVE ME THE EXTRA BURRITO I PURCHAAED AT WINDOW. ARGUING WITH ME OVER A 99 CENT BURRITO, HONESTLY?? I ALSO NOTICED THEY CHANGE EXPIRATION STICKERS WITHOUT THROWING OUT THE FOOD THAT IS A FOOD SAFETY VIOLATION ( IS ACTUALLY AGAINST THE LAW) AND THAT IS THE FOOD THAY ARE SERVING???

Yes it is clean but everytime I come here theres a long wait they have not enough workers which surprises me because theres so many people that need jobs and they look at you stupid when you ask for certain things so it just really stinks that this is the closest fast food in my area for work

I always send a mobile order since they dont have a drive thru. It is actually common in this area for restaurants like this to not have drive thrus, the other taco bell does not, McDonalds does not. Great staff and service!

Stopped for lunch, ordering was weird, mostly ESL (English as a Second Language) employees, order took way longer than expected. Very small seating area/dining room. Parking? Im not a TB regular. This one underwhelmed me.

The staff is friendly and professional. The restaurant is clean. Unfortunately, they tend to skimp on certain ingredients, but this is due to upper management being cheap and instructing workers to give much meat and such.

Refused to serve beef- said "only chicken and steak". This is not a Mom and Pop operation, I expect they will bother to have all items available while open. I dont care if closing time is in 2 minutes.

This taco Bell is remodeled...didnt include a drive through, but considering the traffic on El Camino Real its understandable. Standard Taco Bell fare...good stuff when youre in a hurry.
