I am always hesitant trying a new Chinese takeout joint because Ive been disappointed so many times in this area. Its a waste of money, calories, and time when youre looking forward to good Chinese takeout and what you get looks like the frozen Chinese dinners from the grocery store. I came to Panda with much optimism due to all the good reviews. And Im happy to say they were mostly on point. Does Panda have the best Chinese food around? Probably not. But for take out Chinese thats close by, Panda is now officially top of my list. I ordered general tsos chicken and hot & sour soup, which are my standards for trying a new place out. If they disappoint on the general chicken, its very very likely everything else they make is sub par as well. Hot and sour soup is a very difficult soup to make well, so I tend to order it to see just how good a place is if they happen to pass the general chicken test. I rounded out my order with some crab rangoons and Hunan beef. Panda did very well with the general chicken. Definitely was the best of all the places Ive tried. There is a ton of sauce, which is good and bad but flavor was about 85% close to the real deal. Chicken chunks were large and not overly breaded. They distinctly lack broccoli florets and dried chili peppers though. Overall, Id give it a B+. The hot and sour soup was definitely lacking. It didnt have the depth of flavor I was hoping for and the ingredients were far from traditional. Carrots in h&s soup is very unconventional and the consistency was too thick, a result of too much starch added. Crab rangoons were average but I dont hold that against them since its not really Chinese food. The Hunan beef was wonderful. Like the chicken it was very saucey and lacking any garnish, but the flavor was delicious. The ginger and garlic melded perfectly to give the beef chunks depth. The white rice that was given had some burnt sections so panda probably needs a new cooker. Panda is a very homey Chinese takeout joint that aims to please. Its dishes arent fancy but the flavors of their entrees seem to be on point. Ill be going back for my next Chinese take out meal. Of note, it is very difficult to find. Its tucked away on the first floor of the tacketts mill building under the police field station. Look for the glowing neon "Open" sign because it is otherwise very easy to miss. Took me a few times and a study of the directory map to figure it out!

I had a very hard time finding this restaurant. It was not labeled very well. They should get the center management to get them better light and signs. They were extremely helpful in walking to the main road and showing me where they were. We ordered the Sesame Chicken and the Pepper Steak which were both VERY yummy. They were both full of flavor. Probably the best I have had in a long time. Maybe next time I am in town I will order delivery, but will definitely order from them again. To the person with the worm in their food, I guess you know nothing of the nature of produce. They do not come in restaurants but live in veggies. It could have happened anywhere you got broccoli from.

First time I tried this place, very close to my home. Place was almost scary--tucked back in, hard to find, not well-lit, old, dirty room. Still, I ordered food to go. Food was average--not great, not bad. Until I found a green WORM in the broccoli beef!!! THEN, the owner would only offer me 20% off NEXT ORDER! NO REFUND!!! She didnt believe me! Id give them zero stars if I could--their customer service is definitely lacking (unlike the broc. beef!).

We love this place! We order way too much for our own good. Their food is really tasty and delicious and we all enjoy it in my family. When the delivery man comes even our dog starts barking cuz he wants an eggroll! I love the szechuan beef and my son get hunan chicken like every time. My hubby likes chicken with garlic sauce and he says its really good. So if you want good chinese delivered to your house try this one out. We really love it!!

We ordered $50 worth of food late at night. It was the first time we ordered so I didnt know how the food would be. Being nighttime, I thought they wouldve thrown in some leftover but that was not the case. All of the food was fresh, and was absolutely amazing. Whoever cooked it wanted their customer to be happy and we were. This is the best place to go for Chinese in Woodbridge
