We were just going to get the cake for our 25th Wedding Vow Renewal from Sams Club 3 tierred cake selection but they wouldnt even accomodate our request to place a topper on the cake. I decided to call Cooper Street Bakery and it was one month prior to our event just to inquire even though I had hesitations because of the bad reviews but their prices were within our budget so I did, and to my surprise, they accomodated my date even though they require at least 4 months out to order a wedding cake. I was suggested to come in so we could talk about the design in details which I did. I had a photo of the cake design I wanted plus all of my personal prefences in mind. I talked to the Tammy and she gave me suggestions and ideas which I liked and agreed on. I provided the ribbons, topper, and flowers I wanted on our cake which I already bought and brought in when I came in. They even delivered the cake for a reasonable price on a Sunday when they usually dont deliver. The cake was gorgeous when I saw it and boy it was delicious! It was exactly what we talked about!

My experience with this bakery was rather disappointing. I called before showing up and the lady who answered didnt have much phone etiquette. Perhaps she was super busy, Im uncertain. I came in to make my purchase and let the woman know what I was looking for. The day I came in to pick up the cake it was basically as I was hoping for it to appear, basically just some colored frosting and small flowers in the corners. We cut into the cake and began to eat our small portions. The frosting was not buttercream frosting as was specified and the cake was dry. Not the actual cake being dry, but as if it had been sitting out all day and the air formed a dry texture to the outer layer of the cake. I will absolutely never buy from this bakery again and would NOT recommend it either.

They made a special cake for our wedding! We had a book and movie themed wedding. We wanted one cake instead of two. One that showed both of our personalities, not just the grooms. So we had a VCR as the bottom layer (My husband collects VHS tapes), and we had books as the center layers (because I enjoy reading) and a VHS tape as the top with our wedding hashtag in place of the movie title. One layer was chocolate, another red velvet and I believe another was a vanilla flavor. Overall, it was a big hit and the price was 1/3 of the cost anywhere else in town. Ive had 3 friends who have used this place for their wedding cakes and they always look and taste amazing. My favorite cake place by far!

I have been using Cooper Street Bakery for years. My family has had probably every kind of cake they make several times over and we have never gotten anything buy delicious cakes each time. Their brownies are also scrumptious! Anytime I take a Cooper Street cake to a party I always have several people ask me where I got the cake because it is so wonderful. I hardly ever write reviews but when I googled their number to place an order and read some of the other reviews I felt like I needed to offer my two cents. Their red velvet cake is actually their specialty to me. I have probably ordered 20 of them over the years and every single one has tasted amazing!

Ordered my daughters 13th Birthday cake here, and they did an amazing job. Everything was perfect and my daughter was in tears, she loved the design so much. The cake tasted amazing and the staff was so friendly. Worked with us on the design, made sure her name was correct and even went above and beyond to get the perfect shade of purple. Ordered her 14th bday cake a few days ago and even though they were closing, they still sat with us and took their time to meet our needs. Were so excited to see her cake again this year! We LOVE Cooper Street Bakery. Thank you for your hard work, and beautiful cakes!

Went in there cause I was craving some chocolate chips cookies. I asked the lady if they were fresh, to which she responded "yep, theyre fresh". I dont how what their definition of fresh is but the cookies were stale and could definitely have used more chocolate chips. Never going back there again, the only reason this is not a 1 star is because their brownies are decent. If you want good fresh cookies then Paris Bakery is still the top place in Arlington.

I ordered a cake for my daughters 16th birthday this past Saturday. I only used them because my sister speaks so highly of them. This is the 3rd and last time that I use them. The staff is very rude,dry and rushed me off the phone. I sent my husband to get the cake and he came home with a cake that was not covered in any way. It was just sitting on top of a box. I thought that was very unprofessional and unsanitary.

My favorite bakery. My wifes birthday cake was so beautiful, she cried. Everything is delicious and incredible service. I cant say enough good things about this place. All my family and friends have used them for years. They are wonderful ladies to deal with and they make incredible cakes. Give your money to the great "mom and pop" places like this, instead of the big mega stores.

I ordered a cake to be picked up at 12pm on Friday Sept 2nd. It was a beautiful cake until I got it home and proceeded to cut it at 6pm. The cake was hard as a rock considering that it was supposedly baked that morning. It was my first and last time ordering a cake from them. Once I started calling they of course was closed for the holiday.

My daughters birthday cake came from Cooper Street Bakery as well as my sons, this past weekend. I was so impressed with both cakes. The decorating is fabulous and I was so proud of the cakes. My son said it was the best tasting chocolate cake he had ever had! Definitely will continue using them for all my cake needs.

Please, please do not go here for a birthday cake. I am a grandfather who purchased a cake here for my grandson. I was so embarrassed, the cake was dry and lacked flavor. Literally the worst cake I purchased in my lifetime...how they have 4 stars I can not comprehend!!!
