Our family has been going to Magic Wok for over 7+ yrs and we absolutely love this place! The dishes are defenitaly an old school taste of China,they are always delicious fresh,hot, and well prepared by the chef.Our favorite dish is Shirmp Chow Mein and Roast Pork Fried Rice its very rare to find a chef that can still prepare the authentic taste anywhere else. We love the atmosphere at Magic Wok, it is a family operated restaurant and they welcome my wife and I and our 4 crazy kids with open arms at all times. Tony is by far the most friendly,cool and calm owner that exist in Northern VA. Chen the chef and his son Hashien always come to say hello to our kiddos and that means the world to us. If you want an authentic Chinesse restaurant that still maintains its roots,has excellent service and keeps its price reasonable go there and you will see for yourself.

I am a tourist to America, I had dinner with my family on 05 May 2015. The Restaurant swiped my travel card for an amount that I had authorized but I find after couple of days they had charged me an additional amount after couple of days. when I visited their restaurant about the additional claim I was told that I had authorized them to charge me on my card as tips, which is not true. They had manipulated the tip amount without my consent. This is my first bad, evil experience with any restaurant in the world. Quiet a disappointing experience I had and as a tourist from another nation its disappointing to go through such a experience. Watch out folks, restaurants can misuse credit/debit cards and charge as tips days after the actual transaction too. I have complained against the restaurant to my bank.

Best Chinese food in this area, and Ive been looking! Great hot and sour soup, the first test of any good Chinese cooking. I like that they offer shared meals, its a great value with variety. Ive had their shrimp with veggies (cant remember the name), pepper steak and orange chicken...all delicious! The dining room isnt anything special and the staff isnt overly attentive, but its worth the trip...if the workers kids are running around and yelling (which they often are and it can be a bit much sometimes) you can always get takeout!

I confused this Magic Wok with the other Magic Wok in Alexandria and placed an order online. By the time I realized that I had ordered from the wrong restaurant the food had already been prepared. Given the logistics of the day, I was not able to make it to the restaurant to pick it up. When I called and explained the situation, the owner refused to let me pay for the food. 5 stars for customer service and I will definitely make an effort to stop by and try the food in the near future.

This place is literally disgusting. I came here for lunch on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 and I had the worst experience. I ordered the General Tsaos Chicken for lunch and it was absolutely deplorable and disgusting. The fried rice tasted like it had been cooked in filthy water, The General Tsaos Chicken lacked flavor and crispiness. The fried rice had no vegetables at all. The customer service was not the greatest at all. I would never eat here again.

My co-workers and I decided on chinese today for lunch and ordered from here. We all pretty much agreed that this place is not good. The hot and sour soup was awful and had a strange smell. The meats were dry. OMG and the shrimp tempura was fried hard to the point you couldnt even bit into it. I do not recommend this place for delivery. Might be a different story for eat in or carry out, I dont know.

very great fried rice, good portions as well, there ribs are really nice and have some great soup, very friendly staff, all though it always tends be to empty inisde dont let that fool you this place is usually carry out threre phones are always ringing, recommend coming here with a friend

Delicious chinese food at great prices. The lemon chicken was especially wonderful. It was very thinly breaded (enough for flavor without feeling like youre eating a chicken sandwich) and not a bit greasy. The staff has been unfailingly friendly and helpful.

Been going here since 1998 and love this place; esp the Sunday buffet. I live out near Dulles now and try to make the drive once in awhile bec its that great. Hot and Sour is wonderful.
