We arrived on a Saturday around 6:45pm. It was busy but there were a few empty tables. We stood near the hostess stand, which was apparently unattended and no one ever came to help us. Servers were busy going by, but not one person stopped to take a name or say they would be with us in a minute. Finally, we stopped someone to ask if there was a waiting list to sit on the patio. He never really answered and then a man who appeared to be the bartender, rudely said he would take our names. We went to the bar area to wait and order a drink and it took a long time to be acknowledged. When we finally were acknowledged, the same guy rudely took our orders. No one ever came for us for a table. By this time, we were reluctant to stay for dinner, but we thought wed give it a chance. A bus person came over with two waters chips and salsa (there were 4 of us). We waited ten minutes and no one ever came to take an order or tell us they would be with us in a minute. We finally got up and left. The place seemed to be in utter chaos, with no organization or leadership and I would not recommend the trip. Its a shame too.

I am so disappointed in Camino Real in Berryville. We ordered take out tonight, well over $50 dollars, and didnt receive any rice and beans with our meals. When I called to inquire as to why, I was told that the meals we ordered didnt come with rice and beans and yet on their menu it clearly states that these dishes are suppose to be served with rice and beans - Is that only if you are eating in the restaurant?! I have been a loyal customer of Camino Real for nearly 20 years and have ordered take out on numerous occasions and have always received rice and beans with our meals, which I might add is something my family looks forward to. I dont know what happened tonight but I am seriously disappointed.

Average at best. Ate here while working in the area. Got two beef burritos which were very good. Rice was bland,however. Beans were ok. Also, the salsa is not good at all. Almost like tomato juice with onions mixed in. Service wasnt bad so thats a plus. All in all, not terrible, but not the best either in my opinion.

Camino Real is our "go-to" restaurant when we come out to Winchester for the weekend (usually enroute to the Family Drive-In in Stevens City). Food is reliably good and reasonably priced, with fast. friendly service.
