Im extremely disappointed with the service I received today. Ive ordered from here a couple times for delivery and have been satisfied. However today I decided to pick up my order rather than have it delivered. When I got back to work with my order I opened the box and My order was completely wrong. I called and asked if someone could come pick up the incorrect order and give me the correct one. The guy on the phone said that I would have to pick up the correct order myself because it would take too long for a driver to get to my job. That being said I only work 2.2 miles down the road and he never said sorry for screwing up the order!!!! There was no offer of a full refund but he did say he could knock a few dollars off my next order... I dont know what made him think I would want to order from them again anyways. I called back later and asked for a manager and of course sat on hold so long that I just hung up. No one has made the effort to call me back either. I will never order from Backyard Grill again and I will be putting this review on yelp and other websites as well. They really shot themselves in the foot with the poor customer service.

I placed an order for delivery on their website- paid with a credit card & received a confirmation # and email. Over an hour later our food still had not arrived (I was a mile from the restaurant & was quoted 30 minutes). I placed a call to the restaurant inquiring about the order. I was told that their system was down...but yet they still received the order. Made absolutely no sense at all. Finally our food was delivered (most likely with a copious amount of the employees spit), complete with a credit card receipt with a place to add tip/sign. Two days later I get a call from the restaurant asking me to pay for the food that was delivered ($30 worth of food) and demanding that I have proof of the transaction to back up my "claim". I use to work in the restaurant industry and I have NEVER EVER EVER heard of a restaurant retroactively seeking out a customer due to the error of one of their employees. I also received a call at work, smack dab in the middle of the workday & a TEXT from the manager. Ridiculous and incredibly unprofessional. The owners should really reconsider who they trust to manage their establishment.

1. female bartender was very racist toward a hispanic bus boy. He clearly spoke no english and she called him a twat to his face knowing he had no idea what was being said to him. very classy right there. also my card got charged twice for the same bill, maybe an accident but who knows. i kind of doubt it. service was awful, she poured my friends beer and gave it to her right away. left mine sitting under the tap for ten minutes while going to help other people and getting them their drinks before she finally got back to mine. place had a nice atmosphere except for the awkward and rude treatment of the help, and the man throwing up in the urinal. I wont be coming back.

The food was good and fairly reasonably priced, but... My family had a female server, I think her name was Korina. I cant be sure as she kept rolling her eyes and looking away from the table, she acted as if we were inconveniencing her. At one point my son passed her on the way to the restroom and heard her refer to her stupid customers. Thankfully, another server came by twice to refill drinks and clear our empty plates as our original server did not seem to care for doing either. Second time there, first time with poor service, not in a hurry to go back.

Please disregard the comment from Neal C. I did not give him my permission to post my comments in regards to the Backyard Grill, Chantilly VA. I have asked him to remove the google post effective immediately. The restaurant is a great place and has been home for us for many years. The owners, customers and the employees are wonderful and the atmosphere reminds me of the TV Show "Cheers". A family style environment! Please come check them out for yourselves, you will not be disappointed.

This was our first visit to Backyard Grill. Our server, Pueblo, was very nice and attended to all of our needs. Overall service was very good. However, the food was the worst we have had in a very long time. We requested our burgers be medium well, not burnt. The ribs were dry with very little sauce or flavor. The place seems to be more of a bar than a grill or any type of eating establishment. Most of the restaurant is open to smokers (bar area). We will never go back!

This is a pretty cool place. It was near my hotel and slightly off the beaten tourist path. Food was above average bar food with plenty of options and reasonably priced. Great drink specials and a cool place to kick back for a bit with friends. The staff was knowledgeable, attentive, and engaging. The manager had the personality of a placemat but everyone else was really cool. I would definitely recommend going there, especially if you want to watch a game.

Im sitting here right now and I cant find zero star to these guys . Specially the manager (beard guy) extremely rude . Worst experience ever I had . I know all restaurants rules. I had 3 orders and Im here family . 3 ppl. He comes and ask you u cant share ur food . Thats BS . Im not asking for free refill. No worries. He is like a watch man rather bring manager Well really experience:((((

Just finished having an excellent lunch with my husband and momma. We couldnt have had a better experience! Everything from our fantastic server (Ash) hospitality to the deliciously prepared food was amazing! The superb service, efficiency, generous portions, atmosphere and cleanliness of this eatery is top notch. We especially loved the option of the outdoor dining area!

So this place is kinda like the low-key redneck beach-scene American cousin of the British pub. Really good inexpensive food, fun live music, a cheerful crown of locals, colorful decorations. Theyre friendly and quick to adjust the food to your needs. Nobody will be wearing fancy clothing and the beer is never going to be overpriced. Good place to relax.

Great food at a very good price. Had the California club sandwich and I couldnt even get the whole thing in my mouth. They dont skimp on anything! The wait staff is cheerful and do not mind running back and forth to serve your needs. Their hot sauce is Tobacco but they will give you jalapeños upon request instead. I cant wait to go back!

Seated with a table of 6 and the food was fantastic. Had a medium rare steak that didnt even need A1. Service was average if not a little below, however. But to be fair they looked understaffed and were really busy so Ill give them the benefit of the doubt. Overall great, would definitely go again. And theres a smoking section.

Real friendly bar & grill setting. Great place to go for a beer and good food. The outdoor patio is super, quick service, good menu, food is value priced, and great service. Only downside is as the evening grows late, the music gets too loud. When hangin with friends, cant hear yourself think let alone have conversation.
