LOS PRECIOS SON MUY ALTOS Y LA COMIDA MUY MALA LA ENSALADA PARESIERA QUE LA CORTAN DÍAS ANTES POR QUE NO ES FRESCA. YO ORDENE UNA MICHELADA TUVE QUE PAGAR $8 DOLARES POR CLAMATO PORQUE NO TENÍA MÁS DE MEDIA CERVEZA EN NINGUNA PARTE DEL MENÚ PONEN EL PRECIO DE LA MICHELADA Y AL FINAL TE COBRAN LO QUE ELLOS QUIEREN ADEMÁS EL BASÓ ESTABA MENOS DE 3/4 DE LLENO.LOS MESEROS TIENEN MUY MALA ACTITUD SE VE QUE NO DISFRUTAN SU TRABAJO. .YO NO LO RECOMIENDO PARA NADA

Take this with a grain of salt because it was the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but we went here for a family dinner out, thinking that it wouldnt be hard to get a table for 5. They couldnt seat us right away because they had a large reservation coming in. The host told us the wait would be about 15 minutes while they put something together for us, and we could wait in the bar area. Fine. However, they promptly forgot about us, and after about 20 minutes, my grandmother and I had to remind them that we were waiting. They hadnt put anything together for us, instead they just crammed five of us around a small table. The food was just averagely good (what youd expect from your average American Mexican restaurant), but the service was a little slow (Ill forgive them for this, since they were clearly understaffed for a busy pre-Thanksgiving evening).

I live near Guanajuato and have been a visit for years. The last time I placed a takeout order, the whole thing was wrong. I called to tell them just in case they had mixed my order up with someone else and received a sarcastic "thank you SOOOO much for calling" but nothing resembling an apology. I decided to give them another chance. I was told my order would be ready in 15-20 minutes. I arrived 25 minutes later. It wasnt ready. After sitting on a bench for 15 more minutes, I asked for a refund. I got a hand on the shoulder and a mumbled "ok, sorry" from the manager, but thats it. The woman working the register, who was standing about four feet from where I was sitting, completely ignored me the whole time I was there and was utterly indifferent. Needless to say, I wont be back.

Most Mexican restaurants fall squarely into two categories; the cheap, order combination meals by the number type, and the more authentic, gourmet type. Guanajuato is rare in that it places itself in the middle of those two types. The unimaginative taco / enchilada / tostada combo plates are available but theyve got some tasty, creative dishes too. While I wouldnt say that the prices are cheap the portion sizes are quite generous and the quality is better than the vast majority of Mexican restaurants. The food normally arrives very quickly and the servers are friendly and attentive. It has become one of our regular stops for quick, hearty, delicious dinners.

Used to be Tereros, but still the same great food and service. Their supreme nachos with chicken cannot be beat. I and my family know all the best Mexican (Tex-Mex) restaurants in the Triangle area, and not single one can beat their nachos. This appetizer is a meal in itself. Their margaritas are pretty darn good too! Almost every meal on the menu is enough for two people, so I usually enjoy leftovers the following day. The only improvement they could make is on the decor. Need more festive lighting and atmosphere.

My husband and I love this place. If you live in north Chatham County, its closer, convenient, theres plenty of parking and the food is fresh and tasty. We go here regularly for good Mexican food, and recently ventured out on Cinco de Mayo. They were slammed - people packed in like sardines waiting for a table. But! I was initially told 15-20 minutes to get a table, and we were actually seated in about five minutes. Even with such a rush, we still got in and out easily.

I find it much easier to get their food in my mouth than to get their name out of my mouth. Seriously, this is an excellent place for Mexican. Its a family owned restaurant, and that family comes from Guanajuato, Mexico. They have a great assortment of food and drinks, including some burritos that are the size of a boa constrictor, though no snakes were harmed in the making of this food. Go! Youll love it.

Decided to try this place out after dozens of awful Mexican food experiences in the area. We were pleasantly surprised! The food was great. Definitely the most authentic we have found since moving here from Texas. We will be back! The only complaint is that it took almost an hour to get our food on a Tuesday evening. Dont go if youre in a hurry!

Love the servers here they are always nice and the food is delicious and fair priced for such a large portion its awesome for takeout too. I have tried a lot on the menu but crispy pollo fundido is my go to or the plato favorito gives you a good variety and enough food for 2 meals.

Pretty good Mexican/American fusion, pretty good service, not super expensive. Just all around a pretty good experience. Theyve also got a bar with a decent selection, considering. Wont blow you away, but definitely good for a casual day/night out.

The best Mexican restaurant in Chatham County. All the standard Tex-Mex dishes are on the menu along with a few more authentic Mexican dishes. Try the tacos a la parilla or the molcajete. For a lot of food at a great price, try the burrito grande.

Really yummy! I really enjoyed my experience here. Great staff, great food and clean store. I had the tres amigos dish and it was one of the best meals I have had from a mexican restaurant. Highly recommended.

Previously Toreros, but they kept most of the items on the menu. Very HUGE portions and consistent service. Good specials.. We are here a few times a month for the past 10 years, they treat you like family!

I eat here way too much! Great service, bubbly diet coke and everything I order is the best thing ever, until the next time and its even better. I like to get spicy green salsa to add some heat.

Went here with family the other night. Love that chips and salsa come out as soon as you sit down. Margaritas are tasty and tart. Had the fajitas and they were delicious.

Really friendly service and quick, as youd expect Mexican-American food. Lots of TVs, if you like Soccer this is a great place to catch the latest international games.
