I dont usually write reviews but I wanted to share the experience I had at One Guy today - so disappointed. A couple coworkers and I often order from this location as it is close to our office building and we love the calzones here. Everything is usually great, but today was a different story. The guy at the register was a total jerk! He barely made eye contact and acted as though he was bothered with every little thing. When I asked for the cups for the drinks we paid for he practically threw them at me. Then I looked through our bag to make sure it had our complete order I asked him for a couple things it was missing. Again, he acted annoyed and threw those items at me as well. And to top it all off, when some other customers and I were getting our drinks he walked out from behind the counter cut us all off and refilled his own beverage. (Dont mind us paying customers.) Definitely the worst customer service Ive had in a while.

Holy moly...I was blown away by One Guy on a recent visit to Lubbock. I checked my trusty Yelp app, and you guys didnt let me down. Even the staff at the hotel I was staying at recommended this place highly, and for good reason. It is a little hole in the wall pizza place with a massive history and reputation. The staff is super friendly, and they helped make some recommendations for other places to visit while in Lubbock. Those dudes were seriously awesome. The only thing more awesome was the pizza. New York style, and SO delicious. I savored every little bite to the very last. I liked it so much, I returned the next day to try their calzone, which was off the hook. If I ever find myself back in Lubbock, I will most definitely return!

You arent an official Tech student until you have had a calzone from One Guy. Although they have recently expanded their menu, the best thing is still the original sausage calzone. This is one of my favorite meals and I dont even like italian sausage. One Guy is a small hole in the wall joint right across from campus. The staff is always friendly and the food is always fresh and straight from the oven to your table. The best part about One Guy is that it is cheap for the portion. The calzones are huge and are plenty to turn into two meals. Ask for a cup of sauce to go with the calzone. It will put it over the top in deliciousness. If you havent already been to One Guy what the heck are you waiting for?

They have the best Calzones and pizza. I am a pizza lover and I found One Guy to be one of the best I have ever tasted. The calzones literally oozes out melted cheese and tastes heavenly. Whenever I visit this place, I get confused between ordering pizza or calzone. Best part you can order either one slice or two slices or as many slices you can eat or a whole pizza if you are in a group. The choices of toppings are al great.

I thought about giving 4 stars but I couldnt fault them for having food so good that they were packed when we came through. Huge portions for the price can only help the popularity of this college town gem. Sure anyone can make pizza, but not like One Guys... and theyve got other Italian menu delights that Im looking forward to trying next time Im in Lubbock.

I love this place, and constantly come here, almost daily. The owner can come off as rude but the rest of his staff is nice and the calzone is most defiantly worth it. Saying they have one of the best calzones in Texas is by far no exaggeration. Youll certainly enjoy it. the pizza however is average. Worth paying a visit if you havent already

First time going there last week, took about 25 minutes to get two calzones kept looking at the order counter and every employee, just standing there doing absolutely nothing. Also they were very rude, talked to us like we were supposed to know the menu. We didnt know they didnt make lasagna on Sundays.Horrible experience.

This place serve one of the BEST pizzas I have ever had in my whole life. However, the place needs a whole makeover; it is super inside and the decor is too dated. The owner (comes during the day time) is a great person and kind. I definitely recommend this place for whoever wanting a great pizza for a good price.

This quaint little restaurant made such a great impression on me. Ordered 2 slices of cheese pizza with veggies. They quickly took my order, and prepared my pizza with fresh vegetables❤. Great service, and best pizza Ive ever had. The dough was perfect, crunchy and tasty. They were very large pizza slices also.

This location is over-rated. The owner is rude and pushes people through the line. Dont think about asking for a custom calzone. Youll be met with a dirty look and a snide comment. This location is small, crowded, and cash only. The food is great, but please go to the location on 50th St instead.

Had the Margherita pizza and house calzone. The pizza was the most bland pizza Ive ever had.. Crust was thick and doughy.. Frozen margherita pizzas are even better. Nothing like a Classic Italian margherita pizza...Calzone was also pretty bland but the sausage in it was decent. Wouldnt go back.

Really love this place!!! Food is always on point!!! And I love that I can just get a slice or two if I want. I would give One Guy five stars, but it just always seems like the cashier (no matter whos behind the reguster) cashier is always in a crabby mood. But the food is always worth it!!!

I personally havent walked into the place, but I did order a pizza for the first time. The wait was slow, but knowing that they prepare everything with fresh ingredients makes the wait worth it! I recommend anyone and everyone to try One Guy at least once!

Take out order took longer than they told us it would and the place wasnt exactly busy (it was late evening on a thursday night). The pizza was good but not outstanding, although calzones seem to be their specialty which I regrettably did not get to try.

If you want Pizza or a calzone made from good old fashion Italian family recipes, this is on you bucket list. Though this location mainly caters to college students who walk, there is another location on 50th that has more seating room.

Its a cult classic-type place in Lubbock. Your standard "the pizza place" for this college town. Its decent in actuality though. Nothing amazing, but definitely better than your standard fast food delivery pizza place.
