Stopped by on St. Paddys Day, and it was a pleasant surprise that they had a St. Paddys Day Menu. I got the "Traditional Irishmans Platter." It really was raw ingredients, and really one of the most basic plates. Literally slices of corned beef on a huge mound of tasteless cabbage and a couple steamed potatoes and baby carrots. It was also really dry and I felt like I needed gravy although traditionally corned beef and cabbage doesnt need it. The cabbage wasnt too soft either. We also got a side of Fish and Chips, and they were your standard fish and chips. I wish they included more pieces of fish as there were only three as opposed to a mound of fries beneath. Also, no tarter sauce. For Millburn Diner, Id stick to the simple stuff, like the Burgers and fries... I had pastitsio and their lasagna before and they were hard to swallow at some points. Service is alright, I liked their directness, but sometimes it sounded like they wanted us to leave (despite the room being nowhere near full capacity).

I went during Passover and got some matzo brei. The menu said it was served with 2 sides of your choice but the waitress seemed unsure about it. It ended up coming with lettuce and tomato which is a strange choice of sides for the dish. The matzo brei wasnt very good, way too eggy and I definitely wouldnt ever order it again. Everyone who tried it though it was terrible. My girlfriend got a skillet omelet and it was decent, the home fries that came with it were good as well. One of the members of our group ordered a skillet omelet and told the waitress that he wanted it without the fries however he still received fries with it. I guess this place does pretty well in such a small town but I would actively avoid coming back.

Was there once for a business meeting and NEVER again! Horrible attitude by manger and waitress SCREAMING at me on my way out because they though I did not leave a tip (they did not bother asking they simply SCREAMED at me in front of my guests), a minute later they found it (apparently with the dirty dishes) but now they came out to the parking lot SCREAMING at me again! (This time using offensive language) for not leaving enough tip (I left 25% which I believe is more than adequate, apparently they could not find all the bills). Don’t EVER go there, miserable staff with horrible attitude! Never in my life have I experienced that kind of an attitude in a restaurant over anything, let a lone a tip.

This is my favorite diner ever. Im always on the run and pop in here multiple times every week to eat or get take-out. The managers, John and George, are really sweet and all the waitresses are friendly and cool. In a year and a half, Ive never had a single bad experience. The food is really good, too. YUMMMMMM! (But like someone else said, the parking lot is a little crowded and tricky to get into and out of, and sometimes youll have to park across the street where you run the risk of getting mowed over by crazy Millburn drivers in their GMC trucks and BMWs as you try to cross.)

Awful! Every time I come anything bread has hair on it. Did not want to go out of my way to route 22 so tried again today. Of course my 8$ grilled cheese has hair and fuzz on it. Can not eat it nor do I feel like getting more angry going back in. Dont waste your time. Try Union Plaza Diner on 22.

The Millburn Diner is convenient. It sits one block from the Millburn Train Station right in the center of town. If you need a quick bite to eat of traditional diner food, it works perfectly. There arent any original dishes and nothing over the top, but if you come in hungry, you leave full.

We went there for dinner. Pork chop was way over cook; it was like eating rubber. seafood was not fresh. i guess this diner is just good for breakfast. Manager was so not helpful and giving us attitude. waitress was good and nice.

Have been coming here for over three years. The place is very nice, the staff is patient, and the food tastes amazing. The prices for the food are good, and the food itself is always fresh. Definitely give it a try.

French fries are nice and crispy. Pancakes are served with fake maple syrup that tastes disgusting. Servers were rather inattentive. 3 stars relative to other Millburn restaurants.

Rodents spotted coming out of the kitchen. I left. The owner said hed call the police if I didnt pay. I never said I wouldnt. Other people were screaming. DISGUSTING EXPERIENCE!

My favorite diner in the Millburn/Maplewood area. Nice people working there, and the orders come out correct. Food quality seems a bit higher than the other diners nearby.

One of our go to diners; clean, good diner food, good service. Although not our favorite diner, it is very convent location and still a solid choice if in the area.

The breakfast here is worth coming back. If you ever want a good flame-broiled burger or a good roast beef entrée, they make the best of both. Very good staff also!

Food is always good, taste and quality. Staff is top notch as well. Friendly and professional. Diners are a staple in NJ and this is the areas better choice.

Foods sometimes ok. Service is seldom terrible, but theyre slow and overpriced. Best to steer clear, better diners around. Its New Jersey after all.

A bust. I would skip this diner. The service has been going down hill for awhile now. Go to the Broadway diner in Summit. Much better.

Good but limited menu by NJ dinner standards, what they offer is good. Friendly staff. Convenient to Paper Mill Playhouse.

All I had was a muffin and coffee, the creamer was bad. They did bring me new coffee, but they never refilled.
