Waited for well over 15 minutes for our server to come around, this despite there being perhaps 5 people in the whole restaurant. For some it was seen to be reasonable to seat a family with two younger children at the bar? Guacamole made table side was as bland as the chips served with it. My wife had uncooked pork products in her taco, luckily it did not produce any ill effects in her. I had a hair in my beans, and honestly the rice was crunchy, tasted and looked like school cafeteria rice! My daughter ordered chicken tenders which turned out to be a sliced up shake and back chicken breast, my other daughter ordered a quesedilla which was cold and dried out. Oh and my tall glass of modelo had ice chunks floating in it. When we stopped eating after finding the hair and uncooked bacon or server took one of the tacos off the bill and charged us half off for the other, in the end our bill was well over $40! Even with all of this the manager never set foot on the floor to apologize. We will never set foot in here again, and honestly have told everyone we know about what is most likely the worst experience eating out we have ever had.

we truly had the worst service we have had in a restaurant in a long time. Long waits to have a wait person even acknowledge us Then a couple joined us and I informed the waitress that we wanted separate charges. Our meal orders took forever to be placed and when they arrived they were fair. The other partys drinks were mixed up and lack luster.. The final straw was the waitress finally came over and we asked our our tabs. After more wait time she could not remember what drinks we had ordered... so I reviewed our drinks and meal (one) we shared. The checks arrived incorrectly figured and she was off before we could stop her. I finally spoke to the manager and asked him to correct the bills. He thought that we could pay the total and figure out what each party owed. I stated I wanted a corrected copy of my charges. No appologizies he asked my wife what she thought and we told them it was horrid. The staff needs lost of training. PS the table across from us received the wrong dishes twice.

Okay, Im not usually one for reviews, but this place needs it. The food was gross with how bland and lukewarm it was. My entire meal tasted like nothing but too-old, soggy peppers. I couldnt even -taste- the chicken in my fajitas. We went in at 1:30 on a saturday afternoon. The host was incredibly rude, ignoring either of our attempts to make even the slightest amount of eye contact or earn a smile. I asked her how she was, and her response was "two, come on." She then proceeded to just throw our menus on the first table she passed and walk away. Mind you, this is our first ever visit, so... yeah, not a great first impression. The waiter took forever (about 20 minutes) to realize hed been seated and then spent the whole meal trying to get us to buy more alcohol even after my girlfriend told him she had to drive. His dessert suggestion was flan, which I never saw on the menu, but that flan was so good I added a second star to the review. By FAR the best part of our visit.

Horrible!!!!! Worst Mexican restaurant we have ever been to and we have been many up and all over the US! One of the worse restaurants in general. Horrible margaritas. We ordered table side guacamole. It never came. I after a second attempt they sent someone. We asked for no tomatoes in it. She put mangoes in it. Where they do that at? Are we subbing fruits? Weird. It was bland. We had waited so long for it we had no chips to eat it with. So it sat there. Two hrs later we got our food. COLD FOOD! I didnt want it. They had been reheating peoples all night! My husband had cold fish. Two of us had cold beef. The manager speaks moderate english selectively. They did take one order off the check, not charge for the guacamole and make two dishes twice, but needless to say we wont be going back.

The food was overpriced and flavorless. But most importantly NOT AUTHENTIC!!. I told the waitress, the food wasnt authentic mexican and he insisted that it was. He said the tortillas were imported from Mexico "Lol" and was there for like 10 minutes arguing with me about how "authentic" the food was which was rude and inappropriate. Authentic mexican food doesnt taste like that and they dont use cheddar cheese at all!!. This comes from a puertorican that can cook authentic mexican and has been married to a mexican man (who also cooks authentic) for 13 years!!! I knew what I was talking about and Im not going back!

We waited with enthusiasm for Frontera to finally open its doors in Fairhaven on April 3. Opening night was smoothly orchestrated with a well-seasoned crew knowing precisely where they needed to be and what needed to be done to make a good first impression. Mexican decor prevalent throughout which rendered an authentic atmosphere. A fresh guacamole traveling bar made its way up and down the rows. The restaurant was full and tables turning, yet the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Portions were large and margaritas were perfection. We predict a promising future for Frontera.

This has become one of my new favorite places within the past 6 months. My margaritas are always on point and the wait staff is very friendly. Amanda is an excellent bar tender, right on what you need when you need it. My favorite has to be the fresh guacamole made to order right in front of you but all the food is just as impressive. I always try something new when I go and still have yet to be disappointed. The mariachi band is a nice touch as well. Its a great feeling when you have found a quality place you love returning to. doing something right

Even though Im a diehard No Problemo fan down the street in new beige, I definitely like Frontera. We were seated immediately and before we even sat down, they had chips and salsa on the table. And my fiancée loves salsa. Homemade it seems. Margarita was good. Food came out quickly. Service was excellent. Food quality was super clean, well prepared, and clearly had fresh ingredients. Its a great sit down place. If only our kids would eat something other than pizza and chicken nuggets, wed bring them here. Legit recommend.

I found this place to be standard Mexican fair, with an unresponsive wait staff and a bit over priced for what youre getting. We wanted to beat the evening rush. We were seated at 5:30. At 6:40 our orders still hadnt come. When we asked for the check for our drinks and appetizers, we waited almost another 15 minutes as they rushed to get our food to go. By this point we were done and and just paid for our drinks and appetizer. Its a shame too. My wife and I had high hopes for this place.

Food was ok, where it went wrong is, I always use my debit card for dinning out and pay cash for the tip to my waitress so they have cash. After a number of calls seems like I would never give my card info nor eat there again. They charged my account a $10 tip on top of my cash tip that I wrote on my slip PAID TIP IN CASH. Im thinking this restaurant has done this before. Called to fix only to have them charge me again. Border line fraud.......
