Whenever I visit Burlington I try to dine at Skinny Pancake. My companions and I had breakfast there on Saturday and our meals were so good that we vowed to eat there again before we left town. This morning we went back to the same location. I ordered the same thing that I had on Sunday, the Noahs Ark. My companion ordered the Biscuits and Gravy, and her daughter ordered the Lovemaker. Surprisingly the line extended to beyond the front doors for our entire visit, and sadly, the quality of service suffered due to the crowd. My companion and I both ordered scrambled eggs, but the eggs that we received werent scrambled. Her daughters crepe came without Nutella. I walked over to the servers area and asked for Nutella and was promptly given a small serving of Nutella, but since it wasnt inside the crepe it turned into a mushy mess. I was tempted to rate them three stars based on my recent disappointing visit, but I know they usually deliver a friendly, delicious experience. Hopefully this was just a fluke. I still highly recommend SP. Get it together, guys and keep it consistent!

Ate at the skinny pancake on 2 occasions. On the first occasion the staff was being trained and the trainer, a hispanic man was excellent. The food came out amazing. It was busy and service was not that great but the heartbreaker was amazing. So when we visited with the grandparents the next time the kids brought us back but this time there was no trainer. The line was so slow and long. The guy making the crepes had curly hair and no one had their hair in nets. We placed our orders then grabbed a table and waited. We ordered 3 of the same strawberry crepe and all of them looked different so very inconsistent. The egg crepe was burnt at the bottom and we sent it back but the girl we complained too looked stunned and confused by the request. Noahs arc was a mess this time and the crepe portion was sloppy and too thick and undercooked. The heartbreaker was pretty good but it was the fruit cream and nutella that were yum not the crepe. On the positive note, coffee is good but no free refills. Overall ok place but really whats the hype all about ?!

Weve eaten in Skinny Pancake, Burlington. I had a Brie/apple crepe : The Brie was hardly close to the way Brie tastes but Ok, the apples were tasteless and worst of all the bottom of the crepe was burnt. It seems to be the natural way to cook a crepe there !!! The place was busy and I felt so sorry for all those people waiting outside in the cold for such a miserable dinner. Music, even though it was nice was too loud and I couldnt hear my wife sitting in front of me. My wife had a beet and blue cheese crepe, the filling was good but the crepe was so hard and burnt, she couldnt cut it with her knife. I enjoyed the hot cider and the dressing on the salad which is a poor result for 25 $. The waiter was nice though. One basic idea to begin improving things : Stop burning the crepes !!! It tastes better and cooking time is far shorter !

Called ahead for take-out. Told 15 min. but was actually double that. I was not aware until it came out because the hostess(?) did not do anything other then take my money. Due to wait I had a chance to observe. The hostess is adding up the tip jar and making change while there is 6 people standing in line needing service. She did not even look up to acknowledge them and continued on to get her tip money cashed out. They were still there when I left not being served. Asked for extra salad mix and paid for it... got the same amount as always. This is my 3rd time with very bad customer service and second time ordering food and didnt get what I ordered. First time my crepe was something completely different then I ordered. Not impressed.

I ordered a crepe because it had maple syrup and I am not from here and wanted to try the maple syrup I had heard so much about. After waiting for the food it was finally delivered and I was told they are out of maple syrup. It was disappointing no one mentioned this when we ordered. There was not enough seating either and it was overpriced. We also tried to order spinach dip and they were out of this too. We ordered home fries and because they were once again out of what we ordered we settled with French fries.

After a severely long wait both in the line to order the food and at the table waiting for it to arrive, I was not overly impressed with the portion size for the price, or the wow factor of the food. People were getting irate around us asking for refunds due to the long wait times! It was nice to know all of the ingredients were native to VT, but that didnt make up for the lack luster experience. If you are looking to have a long conversation before receiving your food then this is the place for you.

Went there with wife and 2 kids. I like it when places use local producers for their ingredients, but the main goal should still be quality. My crepe had way too much cheese - all I tasted was cheese. My wife and the kids didnt like theirs either. Kids had fries to snack on; these were too greasy and fried too dark. Service was not great, not horrible either. Sorry, Im not coming back. Ive had much better crepes; this was actually and very honestly the worst crepe Ive ever had.

Quite a contrast between the downtown location and your airport location. The downtown location last night? Five stars for quality. Food, beverage, and atmosphere are all excellent. Keep on keeping on. Your airport location? Dont order the eggs. The first, second, and third attempts at making an over easy egg were all fails. Grill temps are way too hot for eggs, resulting in a thick, brown lace all over the eggs that renders them inedible. Bummer... for $20 youd think it would be better.

This place was funky and fun. My husband and I stopped in on our way out of town and loved the local art on the walls and the locally-sourced menu. My husband ordered eggs over medium, which nobody EVER gets right, but they nailed it. I had the chicken and mushroom crepe cake which I thought was only okay -- a little too much going on -- but came with an AMAZING side salad that I really enjoyed. The service was friendly and it was fun to watch them making the crepes behind the counter.

Had a very good vegetarian poutine and nutella crepes. We came in around 7:45 PM. There was no real wait, plenty of tables, and everything was ready fast. The laid back vibe is very family friendly. I saw another table with a bunch of kids playing a card game. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bathroom -- shared by a number of establishments in the building was very clean. Its also its own attraction, well the hallway to them is. You really have to check it out.

Burlington location of local favorite healthy food restaurant. Live performances and occasional shows featuring The Moth Radio Hour. This location is larger and has great character. Always ask if they have what you want before ordering. Popular plates can sell out. Outdoor seating is popular, right near waterfront. Connected to Main Street Landing, which is home to movies and shows. Street parking and city parking is paid most days. Great to walk to if you are staying downtown.
