I live within walking distance from this great little sandwich shop and I dont go there nearly enough. The staff are friendly, attentive and very hard working. The fish and chips are the best you will find in part of the state and thats not all their good at! They have some great vegetarian options and some fantastic daily specials. One day, I went in with a strong urge for a BLT but I decided to try their "Roast Beef and Onion Ring Melt" special. It was hands down one of the tastiest and most satisfying sandwiches I have ever eaten. Well done, Union Jacks! This place is worth the stop whether youre visiting Burlington for a day or looking for a quick and delicious sandwich on your lunch break.

I have eaten hear at least once a week for the past 5 years. Im into health and fitness, and my one cheat meal is with Union Jacks. The best way to describe Union Jacks is as a basic sub shop, but 25% more. Its 25% more food; 25% higher quality; 25% more expensive (but so worth it). Go for dinner to avoid out-the-door lunch lines - especially on Wednesday.

I love coming to Union Jacks to eat. Everything you order is made on the spot. None of the meat or cheese is pre-sliced and the bread is baked in house. Their onion rings are also breaded and fried to order. With healthy portions Ive enjoyed every meal Ive had here. The only caution is that they can get busy at lunch time.

My favorite sandwich place in Chittenden County, locally owned by wonderful people who are fanatics about food quality and handling. The roast beef is unparallelled, better than Boars Head meats, the bread is fresh-baked and the specialties are always better than youd hope. Wonderful!

I had only ever had the fish and chips as its hard enough to find a good plate of that around. But, on the recommendation of a friend, I tried their sandwiches and they are AMAZING. Soft bread, fresh sliced cheese and meats and the peppercorn dressing is amazing. Just the best.

Great food, friendly staff and great value. The British food is fantastic and always has a strong lunch crowd. Food is fresh and made to order. Bread is baked on house and perfect. Includes hot and cold subs...soups, salads and cookies ... chips too. Great place to grab lunch.

I am all about trying new food. Even though Majority of my decisions though are Rice over bread. I got "His Majesties Meatloaf" on honey oat bread. Delish! I will definitely consider going back and trying a different item. Little more pricey vs subway but worth it.

Could not recommend any more! Food is incredible, and the people are great. They slice the meat for your sandwiches right there as you order, and the bread is also made fresh with a bunch of different types to choose from. 10/10 would go back again and again.
