I could write a bad review of my experience at this shop, but I wont. I could say how rude and snotty the employees at this little rinky dink coffee shop are but I wont, I could say they argued with me over what constitutes a " refill " but I wont , because Im above that. What I will say is this , I wont ever spend a cent in this business. I am the customer , and if you know anything about running a business , the customer supports your business, no customers no money, no money , no business , no business , no job . Capisc, Ill take my business down the street to the coffee shop that is always friendly and always charges me a DOLLAR for a refill. Good luck , your gonna need it.

Pretentious and RUDE! The coffee is delicious, HOWEVER, when I ordered a cappuccino last Friday, I received a latte. I brought this to the attention of the cashier and she proceeded to challenge me and insist that it was a cappuccino. The fundamental element of a cappuccino is foam. There was absolutely no foam in the cup besides the tiny bubbles clinging to the side of my paper cup. Very disappointed. Given the numerous coffee spots withing walking distance of this one, I will explore my options. Mestizo makes a much better (actual) cappuccino.

Three Pines Coffee just reopened right on main Street at the beginning of January, this time with their own space and bigger than ever (3x the seating and much roomier). The new space comes with new pastries (Bubble & Brown) new additional baristas and the same great coffee made even better. Its my personal favorite shop in Salt Lake. If you love coffee you have to give these guys a shot (or better yet, let them give you a shot -- of espresso).

Small menu, lovely atmosphere, and super friendly staff! Their matcha latte is really good, and so is their homemade almond milk. I usually get my latte with soy or cashew milk, since "regular" almond milk tastes too burnt and bitter, but Three Pines almond milk is super creamy and a little sweet - perfect for a latte. Im in love!

Super small, but super adorable coffee place. They really focus on the essentials: solid roast turned into basic espresso drinks or drip. They also have a bunch of iced drinks that are free of the usual sweetness madness. Their roast is really smooth and creamy. Great and friendly barista too that serve you coffee with a smile.

I was planning on hiking City Creek Canyon, and Three Pines was a perfect stop for coffee along the way. I had a large espresso and milk, which was very rich and delicious. The espresso was obviously prepared with skill, evidenced by the great flavors in my cup. Interactions with the staff were friendly and pleasant.

Delicious. Finally got to check this place out today and my latte was amazing. I thought staff was friendly and I liked the minimalistic, simple atmosphere. Pinecone art on the wall was cool. Pricey, but yummy baked goods. Will gladly go again for my morning coffee fix.

Small coffee shop and limited menu options but the coffee quality is really good. There was no Americano option on the menu, but they happily agreed to make it. Add an extra shot of Vanilla for additional flavor. No Wifi (which seems to be super common in SLC anyway).

Salt Lake City - if you want the absolute BEST Matcha Latte in town, you need to go to Three Pines Coffee. They have homemade almond milk that is so creamy and delicious and compliments the earthy matcha PERFECTLY! Tastes great iced or hot.

Lots of charm here. Small space with limited seating. Great wood grain decor. Artisan coffee with limited offerings mean there arent a lot of options, but what they do offer is really well done (less is more sort of thing).

Decent old brew, but not good enough for a 4 dollar plus tip! Nice atmosphere, great area to sit outside and relax Side note: For a place that has a name like "Three Pines", why no recycling bin!?!

Great little coffee shop! I had their cold brew which was so good. I wish they had Wifi, but I get why they dont. Its a small place and would be tough to have people just hanging out there all day.

Great coffee, the staff is definitely snooty. A little annoying when they will flirt with customers but, service is fast and coffee is great.
