There are a bunch of different coffee houses in Salt Lake City, but none is as good as La Barba. I have been living in different place around the world, and sometimes it can be a challenge to find good coffee. Even though Salt Lake has a bunch of coffee roasters and coffee houses, there is not a single one that has a roast as unique and well balanced as La Barba. The roast they use is more on the medium side and once you have been there you will come back as it has something unique to it. Despite to their quality roast, their baristas know how to make a coffee beverage in the right way. If you order a Cappuccino or a Flat White here, it is done the way it is supposed to be done. The milk has the right temperature, the right texture and is where it is supposed to be in the cup. Also, their baristas are all super friendly. Once you go there a few times theyll certainly remember you and you can have a nice little chat while they work their coffee magic. There are also a few really cute tables, so if you want a quiet place to work or have a chat with a friend, this is the place to go. Everything is just so relaxed and calm here, perfect to chill out. Their pastries are solid - but hey, you come here for the coffee. Love this place, by far my number 1 in town.

First off I wanted to tell you guys how much we love your coffee. We had it every single day we were in SLC on vacation. Caleb was an awesome barista with tons of knowledge and very friendly. We actually discovered you while eating breakfast at Pig & A Jelly Jar. We ordered the coffee expecting some boring drip coffee, but were pleasantly surprised by how delicious it was. This was not normal coffee! Our waitress proceeded to rave about La Barba and we went on the hunt to get a couple bags to bring home. So glad we discovered this SLC gem. We loved the coffee so much we signed up with a subscription! Were looking forward to drinking more of your delicious coffee

La Barba is one of the better coffee shops in downtown Salt Lake City. Its a small cafe, but the great coffee and customer service easily make up for it. When your there try their pour over. They do it right and its super delicious! Also, considering their location the pricing for coffee is fair along with their tasty pastries; dont forget to try the churros too!

La Barba coffee is among the best in the city. This location is nestled inside of the Spanish restaurant Finca. The quality is consistent, and they offer a variety of pastries. My only qualm is the price of their churros. While they are great, the price tag is hard to swallow.

This place does coffee really well. They know their shot, and Caleb was reading a chemistry book about the properties of water as it related a to making coffee. So yea, dont come here if you like Starbucks. Do come here if you are a coffee aficionado.

Delicious coffee, knowledgeable barista, interesting and unique atmosphere, reasonable prices. There was nothing not to love about La Barba. I highly recommend the cortado or americano although their regular coffee options are fantastic as well.

Amazing coffee. They even use real chocolate ganache in their mocha. Best coffee in SLC. Cant forget their perfect loose leaf tea. Actually brewed at the right temperature and steeped for the correct amount of time. Highly recommended!
