Todays the last time Im ever ordering from Chickies. I cant even finish the sandwich I got, its so disgusting. When they first opened a few years back, I enjoyed some of their sandwiches. Now that my wife and I are visiting the area for the summer, I thought I would give them a try again. Experiment failed. The first thing you need to know is that Chickies is not "fast food." Ive been to Chickies three times in the past month and every time I had to wait AT LEAST 30 minutes to get my order (each time I ordered in the store, sat, and waited - and this time the music was so loud and so bad that I had to ask them to turn it down). The second thing you need to know is that no matter what you tell them youd like on your sandwich, the Chickies staff does not actually pay attention. I ordered two sandwiches today - a "Made in China" and an "Ian Beat Box" - asking for them both exactly as they are on the menu (meaning whatever sauce they usually come with and the "standard" toppings of "lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles"), except that I requested they hold the tomatoes (raw tomatoes make me ill). The guy who took my order said it was no problem and I repeated just to be sure - no tomatoes. No problem. Thirty minutes later...they finally tell me the sandwiches are ready, verbally confirming with me, "You wanted lettuces and pickles, no tomatoes, right?" I respond, "Thats right, no tomatoes." I head to a seat and hungrily tear open the first sandwich wrapper - "Made in China." The only topping: pickles. And the sauce was so blazing hot - I was expecting maybe a little spicy (the sandwich is rated 1 out of 3 on the Chickies menu "spicy scale"), not burn-my-mouth-make-my-eyes-water spicy. Although Ive ordered the sandwich before and it was nowhere near as spicy, I figured Id chalk this up to a rushed kitchen, lesson learned. But then I opened the second sandwich when I got home - "Ian Beat Box." The toppings: pickles...and tomatoes (WTF?). The sauce was tasteless. And the chicken itself - like with the "Made in China" sandwich - was so overcooked and tough that it was like chewing leather. If I had to guess, Id say it was frozen and reheated. So I waited half an hour for two bad sandwiches that didnt even come as I ordered. FML.

First and only time ordering from here. How does a chicken place run out of fried chicken? I placed my order online, and they had it ready on time. However, they were out of chicken and onion rings, why did they not call in the 45 minutes to let me know. For the food itself, it is just OK, everything was very bland. For the mini burger sliders, we asked for no mayo, it had mayo. The "salads" are just shredded lettuce from the subs in a bowl. Who puts tomato on an asian salad? Was also charged for Avocado that was never put on a "garden" salad. On top of it all, not sure why I wasted so much time selecting sauces for fries and chicken and everything else. When I got home there was only the dressing for the salad, no sauces at all. Really disappointing overall experience, once was way more than enough.

While there is always a long wait and they are always later than they say they will be - - - - My food was 15 minutes later than they said it would be last night (they said 40 minutes which is already a long time)...after waiting 15 minutes I dared to comment that it was very late - the manager yelled at me and THREW MY COMPLETED ORDER IN THE GARBAGE - I had already paid for it and waited an hour - I will never go back there

Dont waste your time or money. Food was terrible, they wont be around for long selling stale food warmed up in a microwave. Even the french fries were soggy and inedible, like they had been fried hours ago and sat around. Chicken sandwich was large, but tasteless. Not sure when they fried the wings, but they were drowned in a sauce that seemed to come from a bottle. Service wasnt bad though.

Stole money. I was a regular customer, but one they realized I was one. They completely disregarded everything. They messed up large orders intended for charity. They showed up 2 hours late for children with disabilities. The children were very upset. Please dont support this horrendous establishment. They are against children with disabilities and charitys. Thank you, A regular customer.

The owner of Chickies is amazing.... the transformer in -front of the store blew and the owner came to a rescue and called the police,PSNG, he blocked the sidewalk so no customers could get hurt, blocked the parking spot in the front of the store so no one got hurt, and still operated serving food! Best customer service ever! Who else wpuld do that!

The best kosher fried chicken in the area. Every variety of chicken is delicious. Make sure to add sauces (if thats your thing) to your sandwich. They have quite the variety. As others have noted - call ahead to place your order, especially after the jewish Sabbath and jewish holidays.

Really yummy sandwitches and friendly staff. I always order ahead (takes about 30 min). My only complaint would be the cleanliness all around but the food counter seems clean and staff wears gloves. We go there all the time. Never got sick

Excellent chicken sandwiches. However, they do get very busy at times and I would recommend calling ahead with your order and asking them to start the chicken and that you will come in to pick the dressings and sauces.

Many different kinds of shnitzel sandwiches. The sandwiches are good and some of the other fair is also worth trying. When they get busy it can be hard to get an order in. I recommend ordering in advance.

The food is great, but it gets crowded. This place gets the high school crowd of young ones with no manners. Staff is ok, but place can get loud quick. Once you get your food it is yummy

Love the chicken here. Kosher chicken quality is way tastier than kfc or other fast food places. Their spice and sauces are very delicious too. My go-to spot for quick chicken sandwich bite

My favorite fast food location in Teaneck. The chicken sandwiches here are excellent, always fresh, and there are many different choices. They also deliver, and are always friendly.

The workers there are so friendly and take care of you. They are very accurate when they tell you when your order is ready. I prefer this better than any place in Teaneck.
