Really great coffee shop where they are roasting the beans in the shop itself which gives a great down to earth vibe in addition to some relaxing background noise if you are working or reading. The ambiance is relaxed and friendly. The espresso is also quite good (in my soy cappuccino). I wish I got something else to eat though (got the veggie panini which wasnt that great -- in my defense I was trying to be "healthy"). They had some other food options that sounded much better. All in all, its a great place to get some work done, has a relaxed vibe and good consumables.

The coffee has a lot of potential of being great unfortunately they served my espresso in an 8oz cup. This always yields for a long watery pull. I inquired if they have demitasses to serve the espresso in and her response was you need to request it.....okay. I was going to have a second one to satisfy my pallet but when I asked for it to be in a demitasse she said they were all dirty. Its too bad because the guys working in the back really look like they are trying hard to produce a good quality product and all it takes is a bad batista to void the efforts.

A great place. Not only great coffee and a fun space (couches, tables, window seats -- just a great place to hang out and drink in both the coffee but the great smells of the roasting going on 30 feet away) -- but wonderful blends and locally roasted coffee by the pound. I go every time Im in Salt Lake City, and always bring coffee home too. There are a ton of coffee places within a mile or so of this place -- at least four Starbucks (though one is closing), but this is the one worth the trip.

Amazing bagel sandwiches! Even their day old pastries and muffins are super yummy. Friendly roasters constantly processing beans, and professional baristas offering high quality espresso drinks. Lively but soothing atmosphere and lighting, all around lovely shop(: extensive drink menu for non coffee drinkers and and you cant beat their cacao. Great way to start the days adventures or to come spend some time as the destination.

When my husband and I were new to coffee, Millcreek came recommended to us by a friend. Now that weve been fed a steady diet of their freshly roasted beans, were completely spoiled. Nothing store bought has nearly the same taste and quality. I love to come in, buy a bag of bulk beans and their coffee drink of the day, and plop myself down in front of one of their big windows to read and work at my laptop. Love this place.

I love millcreek coffee. There are a few places in SLC that arent just "coffee shops" but that actually roast their own beans and make top notch coffee... this is one of the few that I rate as "excellent" in terms of quality. Their staff is very friendly, too, and that always helps! Not a lot of seating options, but many customers seem to be just headed in for their weekly bean ration, so its never been a problem for me.

This place is FANTASTIC! Such a beautiful coffee shop. Very large on the inside, and they roast their beans RIGHT in their lobby! Their chai is perfect. They follow traditional coffee rules, so dont order a Starbucks drink name here! Ask for something comparable. Im a huge coffee snob, and this place definitely gets my approval. If you like coffee, you must try this place! I insist!

Im only leaving 4 stars rather than 5 because the majority of their seating is hard, making it impossible for anyone like me to sit and stay for long working on things or even eating. There are a couple couches and cushy chairs but no padded seating at any of the tables. The food Ive had here has always been very good, the service is also good and its always been tidy and clean.

First time at this coffee shop. Absolutely loved everything about it. Had the kickin bagel for breakfast and an Americano. Very good! Hope the - barista- was very friendly and knowledgeable. She wanted to know how everything tasted. Wanted to make it right if my wife and werent satisfied. No need to worry! Were from Wyoming...cant wait to make a trip back here!

Excellent spot for coffee and light food. Atmosphere is very open with plenty of place for groups or singles. Around the sides you get a view of their huge roasters. The coffee was excellent and the food very good. My barista was very good at multitasking and was clearly a valued employee. Highly recommend even if youre coming from downtown. The walk is nice.

I order a flat white and my GF ordered a Chai latte, drinks were great and cafe was clean and really cozy. I took off with some free burlap to go. I thought the staff there were all awesome and really friendly. I would recommend going there if you are visiting S.L.C. plus theres some cool motorcycle shop around the corner.

Okay service, just-okay product, okay atmosphere. The roasts arent great, they have that mass-market coffee vibe. The bran muffin was pretty disappointing, and price/product is often better elsewhere. If you dont need fancy coffee or good food and just want a place to sit, this place offers just that!

Great people, great coffee at a great price! I love some of the local coffee we have around here - la barba, publik, etc, but Millcreek is the best bang for your buck, particularly for espresso beans. AND they dont over roast the beans, so you *will* feel the kick.

This Cofee Shop roasts its Cofee beans rite in the view of the customers. It is a Nice atmosphere place to meet for a good cup of Cofee or even Lunch. The Salmon on Lettuce is one I really recommend. Will definitely be coming back to enjoy the Friendly Service.

I love this place. Their coffee is exceptional and their hot chocolate is amazing. They use real cacao nibs in their hot chocolate and it really takes it a step above all the others. Their prices are reasonable. I usually stop here in the morning before work.

This is my favorite coffee in all of Salt Lake. It is a great place to get roasted coffee or pick up a cup of coffee. If you enjoy hearing and watching the roaster work, get yourself a cup of coffee sit on the couch, enjoy the aromas and watch away.

Great coffee and friendly staff, best coffee in SLC! The coffee beans are roasted daily in house, and the roasters are always friendly and willing chat about the process. Its pretty neat to see and smell the roasters in action.

They roast the coffee right here! I recommend the dark roast and pastries. Theyll make you a fine bagel sandwich, too. Im pretty sure if they had a drive-thru, theyd own the downtown coffee business.

Fun little hipster style coffee roaster and coffee bar. Coffee is excellent and the vibe is laid back and welcoming. I spent a morning and will visit again when I return to SLC.

The only reason I am posting a review is because they had almost nothing left to eat around 11am. They have a long menu of bagel sandwiches, many different ways but no bagels.
