It was around 10AM when I sat down at the village Cafe for a breakfast and get some inspiration about my new marketing campaign. The waiter took my order and brought my coffee. For the following ten minutes I wrote my ideas down onto my book while waiting for my breakfast. upon arrival of my food I called a friend David DeBeer whom lives next door. He said town with me and watched me eat my breakfast meanwhile we were talking. After the waiter cleaned the table David asked for a cold soft drink during his request the manager whom arrogantly said we needed to leave that we were not allowed to be there. In shock and not know what had happened I started to request information when I was refused and again demanded to leave the property, after while my friend David Debeer left and I continued and requested my bill, the waiter said the manager was handling it. about 20 minutes later the police arrived and said I needed to leave the property, I asked for explanation and they said thats the hotel policy they choose not have me there. I requested to have my bill or a copy of it for my records, the officer went and requested but was told they comped my meal and requested for me to leave and look for a civil attorney. Since I have not done anything to the restaurant nor staff but to choose to spend my money there, and with a hospitality background. The way the whole situation was handled is not acceptable and very unprofessional since the accusation is totally invalid. The sausage was dryer and eggs running when I asked for over hard.

Very friendly staff, been there several times for breakfast and the food has always been consistently good however this last time, it took over 30 minutes to get a 3 egg veggie and choice of one meat omelette. When it finally arrived it was quite lame and tasteless. One piece if a mushroom along with a sliver of a red pepper slice and pinch of a piece of sausage. Quite disappointing! There was no side of toast or potatoes; just a small portion of a sweet yogurt with a strawberry and 5 little blueberries.... All for $21 with coffee. The waiter asked how it was and when I mentioned it was quite disappointed he just shrugged and left the bill. I may give this place one more try due to the atmosphere but if it is a disappointment I obviously will not return.

I have lived in ft. Lauderdale for 38 years and never knew about north beach village community. My apartment is undergoing renovations and am staying in a nirth beach village resort property. Amazing customer service. So I have been to dinner at village cafe and service was slow but good was delicious and well plated and a great price. I have been there twice for breakfast and the pancakes and sausage were delicious, coffee excellent and service winderful. Today I went for a late breakfast and again delicious eggs Benedict with good crispy hash browns. Check it out ... I am certain you will enjoy the food, service and atmosphere

La atención de su personal es excelente pero mi platillo no sabía a nada. El huevo no tenía ni sal ni pimienta ni nada que le diera sabor. Aunque mi marido pidió un burrito y dijo que sí estaba muy bueno.

We sat outside & The ambiance was so relaxing! The lights and the acoustic music was awesome. Everything is white with accents of wood or green so it feels very clean and relaxing. The staff is very friendly! Our server was attentive and friendly. Additionally, During our visit we had 4 different managers/directors stop by to make sure everything was going well. The food was good too! A great variety. Would for sure recommend!

I wanted to switch the hash Browns that came with my breakfast with a fruit cup. Both are $3 side items on the menu. The chef said no according to the waiter. I said well then please just keep the hash browns as I would not eat them. The plate came with the hash browns. Good wasted. My previous experience was very good. The service was excellent. Unfortunately the bad attitude chef will keep me from returning.

Quiet spot next to some nicer hotels, good mood music and friendly staff. Coffee is very good and always refilled before we finished the cup, and Village Cafe offers real sugar which is always a plus. The Migas were excellent, flavorful, and just the right amount of spicy. My work got a customized omelette which she really enjoyed, and the yogurt and fruit that came with it was fresh and creamy. Great place!

Really nice place to hang out and grab a drink, small talk, and eat some appetizers. Cute little area, just a block west of the beach on breakers. Full bar, full kitchen. Diagonal from arts studio and village shoppe. Can be a great spot to meet up, have dinner date, romantic atmosphere without the pressures. Unassuming quaint cafe/restaurant. Locals and tourists alike...

This is only my opinion, but it is the correct one! Got this recommendation from the Aqua hotel. I read the reviews on tripadvisor and it looked great. But for us it was not that good. The sirloin I had was not that juicy and tender that I am used to in US. The service was ok, but it took for ages when we wanted to pay for our dinner. I went to the bar instead and paid..

Good for large or small meals. Dropped in for dessert and espresso - very good, very attentive staff. Dropped in another night for something simple, salad and soup - excellent, with quality service, nice ambience, reasonable and high quality food. Im going there again while Im on the Beach for a short vacation away from home here in Ft Lauderdale.

Went for breakfast and the food was just ok....nothing special. Coffee was good, and strong. The place is very "hip" .....but extremely expensive and this place doesnt warrant such high prices. Youre paying for the location, and there are no views of the coast or ocean... Just buildings. Very overrated and overstated.

Delicious... I had the balsamic chicken for dinner and it was so tender and fresh and awesome! Everyone is super nice. Ive been kinda overlooking this place intentionally because of the name and location, but that was a huge mistake. Also, dont expect any fancy drinks.. just the good stuff here.

Wow, crazy good and the wait staff are amazing. We went to other tourist traps for food only to be very disappointed there. Then we found Village Cafe. We were impressed, we returned again the next day for lunch and then again for dinner. Sadly we leave tomorrow. Wish we ate here all week!!

This place is like undercover AWESOME!!! I got the shrimp/rice dish that they served. It may have actually been the best dish I ate all week on my vacation. They treated my wife and I like royalty as well. We LOVED it and definitely recommend for a nice dinner at a good price.
