We used to be regulars for six years. Its such a shame that the quality of service and portions have gone downhill so hard and fast. Its really sad, the servers used to be so nice and professional, now youre lucky if you can get your order at all, let alone a, "Hi". It seems like they keep raising their prices and reducing their portions. The last time we went the waitress was incredibly rude, we waited over an hour for our food and she never brought our drinks. When our order was finally ready, she slammed the plates down and walked off before we could even ask if we could have our coffee. Hash browns were so soggy and cold I could swear they just defrosted them and threw them on a plate. The gravy is so over salted it tastes like they dumped a whole container in cheep McCormick instant mix. For the same price you could go to higher scale, locally owned, restaurants and receive what you actually pay for. If you want to waste your money, there are better ways to do it than going here.

Wasnt a bad place. People were friendly, but once you get your food, it seems they forget about you. Our order was wrong, it didnt taste all that wonderful. The prices werent too bad, but felt a little overpriced for what you do get. Took a bit to figure out the menu. Sunday was our first (and only time) that we went. Wasnt to busy at first and then about 20 mins became pretty busy. We could see our waiter, but because we were in the back room and could see him, we could see his new patrons were giving most of his attention the rest of the time that we spent there. He seemed to realize to bring us our check about 30 mins later, and that was when we could ask for refills, but felt we had to be rushed out. When we went to pay, they asked about our experience, was trying to as polite as possible. Only explain that the order was wrong, as a result, they did try to give us a $10 gift card to use if we ever come back. But I didnt accept it. Just not for us. Sorry. We wont be back.

Poor service, passable food. We had a group of 8, so they put 2 tables together. One of the tables wobbled so much we couldnt use it and be comfortable. I asked them to switch the table, so they (fixed it) by putting sugar packets under the foot. That didnt fix the problem, and then they complained within earshot about how we were unhappy. I wasnt the first to arrive, and had to wait 15 minutes to order my drink. The waitress delivered my drink to my sister, who thought it was something else and drank out of it. I had ordered coffee, she thought it was tea. We waited so long for refills that we had to ask for them the first time, and got them ourselves the second time. They got mad because we got up to get creamer for ourselves when we ran out, and again complained about it within earshot. Then they added a 20% tip to all 5 tickets, nope not paying that. However food arrived quickly after we ordered, as long as you asked for everything you needed up front ;-)

A complete hole in the wall, a diner, a dive... Ok that being said, the food prices, very fair almost cheap. Food quality is way above average. I love eggs and some other pork product for breakfast. They have it. Hash browns are always fresh. Toast is always warm and butter melted. It is hard to mess up breakfast, but harder still to serve it fresh and fast. They succeed regularly. Lunch is always the same, and so is dinner. Service is usually excellent, but I have had a bad server or 2, but over the last 2 years that is pretty good. Make no mistakes this is a dive, but the food is great, just like the name implies.

Got a takeout order of biscuits and gravy after reading in the newspaper how good theirs were. Was able to eat within five minutes, but found them extremely disappointing. Gravy was watery and tasteless, biscuits were heavy and slightly doughy, and I had to look very closely to find the few very small pieces of sausage floating in the gravy. The $6.00 price tag was ridiculous, given the small size and poor quality of the dish. Totally disappointed and wont be coming back. No frills/ no flavor/no sausage/ no quality/ no value /no return.

We had Bacon and eggs, hash browns and toast. Normally , most restaurants when you send something back, they take too long and dont get it right. Not here. I sent back the hashbrowns,. They fixed them up good, gave us trice as much l, and did it real fast. And the bacon, the BACON,... WOW. This was thick and so good. Honestly the best bacon Ive had in my life!!! And I have been around the world. The decor is like the name says. No frills, although they got a nice 50s style with Marilyn Monroe kinda going on. Great food! And lots of it.

Worst restaurant experience ever!!! As soon as I walked I should have turned around, it stunk sooo bad! Then we waited 25 minutes to even order, although as a waitress walked by numerous times. Waiter looked at us like idiots when we ordered (just Navajo tacos with beef), waited another 30 minutes for our food. Which the waiter came out and told us was made completely wrong!!! Just left, never going back. I would give it 0 stars if I could!

Love the food. The staff is fantastic! I have to be gluten free due to Celiac and they bend over backwards to make sure my meal is gluten free. Plus they understand the risks of cross contamination. They are extremely busy on the weekends so be patient, the food is worth the wait. Oh, and if you dont have to be gluten free, try one of the cinnamon rolls, my daughter orders one every time and I am so jealous. She says it is heavenly.

So much food!! Great service!! Had to take more than half home. For everyone that says they dont serve enough food, you mustve be born with 3 stomachs because not one out of the 10 people I sat with today could finish their meals. Yes, there is a wait for the food. But, it is FRESH homemade food. If youre looking for something quick, McDonalds is down the street. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant if you want to pay $10 for 2 meals.

The line to get a table this morning went out the door. This was my first time here. As soon as I walked in, I was mesmerized my the Coke collection...extensive. We were there close to two hours. The food did not disappoint. The eggs were not overcooked, the bacon was cooked perfectly, the hash browns were so flavorful, and my husbands waffle was crispy on the outside, and soft on the inside. I will definitely go back.

Terrible service. Since it changed ownership a couple of years ago, its as if the owner hired people with no experience in serving tables. Expect to wait a very long time for the type of food Dennys serves. Ive only been for breakfast and didnt find anything particularly unique or appealing about the food or atmosphere. Do not use the bathroom, its very dirty and not cleaned or maintained well.
